👍👍 Comfortable space, warm considering it was below degrees outside. Lighting was very good & clean restrooms.

as a faculty of SXU, I get free access to the fitness center; I try to utilize it as much as my busy schedule will allow - I understand that SXU students also have free access; I know nothing about how much they charge non-SXU members 🤷🏼‍♂️ I've heard a couple of my students complain that it smells musty, but I don't smell it - but, it's a fitness center/gymnasium, not Bed, Bath, & Beyond 😂 I stand by my 5 star rating...oh, and I they have an elevated (2nd floor) track for walking, jogging, or running 🏃🏼 which is nice 👍🏼

For 30 years, the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts has hosted many live performances featuring world-class musicians and actors. Nilo Cruz, Henry Mancini, and Los Lobos are just some performers who have graced the stage at this beautiful venue. There are two theaters on site. The Robinson Theater is a larger venue, and the Studio Theater offers a more intimate environment. Besides performances, several cultural events are held throughout the year.

Graduation day, I've never been so happy for my daughter and her friends. The ceremony was very special to watch one graduate become a teacher right after she was done with school. St Xavier University it was well organized job well done to everyone who graduated

Out dated work out equipment and somewhat clean. Clean bathrooms. Only good thing about this gym is the separated running track on third floor. Otherwise pretty outdated gym, equipment is probably 10-20 years old. Not sure how much the monthly costs are since I do not pay but if its anywhere above 30 or above pee month, its probably not worth it when Moraine Valley has a brand new gym for 50 bucks a month and a pool/jacuzzi.

Saint Xavier Men's and Women's basketball is outstanding. The Shannon Center is a great place to watch a game. I highly recommend it.

Paid full price for a year membership. They do not post when their gym will be closed on their website. I walk in and the male employees either dont possess strong enough neck muscles to look up, or they just don't care about treating others with human decency. When I made very little money at the gym I found a way to be nice, or at the very least, say hello. Also, there is a sign that says everyone must check in. There is no one at the front desk so how do you expect me to do this as it happens so often? Others notice this issue as well and just walk right on in. Im assuming this is ok? Please, return my money or change your atmosphere/employee work ethic. Thank you

I take a chair yoga class in the St X athletic bldg. This is facilitated by a fantastic instructor who is well trained in the yogic arts. Donna leeds a mature (60 to 80+) group in an hour long journey of meditation and exercises to tone body and soul. The facility and staff are friendly and competent.

The gym is clean, the staff is friendly, and the sense of community makes you feel like a part of the family. No matter what the programmed workout is the coaches can help tailor or modify it to meet your needs.

Do not have established open gym ours for those who want to practice. Every time I go to play ball, there are team’s practicing which I don’t mind but they don’t have a time zone for open gym.

The Shannon Center is like a second home to me. This gym is affordable and has a very home like field to me. The community members are extremely nice to any new members. The students are awesome and are worth engaging with on a day to day basis.

The best gym atmosphere you can find, hands down. Great coaches and very welcoming members. All walks of life workout here and are all accepted with open arms.

Hi a Saint Xavier Student here! I've used the shannon center gym quite a couple times. The place is well kept and is free to the students. Although non-staff and non-students can pay for a gym membership, it is quite expensive and I would recommend going elsewhere. Place needs a pool.

Their lack equipment is a real downer. Only 4 treadmills and only two of which are good for running. However, you will often find walkers on those.
