The management needs to look into the maintenance as there are small issues that's showing. The staff is friendly and helpful and the venue is overall stunning.

Great service neh, but there is no food choice, you only eat what they provide. Otherwise the rooms are great

Very nice little country lodge. Few little issues : Price on menu and price they gave for supper was different. WiFi Hotspot did not work and when showered, the hot water was only like warm. Breakfast was one of the best ever had and kept me topped up till that evening. Well maintained and very cosy.

The place is ok....acceptable standards.. considering the area. The staff is quite friendly and efficient. I only stayed for two nights so it wasn't much to review. First day one had no option for meals, you eat what is prepared on the day, and food is dished our for you. Second day at least we had a menu to choose from. The food is also ok, nothing negative about the quality.

Very nice person who did the booking on Saturday, 19th can't remember his name. When arriving the lady was also so nice and explained everything. You can be so proud of them. Your units is very nice and clean. Keep up the good work

Was moved to Beaufort Manor due to a booking mix up at another guest house, these guys need to lift their game, clearly management is content with being par, bedding was clean, bathroom was smelling mouldy, shower was well par, dinner at R 220 per adult was par to sub par. Place isn't aweful, but in this price range there is far far far better. Also 4 stars mmmmm NO.

Very clean room and premises. Only problem was that the shower door couldn't close ( very large alternative bath provided) and that the twin adapter for the tv was missing. Will definitely be a returning client

The manager was unprofessional and didn't take responsibility of the bed service. We were offered a room which is could be a store room but priced as a high end room, toilet didn't have toilet paper. You pass through the kitchen to go to the guest toilet. Food was not covered 😕

False advertising at its best. We communicated that we required two rooms. Four of us were shoved into one room with only half the amount of required towels (which were dirty and stained) and glasses. We also called a week in advance to confirm that the included dinner would accommodate three vegetarians. Upon arrival they mentioned that they don’t have any vegetarian options and never have.

Stayed in two rooms. First room Aircon wasn’t working and temperature outside was 40 degrees. We booked a family room and then we were moved to room where the kids were made to sleep on a mattress on the floor at 9pm right next to noisy kitchen. We notified staff Aircon was not working at 4pm. Both rooms the bathrooms were filthy. Second room the shower head wasn’t working. It has potential to be beautiful but needs maintenance. Staff friendly. Found management disappointing and not helpful. We do this trip twice a year. Wouldn’t go back.

Rating three stars as this guesthouse is not a four-star establishment. Overpriced, rather average dinner (R1000 for two adults and two children); only three meal options and one dessert! Electricity kept tripping during the evening. On the plus side, service was good and attentive. Rooms were clean and functional. Overall, not very good value.

They do not cater for special needs. They also do not communicate from the one day to the next. So we had to leave without breakfast also could not warm my baby bottle in the basin because the basin plug does not have a rubber in so the water just drain out. I had to use a shower cap. Oh yes the lady at the front desk said I am more than welcome to leave a bad review for them. Maybe it is because she does not know how bad a bad review is for your business and it is not her business so she does not care.

Did not enjoy it when I was moved to a single bed room after my tv did not have any signal. Then I was only offered one item off the menu and I did not have any further options available. My colleagues at their sister guest house next door had 3 options for dinner.

The rooms are nice and the service is great, staff are all friendly and helpful, however, the food was terrible and extremely overpriced. My steak was so tough, I struggled to eat it. When I sent it back, they promised to sort it out, expecting another piece of steak, however, when it came back, it was the same piece of meat, but this time it was well done instead of medium rare, a very bad experience indeed. I will definitely not be back and would not recommend eating there. If I could score the food 3/10

Clean rooms, friendly staff and in close proximity to the N1. The steak was great but the lamb chops was very dry and chewy.

This is a good place for family members to relax after a long day, just need to improve and work on the quality of their service at breakfast for example no one comes to check on me if I was okay or needed anything which I did.

Rooms were nice but the floor was dirty. Food was over priced and equivalent to a high school hot lunch. Desert was burnt. They charge you 5 star pricing for 2 star food. Was going to stay for breakfast but we thought the local wimpy would be better.

Very nice and peaceful place, the rooms were very nice and clean. We arrived very late but someone was there to greet us.

I loved my room but my colleagues had a dirty sheets. And the manager promised to sort it out but and call him. But she didn't till today. I don't recommend anyone to visit that place. There are not good at all. I hate lies.

Lovely setting and well appointed rooms with loads of space. Garden and deck areas lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Only one issue, which was the food. At R280 a head it’s hellish expensive for what you get. Tasty but way overpriced.

Just arrived late this afternoon. So far so good. I have been here before and was impressed then. I'm still impressed now. Having a restaurant and licensed bar is a huge plus after a full days driving.

👍👍 I was quite nervous. Per call I spoke with Daphne and Amanda. Their manner and tone was easy friendly and professional. My experience at the Donkin was wonderful the room I was in is self-catering and it even had a hairdryer two point plugs installed incase you forgot yours free wifi and warm water...
