Genuinely surprised by how bad the food is. Even if you're starving, I'd suggest you turn around. Never in my life have I experienced such a poor show for sustenance. The BBQ food is beyond diabolical and simply disrespects the animal that was killed. If you appreciate reconstituted meat that doesn't remotely represent the animal it came from then I would wholeheartedly recommend you eat here. Otherwise give it a miss and do your bowels a favour. I wish I could give this place less than a star as it certainly doesn't deserve it. Before leaving a glimpse of the kitchen revealed which I had previously suspected. The only 'fresh' produce which is stored is mass manufactured buns. The meat was tasteless almost certainly frozen and not remotely fresh. So do yourself a favour and turn around.

We had our wedding at Baypoint on Saturday. It was amazing! From our first meeting with Kirsty and the team, we knew we were in good hands. They could not have been more accommodating, helpful and generally all round fantastic. The room was decorated to perfection and all the guests loved the BBQ and the food. The grounds were perfect for the ceremony and were a gorgeous back drop for our photos. We honestly couldn't recommend Baypoint enough as a wedding venue. We wish we could do it all again!!

Signed up to a 12 month contract. During this year the clubs sauna and showers always smelled like mould whenever we went, rarely had hot water and half the gym equipment was broken/being replaced. Also had an instance of my stuff being stolen while I was in the shower which staff stated they were unable to help and went no further with it. Felt like we'd wasted the money so did not renew however did not realize it was a "rolling contract". So I rang to cancel and see if we could get any money back (which I wasn't expecting because my fault for not realizing) but on the phone I just got a girl named Lauren who was very matter of fact and even stated "well if it my bank account, I would've noticed money coming out". While I accept this statement to be true, it's not the level of customer service I would expect from any company. Would not recommend much nicer/better gyms around.

Have been a member for two years. Cannot fault this gym or its staff. This gym is geared to supporting you through your fitness regime in a supportive manner. Atmosphere is wonderful. I have used another gym and there is no comparison with Bay Point. From a social perspective the restaurant and bar area is spacious and great for coffee after your workout. Just got to watch out for drunk drivers dropping off their kids for football practice.. had to confront one this evening slurring his words almost hit us!

It's a nice setting down near the Stour estuary and the bar is decent. The gym looks well equipped although I've never used it. I just wish the 3G astro football pitch would be resurfaced and the cage around it fixed. It's a shame as I think they would get more bookings if they did.

Carvery on Easter Sunday. Food was excellent, staff were attentive and pleasant, price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend and will definitely go again.

Great venue for Sunday carvery. Multi sports venue with a whole host of teams. Really integral to the local community. If you have an event or function they would be able to cater for your needs

Very nice venue. No longer into gyms but what I could see through the window looked pretty good. Used the bar and attended a function in the hall All very nice and modern. Top marks to the guy, who I assume was bar manager, very polite and helpful.

Nice venue, good facilities and welcoming staff. Well priced with plenty of parking and nice bar area for relaxing after a workout. Worth a try.

Be aware... We booked 2 squash courts and reception forgot to book us in.. Also, we booked 2 badminton courts again the same happened. In addition, no one wants to set up the courts so we were left to do this. Unfortunately, I have now decided I will never return to this sports centre as its poorly managed. Hope the same doesn't happen to you!

Good clean a little on the expensive side for a beer but ok

Great facility, excellent 3G surface for 7 a-side. The actual cage itself is in massive need of repair behind each goal (plus it would be really helpful if they unlocked all the gates on the cage to make getting the ball back after it had gone over the goals much quicker)

Great place super gym, lovely bar and loads of football pitches

If your into sports, then Bay Point is great, lots of football, including ' walking football ', tennis etc. The bar is good and they also do bar food.

Recent discovery of Sunday carvery and thoroughly enjoyed . Good helpings well prepared in comfortable surroundings with good atmosphere.

Attended a wedding here! Absolutely lovely venue staff were fantastic really helpful and accommodating Nothing was too much trouble even when a dreadful downpour stopped the bridal party walking down the aisle they quickly ready an alternative room for the ceremony. Great food too would definitely recommend Baypoibt club as a venue Thank you so much.
