Thank you very much for the excellent service. We were a group of 15 people and only experienced the best. When a main water-pipe burst in town, leaving us without water, the lodge acted quickly and installed auxiliary water tanks and water pumps and filled them so as not to leave us stranded without water and ablutions. They offered to do our laundry free of charge in order to compensate us for the inconvenience. The staff is very friendly and professional and always willing to help.

Driving from Pretoria to Cape Town this is a perfect over night stop. Closer to the road to get back on track. I was so IMPRESSED to see how beautiful the place looks once you are inside the property 😍👌 I'm going to share a lot of photos for you to decide. The staff are so efficient and helpful and friendly. There is safe parking. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AS A OVER NIGHT STOP. there are shops and restaurants walking distance from the White house lodge on main ❤️💖 ** I STAYED THERE AGAIN.AS A STOP OVER AND I WAS STILL VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE STAFF AND SERVICE. Great place to have a goodnight rest and close to the spur if you dont want to braai

A very budget place to spend a night on you way, with friendly staff and a safe parking place, close to a couple of restaurants - these are positive aspects. Close to a loud highway with heavy trucks driving all night, old small rooms needing quite some renovation - these are negatives. To sum up: a good place to stay overnight during a trip, but not a place to spend a vacation.

Very friendly and value for money. Also close to the N1, with a store and choice of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and has great amenities including AirCons.

Not the prettiest of accommodations, but all u would need for an overnight while driving on the N1. Aircon, DSTV, clean bed and secure parking. Value for money

A low budget accommodation where some things could be fixed like the lights next to bed or the bathroom lock. If you don't like loud rooms at night make sure you book at least a room not facing main road. Although you can book an english breakfast witch is served at the 4sheeps restaurant on the other side of the road it is better to go there directly then you are more flexible and you have more choices.

No Coffee in room or at reseption for the cost of the room I think it is poor and will not.make ues of your place a Gen

We were told we could use the staff kitchen, and after one day of using it, they asked us to start contributing R50 each to electricity for using the staff kitchen they told us we may use! Their hot water is powered by solar, so after one person takes a shower the water is cold. They do not use the geyser, they only switch it on at 8-10pm and then 4-6am. So cheap. The accomodation costs are meant to cover everything, definitely including electricity costs. There is no warning that there may be other costs, and we flat out refused to pay for cooking. They do not provide toilets paper, you need to constantly ask for it, and sometimes they 'wont have.'

The place is neat the ppl are friendly the boss also have good attitude towards customers the price for place to sleep over is affordable
