The Lion and Key Pub in Leyton. Better described as a hotel with a bar serving a small collection of keg beers. Friendly, attentive staff and a clean well kept premises. Not the place for real ale drinkers as nothing on cask.

Just returned from a lovely stay at the Lion and Key hotel, staff were amazing and so accommodating. The place was immaculate and customer service top notch. The pizza was delicious and breakfast in the morning so tasty and cooked fresh to order. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay there, such a wonderful experience. Our room was modern clean and stylish. Thank you Lion and Key for an awesome stay. Giorgio at reception was excellent and catered to our wishes Thanks again.

Nice food for breakfast after a single night in one of their rooms. Great location for visiting the Olympic park. Room was very good, although technical problem meant there was no hot water, but they offered free breakfast as compensation. Would stay again if in the area.

Amazing place! Coffee is tasty and beautifully served. Also, they've gived me the best cheesecake I've ever tried. Place is very cozy and modern. Prices are reasonable.

Nice clean bar, very friendly and professional staff. Got there late so had already eaten but still looked through the breakfast and dinner menus and was impressed. Will be back eating there within a week 😀

The food quality and pricing is ok but the customer service really needed improvement. Waitress didn't know what a lager shandy was (even tho it's a pub) and the difference between gravy and peppercorn sauce - there's a possibility it was a miscommunication between the staff or inexperienced. The place is nice although not the sort of meals that makes me want to visit for seconds.

Friendly and attentive staff, the food is very high quality and reasonably priced. Pictured is the Turk Breakfast and Full English breakfast w/ Royal salmon Benedict in the background.

Room was basic but perfectly acceptable and as expected, room was clean and well provisioned. To top it off the reception staff were helpful and friendly and they accommodated my need to check in a bit early. An all round positive experience.

My parents stayed here recently and they couldn't have been happier, super friendly staff both in the hotel and the bar / restaurant, and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. They even provided some treats for my sister's dog. The food is your typical pub offering but executed with care. And they have an extensive breakfast menu ranging from a Full English to a the East London staple – the Turkish Menemen, the latter of which I can vouch for.

Nice clean environment. Staff were very keen to help hence providing a good service from start to finish. Food was tasty with good portion sizes.
