The staff member on duty went out of her way to accommodate me. Cooked dinner from menu after loadshedding, even though her shift was almost over. New Yorker Grilled Sandwich was good and very filling. Also stored Karoo lamb I had bought on my way in their freezer for me overnight. Bed was comfortable and enough bedding provided for cold night. They also have lights during load shedding and USB port on plug for charging phones. Have stayed here before and will again when next in Beaufort West.

It's a place to stay, but definitely not worth the money, sorry. Our room didn't even have windows, it felt like a prison. Would not recommend. In response the the owner's reply: Yes, 2 windows. Small one by the "stove" and the usual small window by the toilet. Oh, did I mention how there is no door seperating the bedroom and bathroom?

We slept over last week for 1 night. The kitchen wash basin was full with old cooking oil. Bathroom was also not wiped up, dirty. The fridge was dirty inside too. The broken furniture in the self catering unit needs to be replace urgently. I would throw it out!!!! Not up to standard. On the kitchen basin a piece of old rusty pot scrapper was laying there. I didnt even wanted to touch anything. Something so old and rusty should be in a bin. I was definitely waisting my money on this place. I had to call the lady on duty (reception) and she cleaned the dirty stuff. Very dissapointing self catering unit!!!!!

The place was horribly dirty linen with dirt stains, beds with hair strains, hot water comes in and off while showering. Wifi very slow. Do not waste you money on this place.

Room was neat and tidy. Only complaint was the shower head that needs replacing, otherwise nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay there.

The shelves in the fridge are broken. There was only half a roll of Toiletpapier available. A bit of maintenance is needed. But all else were good.

The bathroom was not cleaned before our arrival, the soap container was used with dried up soap on the bottle, thank God i carry my own toiletries. Very cheap flaky toilet paper. the advert said they had a hot tub which the lady confirmed that they had but when i got there the guy at reception said that the did not have one on site and perhaps the lady misunderstood and thought i meant a tub. The windows did not close properly, bedroom window was missing a handle. Breakfast is not served on a Sunday.

Horrible experience. Imagine falling asleep in a room smelling like cat urine. Forced to sleep in the car at 1am at night. Asked for a refund and was rudely told we “should have” this and that. No responsibility taken. No refund given. Just a terrible bunch of people. Manager said he didn’t feel bad about it and we can report him, it’s fine.

Average, but you really need to sort out your warm water supply notwithstanding the latest technology gas geyser you have. As we speak, my water in the room is running for over an hour to get warm and it's still freezing cold even though I have followed your instructions. Only if this matter is sorted, I shall see myself returning. It takes away from the comfort of your place. In fact leaves a very bad taste

The room was okay. Mattress of the double bed in Lily room needs replacing (desperately) even the kids bunk beds were not comfortable. The chair has a broken arm rest and the curtains had loops. That said, the place was nice and clean so no complaints there. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast the next day was perfectly on time and delicious. We will stay over again if the mattress is replaced.
