Not a regular by any means, but myself and my daughter received such a warm welcome, and even had some banter, not over priced, great product and we'll definitely be calling again , Thanks Richie x

Brilliant addition to the community. Very welcoming atmosphere and a fun and friendly place to socialise. Dog friendly and my pooch loves going and socialising too. Great selection of Gin, real ales and cider. Although it is a micro pub, there is always more than enough room and doesn't feel small at all.

I have called into the beer Engin a few times after ordering a takeaway a couple of doors away, (Why wait in the takeaway or car?) and have a swift couple of pints in here. Excellent range of beers and spirits which change on a regular basis, safe and welcoming atmosphere and a friendly barmaid/ manager thank you for your hospitality.

Brilliant! Nice real ale, well chosen, always changing and well kept. This week's current count they have 53 gins. Kegged craft ales for those who like that thing. For the width of a shop the layout and seats are homely and welcoming, but what really makes this place is how friendly it is. The people who run it are lovely. Everyone knows each other, while in other places that can feel cliquey, here they start talking to you as soon as you come in. It's an absolute communal gem and well worth a visit.

Fabulous pub. Great service, quality beers, lovely crisps. Would recommend it to anyone. A brilliant night out to be had. Even the locals are superb!!

Under new ownership and a great micro-pub. They are very covid safe conscious and have a booking in system. We were not aware of this but they accommodated us after a short wait. Beers are in great condition and a good range of cask and keg
