We happened across this place after finishing up a day of exploring in the area. Very cool inside and our server, Kelsey, was so friendly and helpful. We told her we'd never been and got some recommendations that did not disappoint. Definitely want to go back and try more of their food! Everything was well seasoned and had lots of flavor.

Service was excellent, atmosphere was great, patio seating. The babyback ribs were superb as always, fall off the bone tender! Sides and appetizers great also. And the Moose Juice hit the spot. Was a Great Birthday Dinner! Can't wait to return. It had been a while since we had been there, won't wait that long again before we return. Just returned for VALENTINE DAY, 2022. Everything was awesome! Food, service, staff and atmosphere top notch!!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING food and service!! Exploring Miamisburg last weekend and wanted to check out a local favorite. Definitely worth checking out! It's totally worth another visit! Today it was steak and shrimp...OMG so good!

Fun energetic restaurant with a quirky feel. We had a big party of 12, made reservations and were seated quickly when we all arrived. Drinks and food were great. We had full rack of ribs, they were really good, tender, fall off the bone. No left overs came home, none left.

My wife and I love this place! The food, drinks and service are great and prices are reasonable. We really like the patio when the weather cooperates but if we have to eat indoors then the bar area is where we go. And during these trying times with the coronavirus, the Bullwinkle's staff appears to be taking all the necessary precautions. So eat, drink and be merry!

The place was great! Cozy, welcoming! The food was delish! The waitress knew what we wanted to say before we said it and always was a step ahead of us. Fast and friendly!

Wonderful outdoor dining experience. They let us bring our doggies to eat. We ordered the Appetizer combo and the Atlantic Salmon with the vegetable of the day. Everything was great. Their bbq sauce and Salmon glaze as a bit too sweet for me, but t still delicious and we ate every bite. The doggies ordered a plain hamburger patty. If that patty was their standard hamburger patty, then their burgers are massive. The moosetaters were a first for us, very good and almost the size of a small slice of pizza. The spicy ranch was excellent. Not that spicy, but loaded with flavor. Excellent experience, and I bet even better if their is a game on. They have a 12 foot TV outside to enjoy. Alexis(spelling??) Was our waitress, and she was excellent!

Great food and great service. We arrived on Friday at prime dinner time it was packed could hardly even get in the doors they quoted us 45 min and we agreed but for our family of 4 it was only 20 minutes. The waitress Allison was very genuine and did an excellent job. Our appetizers and drinks were served very promptly. Our meal was excellent. Our waitress caught that one of our meals was wrong before we even noticed, a manager came out right away and discounted the meal and by the time we got our children set up and eating their dinner they had a new meal brought out right away. We didn't have to say anything. This place was packed and for good reason because it's awesome. It's the service you expect but rarely get!

We made a late reservation for a party of eight adults and three children and were generously accommodated. They were BUSY! Maddie was our server and she was excellent. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. They are definitely doing something right at this place. Keep up the good work!! We will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem, Great Food, absolutely loved the Meatloaf Sandwich, chicken egg rolls & Margarita. Very neat place, love the environment.

My absolute favorite place to go!! The food is always on point. Service is top notch. And 4 types of atmosphere… inside nice family restaurant, fun bar side, front patio seating good for people watching, back bar patio great for watching sports, playing cornhole and relaxing in the covered patio or by the fire pits!! Highly recommend!

I have been here twice! Once for my sister's birthday and once for a work party. They have a nice upstairs area that is a private room and bathrooms upstairs so you don't have to go downstairs. For both visits having large parties the waitresses were always on the top of their game! I had their salmon and it was so delicious! Would definitely recommend!!

Met a friend here for lunch on a Saturday and was really happy with it. Waitress was attentive. Got the Cobb salad and it was a really good size and absolutely loaded with cheese, bacon, egg, etc - they certainly did not skimp. Everything seemed reasonably priced and it was “nice” inside without being overbearing and still feeling very casual

We have been here a few times. I've never been disappointed. We had our dinner on the patio last time. Be warned though, the traffic is very close. Food was good, my wife said she could tell her burger was a frozen patty. My ribs were awesome though. The service was better than the food

Atmosphere is cool. Waitresses were nice and provided good customer service. Drinks were strong. Each of us (3) got burgers and fries and all evaluated the both the burgers and fries as average. I got the Chuck Norris burger, and it didn’t punch the taste I was expecting. Food grade is a 3, but the customer service was a 5, so grading this place out as a 4.

Very cozy upbeat bar and restaurant. Dark wood and brick sports decor, nice and comfortable. Lots of booths. Great combination dinners two can easily split. They are best known for falling off the bone baby back ribs. Great onion straws very thin and crispy. Bar is fun to hang out at right on the main drag in downtown Miamisburg along the river. I recommend.

Mother is in a wheel chair and Bullwinkle's has ALWAYS been super accommodating about getting us a good table so she is comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is great. I have never gotten the same thing twice (with one exception) and everything I have had has been great. This time out I tried the pork chops with down town Mac and cheese. We got potato skins for appetizer and in general I find potato skins just ok, but this were very good. The only exception to getting the same thing is the chocolate moose. It is a great end to a meal.

Absolutely love their food. I usually get the moose chunks, which are chunks of chicken breast in buffalo sauce (other sauces are available), but you really need to try the hash puppies. Excellent ribs and the city mac & cheese is excellent! Bartenders are always friendly and the service is good.

