Beautiful cathedral. Location is pretty awesome as well, on top of the hill. Gift shop near the back. Active catholic cathedral, so check mass times to ensure your visit doesn't interrupt or you could attend. Stained glass is quite impressive. The stations of the cross are inlaid into the wall, looks very nice.

This cathedral was very nice and well preserved. Too bad it was already closed during my visit, due to coronavirus. But I still enjoyed the place because of its magnificent architecture. I went here solo with my camera and tripod and I had good photos. This is a must visit when in Arundel. One more thing, you can have, perhaps, the best view of it from Arundel Castle's garden grounds.

Very beautiful place to come and visit or to worship. The cathedral has a real sense of calm and faith. There is so much to see , there is a 12 part story in the walls around the main body of the church about the story of Easter. The staff are very very friendly, knowledgeable and calm about them . Really worth a visit

In my view, this is one of the most breathtaking Cathedrals from the inside and outside. We went today and noticed that all statures have been wrapped up in purple fabric for the Lenten season.

Wonderful Cathedral, full of warm, welcoming atmosphere. There is a lot to see, at the same time, there is space for quiet prayer. The Cathedral has an amazing organ. The surrounding views are magnificent with gardens and Arundel castle.

Beautifully tranquil on a hot day. Barely anyone in there, so plenty of room to amble and look at the architecture. Added bonus of being used as part of the Art Trail around Arundel so modern artwork to view too.

Mission accomplished- my first time in Arundel. The town is very impressive from faraway and close up is time to explore. Lovely cathedral.

If you visit this stunning cathedral make sure you ask in the shop for the quiz. Its 150th anniversary of the construction this year. A total must if you're in Arundel.

Enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the town accompanied by a coffee and cake. Then a brisk walk along the Riverside admiring the ancient castle and then on to St Nicolas parish church.

One of the most beautiful interiors I've seen. It was built specifically for the Duke hence provided a canopy for the nobel carriage so the noble sunshine wouldn't get damp. To satisfy the noble ego and build a tall spire did not allow the chalky soils, one had to be content with a short one from the side of the facade, look a little bit out of tune there. Inside is clean, spacious and luminous.

Magnificent! The exterior and interior of this cathedral, was just ... breathtaking! You don't need to buy tickets to go in, but you can make a donation. There were no queues. Just beware of rude/ill-mannered people/visitors! I don't know why, but when I go to churches or cathedrals (I'm not religious, I just love architectures, especially old buildings) I get a sense of peace. I can't explain the feeling, but it's comforting.

A nice cathedral both inside and outside. Peaceful and just right next to the castle.

Majestic building you can see it from afar, inside is well worth a visit.

Amazing architecture, and striking in its place high above the market town. It holds your stare from a distance but equally ornate and worth seeing up close. It is a very clean and well run site, although parking could be a bit tricky on busy days.

Beautiful building that may be small in size compared to other cathedrals, but huge in grandeur. A calm, restful worship space.

A glory of 19thc Gothic; a special bonus since both the castle chapel and Lancing College Chapel are nearby. Great acoustic for Sunday morning singing.

A beautiful cathedral church built at the end of the 19th century for the newly created Catholic diocese of Arundel. The church, designed in the gothic style, is magnificent while being austere at the same time. Recommend a visit during performances/rehearsals of the famed choir

The cathedral is beautiful and the corpus Christi flowers were amazing and so much work . The afternoon was quieter so got close to all the fabulous displays and they smelt nice too. Went for refreshments at the hall nearby and got charged £3 for a small cup of tea which was a rip off. Cake was nice though just a shame drinks were so expensive for such a small cup.

I visited Arundel Cathedral on Wednesday 15 June 2022. It is a beautiful building with beautiful sculptures and art work. There was s particularly beautiful monstrance on the altar. However, I was greatly disappointed in the lack of spirituality about this church. Granted, it is important to raise funds but the numerous tables made the church resemble an indoor market. Jesus had something to say on this matter, as I recall! The stewards said they had trouble recruiting priests, which is why there is only one daily mass, which as it was at 10am, sadly I missed it. The church doesn't seem to know how to reach out to other more diverse communities which have vocations amongst their young ones. If you want a shopping experience, come to this church. If you are looking for spirituality, I wouldn't bother. Very disappointing.

Lovely looking Cathedral inside and out. Magnificent stone work. It's a great pity that the water damage in several pieces isn't being addressed. Not going to be too long before this building of such age and splendor will be irreversible stained for life. But that opinion is from a London builder not saddled with the hefty costs involved in such historic buildings. Wouldn't hurt to get someone up a ladder to check out the hoppers on the back of the Cathedral. Stations of the cross were exquisite.
