we
have
been
going
here
for
several
years
since
my
daughter
was
little.
most
every
time
it
has
been
really
great.
unfortunately,
the
last
experience
was
pretty
bad.
Dr
Rossi
convinced
my
7
yo
that
the
next
time
she
would
return,
she
would
have
to
have
a
cavity
filling.
she
had
zero
cavities
this
last
visit;
bc
she
is
7
and
could
only
hear
the
doom
and
gloom
of
what
he
was
communicating.
She
began
crying
during
the
appointment.
I
had
to
reassure
her
and
try
to
calm
her
down.
Dr
Rossi
was
silent.
Didn't
back
me
up
to
help
reassure
a
distressed
child;
gave
no
comforting
words.
Allowed
her
to
just
continue
to
cry.
Maybe
so
that
i
as
the
mother
would
operate
out
of
emotion
and
go
ahead
&
do
the
procedure
he
wanted?
that
is
what
it
felt
like.
He
went
through
great
lengths
to
sell
a
procedure
to
me
(wouldn't
let
up
despite
me
giving
him
an
answer)
and
at
what
cost
?
A
child
that
is
now
afraid
to
go
back
to
the
dentist
again.
We
got
home
and
she
proceded
to
have
another
melt
down;
still
upset
from
the
appointment.
They
know
she
has
anxiety,
perhaps
higher
than
some
kids.
She
would
always
remind
ME
of
her
dentist
appointments,
because
she
always
loved
going
to
the
dentist
and
looked
forward
to
it
every
time;
never
ever
scared.
Now
that
has
all
changed
and
she
tells
me
she
does
not
want
to
go
anymore.
I
hope
Dr.
Rossi
does
not
allow
another
young
child
to
go
through
this
again.
This
last
appointment
was
a
1
star
and
i
felt
how
he
communicated
was
inappropriate
on
a
lot
of
levels
and
it
was
just
not
right.
I
am
being
nice,
giving
3
because
all
the
other
appointments
have
been
4
and
5
stars.
Fortunately,
shining
smiles
apologized
&
provided
us
a
resolution
when
i
called
to
communicate
the
issue.
I
just
hope
this
feedback
will
prevent
a
child
getting
the
"dentist
complex"
and
dental
appts
are
associated
w
positivity
vs.
fear
like
we
have
always
experienced
with
SS.