Gave this place a 4 star, because 14.00 for a viking hamburger and fries. The food was good, service was good. Need two sides for the price. I enjoyed the 10 wings, but no side was offer. Also had the Hash puppies, filled with lots of cheese 😊. Had sweet tea, 3.00. Restrooms very clean. Over all for a lunch menu, very exspensive.

We really enjoyed this place. We had the all you can eat ribs, brisket, pork, and chicken. Ribs were the best. Mac and cheese was good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

We have been coming to Bullwinkle's since we moved here a little over 5 years ago. We had been accustomed to excellent service and food. We did have one unpleasant experience a few weeks ago when neither were up to par. That being said, John, the owner, immediately reached out to us offering both an apology and offer to "make things right." We took him up on this offer last evening and were not disappointed.We enjoyed a pleasant evening of food and drinks served up splendidly by our server, Megan. She was very attentive and pleasant. Even though things were quite busy at the time we visited, the food was served hot and quick, even with my wife's request for a vegetarian substitution. Thank you John for the dinner date and for not only keeping Bullwinkle's amazing, but for actually improving over time (you guys have to see that amazing new patio and huge TV!) Moral of the story, all businesses can have an "off day." What is more important is how they respond! Keep rockin'!

We are from Columbus, Oh and was visiting my daughter and went there on a friday night! Going back just to go there, absolutely delicious apps and drinks. $2.50 Margaritas....yes please! Also the potato skins was amazing and hash puppies. 😍

John and his team helped make my Dad's Celebration of Life such a wonderful night for our family! John took the time to walk us through the catering options (highly, HIGHLY recommend the penne pasta and garlic bread). He even met me weeks in advance so I could test the video/audio for the video we prepared for the celebration. Megan and Myah (and other others that helped behind the scenes) were simply outstanding and went so far above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed at the start and helped us so much when we left! Just can't say enough about the service. The food was perfect and the portions unbelievable. We had so many leftovers with about 40 people showing up. Our family will be hosting future family milestones here because of the tremendous experience!

Pot roast was really salty and dry. Chicken fingers are super greasy as you can see the brown napkin. I could not finish my lunch. Baked Beans had way too much mustard in them. My husband couldn't finish it either. I don't know what else to say. Megan was the only good thing about this lunch. She was super nice!!!! 5 stars to Megan, if I can give no stars I would on the restaurant. Gnats are pretty bad also.

Stopped in for lunch, The Sriracha garlic moose chunks (boneless wings) were super good and only ran about $13 with a soft drink. My wife and I will go there every once in awhile for dinner and get steaks that are juicy and cooked to perfection. Dinner for 2 can run anywhere from $50-$100 after tip depending on your order and if you get apps or deserts.

Just ate lunch here again today. Excellent as always. Pulled pork sandwich so delicious it doesn't need the barbecue sauce. Fried were great also. Thanks!

I remembered loving this place a few years ago so we made a trip out of going for dinner yesterday. Our server was friendly and attentive, unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The brisket on the Shredded "Q" sandwich was very dry and the Sherman Sensation Burger was overcooked (ordered Medium and it was Well Done). The fries tasted soggy as well. These complaints seem quite frequent from reading other reviews, so I don't think it was just an off night.

The food here is amazing and there is a lot of variety available. There's something for everyone.

Good food, nice atmosphere. 8/10 times the food is great. Went there twice this week,both times the food wasn't quality. $22 NYS should have been much better. Very tough and I like it mooing. The food wait time was high but appetizers came quick.

Delicious food. I think the ribs at Chappy's social house are better but the ribs here are pretty good. All the food I have had has been fantastic. Will definitely be back. Service is kinda bleh though. Half seem to have no personality; just on robot mode.

Took 40 minutes to get drinks and our order, but food came out pretty quick. For the food it had great flavor. The ribs were a bit dry but not horrible, the steaks were a bit over cooked, but the chicken was rockin'! Broccoli was a tad late coming out with the plate, but was cooked just how I like it, and the baked potato wasn't too bad either. I had a sweet tea and it was really tasty. Their steaks come with onion straws on tops, just so you don't order extra on accident. If it wasn't for the long wait and the slightly overcooked meat it would of been 5 stars. Definitely do recommend a stop for dinner.

Good bang for the buck. Love their BBQ I need to try some other menu items. They try to watch their spacing but don't always succeed. Not a big deal. Can't wait to get back there

I ordered a fish sandwich to bring to my husband for lunch yesterday. He called me and said that it had bones in it and he couldn’t eat almost any of it so he had to throw it away. I called Bullwinkle’s and asked them if they would be able to send a refund for the order because this happened. They said that I had to bring the sandwich back but they wouldn’t refund the order (I had already brought it to my husband and would have to drive another 45mins to get the sandwich and 45mins back to bring it back to the restaurant). I just ended up not going, it wasn’t worth it to drive another hour and a half... Very disappointed.

Good steak. I will return to try the ribs.

Food was very good, staff was a little less responsive than you would expect with a relatively small crowd, server seemed distracted with , we sat at a bar table, she seemed distracted with other folks that she seemed to know, talking to them alot. Food was still good, and hot when served. Will certainly go back.

The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone. Suggestion - get the whole slab and they're even better the second time. The baked potato was excellent - had the salt on the outside and I ate the whole thing YUMMY!!!
