Excellent service and food. Settings is nice. Only critique is carpark has seen better days. So be careful if unsteady on feet. Otherwise cannot fault the place.

As soon as I walked in it smelt fabulous! Such a cosy, comfortable vibe as soon as you walk in.. the staff are so friendly and welcoming.. Hidden Specialty Coffee is very presentable and clean and the food we ordered came quickly, very tasty! I would definitely come again.. my family and friends left with a happy full belly ☺️..

Couldn't find cafe. is this a joke? Came here specifically because of the good reviews and wanting something different to the regular. Drove past 3 times, no signage like the pictures show. Just not funny, went elsewhere.

'Hidden' is a diamond in the rough! Quirky, quaint, rustic....and fantastic coffee. I'm on Long Service leave and I would recommend this cafe over all others...it's buzzing ❀ What a great find.

A true hidden gem! Walking into this place one could be forgiven for thinking you have left Armedale and stumbled into a Melbourne Cafe. With great coffee precisely made using miniature scales for each cup to make sure just the right amount of beans are in each shot. Very friendly staff and I hope to come in for a coffee next time rather than just a take away shot.

Amazing hidden little coffee shop with great food and good atmosphere. Coffee was a good strength and comes in large cup sizes!

Our food got given to the wrong people when we told them they remade our breakfast for us but in reality they just reheated it and the eggs were cold and hard bread stale and everything else was over done to the point of dry and crispy. Also the coffee was muddy πŸ˜• I wanted to give this place a second chance and turned out to still be terrible...let you know that it's not that special. We'll never be going back or recommending this place to anyone it's gone down hill.

Beautiful hidden cafe! Great service, good food and coffee. Loved the outdoor seating, wish there was more, dog friendly, big plus for me! They have a great selection on there menu, something for everyone. Only downside is they can bevery busy, hard to find seating at times, but I guess thats also a sign of a well loved cafe.

OMG! What an absolute Hidden Gem!! We had a Chicken Prosciutto Bagel each which was to die for.πŸ˜‹ Hubbie had a flat white and I had a long black... their coffee is superb!!! Thanks to the staff who were warm and inviting even though it was 15mins. before closing. Give yourselves a pat on the back for your great hospitality skills!

The industrial decor means that it can get quite loud in here but I like that its out of the way and in an unusual location. Pros - lots of parking, easy to get a seat, loads of space between tables, good coffee, cakes and pastries are fresh and made on the premises. Cons - the service staff can be a bit slow and scattered, there's not really a view or much in the way of outdoor seating. Overall, it's a great little place for Kelmscott locals but as a resident of East Perth, I wouldn't travel out here just for the cafe.

Great little local Cafe. Food and staff are lovely. Love the cold pressed juices. Don't drink the Strawberry πŸ“ fields - it's terrible (and I'm sick of it being sold out when I want it πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰)

Quite a pleasant little Cafe with plenty of parking space. I had lunch with a friend and ordered the breakfast dish. It was nice but nothing spectacular. The tables were a bit sticky, but it was otherwise an ordinary experience.

A cozy and tucked away little gem of a cafe. We enjoyed the ambience and decore. The food and drink were good, however the service was a bit lacking. That's easy enough to get over since we left full and content 😜

I love that the Eggs Benedict is served on toasted English muffins instead of toast but the hollandaise sauce was a little different to what I'm used to- slight tangy taste. My partner had the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was nice but the ham was just a bit too salty for his liking. I loved the Mango Smoothie 🀀

Excited to go here, presented really nice. Waited an hour for breakfast and it wasn't even busy when we placed our order. While waiting got extremely busy. Coffee could have been hotter but it was really nice coffee. It was meant to be maple bacon it was normal bacon and eggs were meant to be soft, they were hard. I was extra lucky to get extra crunch in my breakfast. I saw a bit of egg shell on my plate when I put some in mouth an extra crunch. No apology at all . I thought the older guy was quite rude. Do yout want another one or your money back . thank goodness the barista guy was really nice and made a good coffee but like I said could have been hotter. The barista guy extremely nice young man.

Coffee is great, faultless. Dined in and unfortunately had an allergic reaction to a hidden ingredient in a dish that wasn't mentioned in the menu. All the food however looks lovely and I'm sure tastes amazing. Staff are kind and friendly.

Well what can I say. It was a very negative and disheartening experience, they over charged me according to there current on display menu. The food was awful & tasteless and presentation was disgusting. Staff & owner have no interest whatsoever in the use of basic manners, politeness and courtesy. I was there as a single entity and the place was not very-busy. If you trade as a retail you need to make sure you are upfront and honest with the customers and also be aware of the consumer laws the regulate and govern the retail hospitality industry with in the state of WA and the country of Australia. There is just no excuses for misinformation that blatantly robs consumer of their had earned dollars. Give this place a miss. I shall be lodging a formal complain against the owner/s and the business. NB. I have to by default give one star, this should be 100 negative stars.

Shame.. this place has a great vibe.. coffee was good.. bagel was nice.. unfortunately it took over 45mins for our bacon & eggs to be served... very average serving too... yes it was busy.. but that's not acceptable πŸ˜•.. friendly staff.. but SLOW service .. won't be back

Great little Cafe, loved the coffee, food and cold pressed juice were excellent. Hubby had a big breakfast he said the poached eggs were perfect, no vinegar taste, I had the Bacon and egg bagel, absolutely delicious the relish completes it nicely. No deliveries but worth getting out of the house for. Industrial quirky decor completes this Cafe perfectly.

Went in for lunch around 12.00 Friday staff were really blunt and didn’t acknowledge we were standing waiting. When asked for a menu the girl behind the counter gave a very dry response. Only β€œcabinet food” as kitchen closing early today. When I said oh what a shame she just looked at Me and walked off. Had this cold attitude a few times as of late…..

