Most helpful surgery I've ever been to. (2022 update) I have to edit my review as I have seen the service change over the past 2 years. Recently had some palpitations and had to see the doctor. I had to chase up my ECG results from June and have been calling the surgery frequently but they cannot tell me anything. I am still waiting to hear back despite calling many times. It is very alarming when you are waiting for results to be told that they do not know what has happened to your results or where to find them. I await a response. What a shame as this surgery used to be excellent.

Awful If I could give 0 I would. Why are they still not doing face to face appointments?! How do you examine a patient with back pain over the phone?

I have been with this surgery for the past 6 years and i can honestly say that the staff and doctors are the best that i have ever seen. I can always get an appointment, th ey are helpful, friendly and always polite. They always go above and beyond to help me and i honestly cannot rate them highly enough. Excellent treatment, Staff very polite, always trying to help, Dr. Chelvan is very experienced, always puts us at ease. As a family, been visiting this clinic since July ,2018. i have never once been disappointed, diagnoses the problem explains it and provides treatment immediately. highly recommend!

Awful practice - always weeks for an appointment and doesn’t do same day appointments for children as many other surgeries in the area do. Our 2 year old son had a temperature of over 39 degrees for 2 days and they refused to see him or even get a doctor to call us - offered us an appointment in 10 days time! How ridiculous. Ended up having to go to a&e which is not how the system should work and my poor son spent over 4 hours waiting in hospital to be seen for something that should have been done by his GP. We are now in the process of moving to Ballater surgery as I know they have an excellent triage and email system for same day appointments.

One of the worst GPs I've been to for a number of reasons detailed below: - Rude/unhelpful diabetic nurse = My first appointment I was told everything I was doing wrong but no advice on how to improve. - Rude reception staff = My girlfriend & I were 5 minutes late to an appointment so I called in advance to let them know, when I got there & told them am here for my 5-month-year-old son's appointment she looked at me and said yes I can see that :/ Bad communication = For some reason hospital letters for my kids would be sent to the GP and they forget to forward them on or let us know. This has caused us to miss a number of appointments and now on long waiting lists again.

Excellent service. My local gp. My procedure is: I called gp to book appointment, doctor called me to do telephone consultation, doctor sent the prescription to my closest pharmacy electronically, then I went to pharmacy to pick up my medicine and I went to gp to provide sample.

Very rude receptionist! I turned up for my appointment on time and for almost 40 mins I sat waiting to be called in. Asked the receptionist to check what's going on as I needed to get back to work and her response was that I should not disturb her, if I wanted she could cancel my appointment.

Horrendous experience for my wife. She waited 2 weeks for a GP appointment, turned up and it wasn't a GP so couldn't help with anything. Then couldn't photocopy her medical history notes there and then told her to come back tomorrow! If you are trying to make people leave and go private, you have succeeded today.

Very impressed with the service thus far. Having recently moved to the area my partner and I registered to the practice expecting to wait quite a few weeks before we were onboard. Thankfully, we were registered in less than 48 hours! My first trip to the GP was good also; friendly staff assured that I was seen promptly!

Such a wonderful team at this practice. Very caring and follow through on everything.

Wouldn’t recommend. Admin staff at the Orpington Highland Medical Practice constantly following impractical, inefficient policies, with no explanation provided. The receptionist flat out refuses to send my blood test results back to my NHS consultant who requested for the test in the first place. Have been advised to come in and collect a paper copy of the blood results to then send back to my consultant. During lockdown.

Have no appointments for a month! Not even a phone in with a doctor. The general feedback is to head to a&e

Good Experience always. Doctors are really efficient and always take time to hear problems and prescribe good medicines.

If i could give a zero star I would. Criminal. Area in gereral is criminal in therms of health care.
