Excellent route. Parking near the jeep track isn't too difficult. There are several people usually doing the climb so it doesn't really feel unsafe. There are several scrambles but nothing that's technical. The route is mostly in sun so pack a lot of water. Prepare for many lunges. Stunning views of Camps bay and the mountain itself. The route is well maintained and signposted. Fine even on windy days, but avoid if wet.

Great hike! Not really any technically difficult sections but long enough for a nice work out. The views are spectacular.

The trail is very well kept and not tough to navigate. It does get quite steep towards the last 1/3 of the hike so be prepared for that. The views however are definitely worth it. Especially coming down during sunset. Definitely worth it and also far less crowded than lions head.

We started at diagonal which will be added to google maps soon. We walked up diagonal and along to the red gods valley where we continued along to Kasteelspoort. The hike took about 3-4 hours with breaks. This hike is not for beginners. The views are spectacular.

Truly a scenic route filled with breathtaking views, however you need to scale the mountainous and rocky paths that travel all the way to the top. These paths are not easy and therefore I'd recommend that a person has standard levels of fitness before attempting this hike. Also check the wind speeds. Winds reached an average of 115km/h making it hazardous, especially when continuing up the narrow winding paths.

Amazing hike to the top of the Table Mountain via a less busy side! Once at the top, so many trail opportunities are available! Will definitely do it again!

Last part of trail is very strenuous with a steep climb. Combined with strong wind blowing down beating at you during windy season this trail can become quite challenging. Best to hike this route with a small group and have at least one experienced hiker within your group. Not a suitable route for small kids, would recommend from teenager age group and older.

What a fantastic hike, the views spectacular and once at the top you can walk to the cable car for a wee lift down. On of my most favorite hikes on table mountain. #explore #travel #experience

I love this trail…it’s quite scenic, less crowded if compared to the other Table Mountain trail… you can access the famous ‘Diving Board’ from many directions like, Camps Bay, Constantia Nek, even from Platteklip Gorge… and ofcause the views are breath taking… difficult level is 6/10 it’s a steep climp if taken from the Camps Bay side… Gentle but longer if taken from Constantia nek… overally worthy the climb… you definitely should try it..🖤

Great trail, with beautiful views from the beginning of the trail. Be sure to check the weather first though, as it get very windy as you go higher

Accessible. Bit steep in places but pace yourself and any level of fitness can enjoy dinner of the trail. If course, the super fit will enjoy all of it!

We started in Camps Bay, took us 4 hours of steep climbing and scrambling but wow! What views! Knees were very sore on way down but we made our way to La Parada for cold beers and lunch. Start early in the morning if you can when it’s cool. Don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers!

Great hike for fantastic views. Quite difficult if you are not physically fit. Bring enough water and some food. Dress in layers and use good shoes. Go prepared with a fully charged phone and with at least two different downloads of maps for offline use. Hike in a group for extra safety because unfortunately mugging and assaults have been reported in this area.

Very steep, like walking up steps. Quite tricky if you’re not fit but SO worth it.

We went from the Camps Bay entrance to Diving Board. Very steep! Gorgeous view from the top.

Brilliant hike. Quite steep so a reasonable level of fitness is needed.