Place is nice inside. I joined my girlfriend and her mother for breakfast this morning and we had to eat quick and leave we couldn't hear our selfs talk the lady's behind the counter had this rap hip-hop music louder then grooving the moo festival. Its not really enjoyable trying to have a convocation and meal with this going on atmosphere - negative star ⭐.

Service and atmosphere was great along with my hot chocolate. Ordered the eggs bene and wasn't too much of a fan of the hollandaise sauce but, I will say it was well portioned and again... service was really good. Thank you 😊

I love the atmosphere of this place. The food and coffee are good but a bit on the expensive side. It’s a small thing but the iced coffee lids always leak which makes the experience less enjoyable.

My first time eating brunch here. First impression was that the exterior looked a little too rustic, like it had seen better days. Inside, the interior is spacious and has an industrial design feel to it. We helped ourselves to a table inside and grabbed a menu. We ordered the (a) eggs benny and (b) the bacon, eggs and toast respectively. And since i wanted to know why the venue is called Hidden Specialty Coffee, I ordered a coffee too. When the food was served, the bacon was deliciously crispy, and the bread was toasted just right. The coffee was very good too - I had a large cappuccino, which was smooth, and came with a yummy chocolate orange biscuit. Very memorable taste of chocolate and orange. I had the eggs benny while my companion had the bacon, scrambled eggs on toast.

Unfortunately we arrived 20mins to close but staff were more than happy to serve us and make our food to go. I missed open and closing time so all good. Actually drove past the place the first time as I didn't see it . Set back from road it's a black colour building and in semi industrial shopping area. Inside looks amazing and would love to have coffee β˜•οΈ there. Food was nice and the lemon meringue πŸ₯§ was yum. Will definitely go back at an earlier time. Closes 1pm

I would have given a 5 if it wasn't for one of the young girls working there.. Yea I understand that it was busy but when there's hardly anywhere to sit and the girl behind the counter asks where your sitting and all the tables that were free are covered in dirty plates and then She rolls her eyes when you say there's no where to sit until you have to point at a dirty table and ask another waitress to come take the dirty plates away you get a bit annoyed. There was also no knives in the cutlery bucket and when we asked for one the waitress pointed to the empty bucket and walked off. The coffee was great we have been a few times and this was the first time for a meal I had the corn fritters which were pretty good. I have just moved here recently and would like a local coffee shop. I hope the staff are less rude the next time I come here. The young girls that work on the weekend don't seem to look like they want to be there.

A friend and myself organised to meet here this morning, as neither of us had been before. I certainly won't be going again. We walked around trying to find a clean table. Not one. We sat and waited 10 minutes, and still nobody came to clear and clean the table we were sitting at. Disgusting. I did not like any part of my visit to this store, from the first moment I set eyes on the front of the store, which is far from inviting. We were not greeted, no smiles, nothing. I shall continue to have coffee at Muffin Break. They are clean. They greet you. They smile, and they are very friendly. Hidden Cafe, can stay hidden.

Good coffee and food, and great loyalty program - can be a bit noisy and also warm and stuffy if you're not under the air conditioner.

Lovely food and coffee. Unfortunately with polished concrete floors the cafe is very loud, we had to pause our conversation whenever the blender was in use. They knock everything else out ofthe park, they just need a rug or two.

The name says it all.....It is hidden off the main road but don't let that stop you from driving quickly around the back to get there... Superb fresh Coffee and the delectable breakfasts are to die for! Highly recommended for a quick catch up, take away coffee or an office meeting as there is heaps of space!

This place gives any Melbourne Cafe a run for it's money. No matter how long it's been since my last visit, the exceptionally friendly staff and owners not only remember my face, but also my tricky order with it's minuses and additions. The food is delicious and fresh. The coffee gives me goosebumps and their new smoothie menu is amazing. I just wish I lived closer.

The matcha needs to be stronger it tastes and looks like just milk you know the matcha is weak when it is barely green I like the range of their foods, gluten-free and vegan The opening hours need to be a bit later Good prices too

The coffee was actually very good and all the food looked lovely, however, the customer service could've been a tad less snooty and a tad more competent. I look foward to my next visit.

  • 1/5 Isabelle W. 3 years ago on Google
The coffee was okay not the best I've had but not the worst. The food was super disappointing. I had the corn fritters with "guacamole" which was just unseasoned avacado. The fritters themselfs were so bland and the texture dense and horrible. The service took for ever. My partners meal wasn't any better. And the didn't seen to clear the tables. Would not recommend

  • 1/5 Emma L. 3 years ago on Google
Very disappointing. Waited half an hour for food. Also they got our order for coffee wrong. The food was very bland and basic. Also very expensive for a little amount of food. Coffee was okay though. Bagels had the tiniest amount of cream cheese. Would not go here again, for nearly $60 not worth it.

V.O $20 smashed avo was two pieces of bread with avocado and a sprinkle of curried tofu scramble and capsicum. What happened to the eggs and cherry tomatoes? 40min +wait for food. Kids food was 2 dry pieces of toast and a small pot of beans. No cutlery. No butter $8. Two kids meals two adult breakfasts $74. Was not worth it. Get better food for less at Dome.

Cracker short machiatto, tasty brekky that came out in quick time. Dog friendly, airconditioning and good tunes on offer. Lots of seating available including a couple of Chesterfield couches and raised bar top style tables with stools. Staff were knowledgeable and more than happy to assist with anything we needed. Would like to see cushions on the metal chairs coming into winter πŸ˜€lots of vegan and vegetarian options, all sorts of milks available also.
