This place is a lovely little find! Our first visit & definitely won't be our last when we're in London. The creamy pancake breakfast was absolutely delicious, such a wonderful mix on a plate to start the day. Happy, polite, friendly staff & great value for money.

Ordered through Deliveroo. Came in good time and condition. Nicely wrapped so nothing spilled en route etc. The pancakes looked fantastic and tasted delicious! Highly recommended.

Huge portions. Attentive staff. Wait time for foods is a little long but I don't mind that. Took approx 20 mins for food to come for our table of 3. Worth the wait for huge portions and super tasty food. Would recommend

I love this cafe, when I'm in the area, I enjoy grabbing a delicious English breakfast or salad ( i requesteda custom salad in a takeout box) and they made it for me, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is 10/10 as well and the food quality is great.

Wonderful cafe. Great, tasty food - huge portions. I always leave more than satisfied! But the star of the show is 'M' - a superb host, with impeccable customer skills. Many businesses could learn a thing or two from M!! He treats everybody, regardless of age/gender/background with the utmost respect and manners - so refreshing & so needed in today's world!! The food was so yummy but they really take their time bringing it out so you can have staggered meals...which then leads everyone to pick at the 1st meal that comes out lol. Fantastic take up of our club sandwich request which they made perfectly for hubby. Kids loved their spag bol. My toast with avo, Haloumi, spinach and chorizo was absolutely delicious.

We love this cafe sooo much! The food is first class and is cooked to perfection every time, it is absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and make you so welcome too, they go above and beyond. It is our favourite place to go. The cafe is a really lovely friendly place and cosy too.

Been coming here ever since it opened and I’ve never been disappointed. The decor is amazing and the quality of food is the best around. I love the new menu, it’s got variety compared to before. Would highly recommend!

So I once loved this place, it started getting worse and worse things missing out of orders food being delivered cold and incomplete I thought after a few months I would give it a go hoping it was just them finding what works, However not the case, and now they put their prices up which I really can not see how they justify it as I struggled to find any Mince beef in the shepherd's pie or the jacket potato with chilli con carni, the food is below average and well over priced. The staff may be lovely but the food isn't, which is a shame. If they could get back to how good they was when they first opened then I would gladly be one of their regular customers again.

Been here so often and it’s 10/10 every single time. Everything they have on the menu is top tier quality at very good prices for the portion sizes and just how nice it all is. Everything I’ve tried, I always like a lot! The employees are always very nice. If I ever want to show someone around the local area then this café is a must. I say confidently that you won’t be disappointed by this café whatsoever. I hope it stays around for a long time! I have absolutely no complaints.

Typical cafe menu but very well presented in a bistro style on the plate. The cafe have a warm welcoming feeling with a good design and atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable and we happily paid for what we've consumed. We will definitely go there again and we can highly recommend this place. Support local

Excellent cafe with extremely friendly and courteous staff. I had the Turkish Menemen which was absolutely epic. Fantastic portion, lovely warm buttered bread, chips, a nice salad what more could I ask for? I requested to make the Menemen spicy and they made it to my taste and it was sublime. Will definitely come back and be a regular. I ask others, if you want a Turkish slap up breakfast in Woodford, you must come here. It will remind you of the Med and you will be extremely pleased.

We visit here every day with friends and we absolutely love every dish at this place! The staff are very friendly, two very friendly waitresses and best chefs in town! Anyone willing to have the best service and great food, you're at the right place!

The food and service is always excellent. The Roast on Sunday is a must. The special Lunch each day is great value. As I Live alone it is ideal. I Visit twice a week on my day off and can’t fault Mr Bistro. The refurbishment was awesome. Well done to everyone and Thank you.

Not a 4.8 experience for us. We waited more than 30min to get our food; take-away customers coming and going, and others arriving after being served before us. I had to asked for our order and when we were finally served, my order was wrong (I could not be bothered to mention it). When one of the waitress asked how it was, I told her that my order had not been what I exactly asked for. She said "oh" and that was all. Clearly, they forgot our order and that is ok, these things happen, but they did not even apologies... needless to say that for us it was the first and the last time.

Staff is nice and polite but waiting time was ridiculously long and they kept the orders taking to the wrong people. They given me a panini instead of wrap then came back that it should have been someone else's but by then I started to eat it as due to the waiting time I just did not want to wait to start again and we agreed that the panini is fine. Until we were waiting I saw 2 other orders taken to the wrong person and then just served to the right person once mistake realised. So there is improvement needed for sure and some working organisation system for the staff. Overall the food was nice, the drinks and shake tasted good, hence I gave overall 3*. This was my first visit here and they apologised for the disorganisation and waiting time. Overall I had a good vibe on the place. Whether I would choose to go back I debate, but time will tell I guess.

I was coming here before when it was called The Royal Star Cafe and I loved it then but now it has changed name and has a new look it really is amazing. Such friendly staff, such lovely food and it looks so chic in there. What a lovely place to have on the doorstep. I am very impressed.
