Ah,
Costco.
The
magical
land
of
bulk
products
and
endless
aisles.
It's
a
place
where
you
can
buy
enough
toilet
paper
to
last
you
a
lifetime,
and
enough
snacks
to
fuel
a
small
army.
But
for
someone
like
me,
who
isn't
a
huge
shopping
fan,
going
to
Costco
requires
some
serious
mental
preparation.
My
beloved
insists
we
visit
Costco
every
once
in
a
while,
and
I
begrudgingly
oblige.
But
as
soon
as
I
step
inside
those
massive
doors,
I
feel
like
I
need
a
suit
of
armor
to
protect
me
from
the
overwhelming
onslaught
of
products.
It's
like
a
battlefield,
but
instead
of
weapons,
everyone's
armed
with
oversized
shopping
carts.
And
let's
not
forget
about
the
crowds.
The
Costco
in
Watford
is
always
packed,
especially
on
the
weekends.
It's
like
a
zoo,
but
with
less
animals
and
more
oversized
jars
of
pickles.
If
you
do
manage
to
brave
the
crowds
and
make
it
to
the
checkout,
be
prepared
to
wait
in
line
for
what
feels
like
an
eternity.
I've
seen
people
grow
old
and
retire
while
waiting
to
pay
for
their
purchases.
But
all
kidding
aside,
the
quality
of
products
at
Costco
is
top-notch,
and
the
prices
are
hard
to
beat.
Plus,
the
additional
services,
like
the
tyre
sales
department,
are
fantastic.
And
let's
not
forget
about
the
food
court,
where
you
can
grab
a
cheap
meal
and
fill
up
for
the
rest
of
the
day.
Just
don't
expect
gourmet
cuisine
-
it's
more
like
"eh,
it's
food."
So
if
you're
feeling
adventurous
(or
just
need
a
lifetime
supply
of
paper
towels),
head
on
over
to
Costco.
Just
make
sure
you
bring
your
suit
of
armor
and
a
lot
of
patience.
