Sheffield Photographic's long history is a testament to their professionalism, industry knowledge, warmth and customer service. I shoot for fun these days but still have the Manfrotto tripod I bought from them 25 years ago which goes everywhere with me.

I have used this shop for many years due to their excellent service, from passport photos (and have been there when they have been doing different photos for non UK passports too - they know what the regulations are and ensure customers leave with a photo that will be approved) to printing...to buying cameras/accessories etc. John and Jenny gave excellent advice when I bought my first digital SLR and spent time showing me various makes and models. Recently I returned stressed thinking my camera was faulty the day before my hols ...doing all the usual checks new batteries etc. John calmly took them out (duracell) and replaced them with energiser and it worked perfectly! Thank you :-)

Great for passport photo's. After spending nearly an hour at home trying to take a photo of my daughter that met all the criteria, I gave up and came here. The guy was lovely and we were in and out in 5 minutes with a perfect photo.

Popped in here a couple of weeks ago for a new strap for my binoculars, and the lovely man put the new one on for me there and then. Got chatting about a broken film camera of mine, and went in today with it for him to take a look. He gave it the once over and then some new batteries and it’s as good as new. Great little shop with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Really recommend

Fantastic service from the team at Sheffield Photographic Centre. I had particular requirements and they had excellent attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

Its true that the owner is grumpy but my girls though he was great and I got gorgeous passport photo's of both of them. I've also previously bought a photo frame for a friend there which I liked alot and when I asked about getting a certain type of photo album that they didn't seem to have they ordered them in for me. Overall I'v been pleased with my experience especially as its so convenient if you're popping into the Tesco Metro.

Great little shop, well stocked with lovely staff that are always happy to help. Fantastic selection of photo accessories, gifts and binoculars. :)

I printed some disposable pictures and they came out fantastic! Amazing quality of paper and they were packaged with great care! Plus they also came in a CD! Very friendly people too :)

On our first trip to get passport photos for our three year old, an older man "helped" us. He was very grumpy and after 5 minutes gave up and told us to come back in an hour when his manager would be in so she could take them. On our second trip the manager was there and it was much the same experience. After five minutes of trying she said "I give up, take him somewhere else" although we had gotten one photo that would have met the requirements had their camera settings been right. I can't imagine why they advertise doing passport photos for babies and children when they clearly have no interest in working with them.

I'm quite late in the year with writing this review but as they say 'better late than never'! Jenny was absolutely great in helping me adjust my pictures I wanted & also assisted in printing them out accordingly too. Being a complete novis in photography, I couldn't haven't expected any better customer service from her. Thank you Jenny!! :)

I have used the shop on several occasions and have always had good customer services of both staff members. Jenny is always cheerful and pleasant will go through things with you and spends time giving advice even if you are only browsing or picking her brain. The man has taken my child's passport photos and I had no complaints he spent time explaining how to print photos and correcting my errors and was helpful & in no rush. I don't know what some people want. Both members are helpful and pleasent
