Highly recommended. Food is creative and tasty. Can't speak to prices as we were guests at an event. The rooftop was rented out. Beautiful atmosphere. Very charming venue.

Out from the City and what a nice surprise to find fourteensixteen! Sea bass was very tender flaky with soft & sweet Brussels sprouts in cream sauce. Also has the Beet salad, Prosciutto & fig flatbread, I was hungry. House wines on tap very good. Attentive service, ground floor dining and restrooms accessible. Roof top dining now and sidewalk Patio planned for warm days ahead.

Rooftop views, fine dining, and colorful cocktails were the highlights of our meal at Fourteensixteen last night. I ordered two appetizers, the smoked trout and scallops. Their menu isn't that explanatory about how dishes are specifically prepared, but our waiter Tim made up for that. He made sure to tell me what the smoked trout was, mixed in mayonnaise and served with toast, saying how the menu doesn't describe it that way. I appreciated him clarifying that, but it still sounded delish, so I did still order it. The scallops (served with Lobster Polenta, Ham Hock, and Pork Belly) were tasty as well. My mother had the Green Circle Chicken main course and loved the flavorful lemon rosemary sauce so much. The half chicken is oven-roasted and pan-seared, served with asparagus. We shared a lemon bar with blueberries and pistachios for dessert. I love the lemon blueberry combination, and the pistachios gave it just an appealing amount of light crunch. I wasn't sure what the nut was and asked our server, and Tim was kind enough to check and report back. As he observed, we devoured the bar after both thinking we were too full for dessert! To drink, I first tried the Riveter from the Libations list, which was an elegant shade of rose served in a martini glass. Then, I ordered from the Q Mixers Highball menu, the Q Ginger Beer, which was refreshing with the pineapple. I was given the whole bottle of ginger beer to add to the glass as I drank it down! It was gorgeous weather for the rooftop despite the windy day, and everything was excellent from the food prep to the service, even their reservation system. I made reservations for the rooftop online via Google a couple days prior, and the day before our reservation, I received a text to confirm, followed by instructions for dining on the rooftop. Then, I received a text 30 minutes before our dinner time reminding me we were due there in a half hour. Quite the advanced system compared to some!

Visited for dinner on a Saturday. We had reservations and were seated quickly. There were plenty of open tables though. Service was great. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was average. The steak was cooked as requested but a little dry and wasn’t very flavorful. The scallops smelled delicious but also lacked the flavor we expected. Cocktails were just ok, I’ll stick to beer or wine if we return.

Ordered different appetizers, then the gnocchi and duck. Absolutely delicious! Service was impecable and friendly.

We had postponed Thanksgiving this year and didn't have a place to go. We drove to Lagrange in the hopes of getting a steak and found FourteenSixteen. They were only serving a Thanksgiving meal, they had already taken their last reservation but made room for us late comers. Everything had great flavor. We had a very good first time experience. We're going back soon.

Great ambience and such a friendly atmosphere. I have never been treated more kindly than I have at any other restaurant! Food was amazing and the service impeccable!

Awesome place, the host got us a bar side seat promptly. We did not have reservations and they were booked solid. Bar tender Louis was awesome and I had one of the best cocktails ever. The name was when in Rome and it had Serrano peppers and a fun tasty rim. If you‘re in the La Grange area check this place out.

This is our go-to restaurant when we want high-quality delicious food in the south west suburbs! I have never had a bad meal here! The menu changes seasonally, but you can never go wrong with the cheese board or flatbread! My husband personally swears by the burger! If you can, try to sit on the covered rooftop deck- it's heated in the colder months and feels super cozy!

At first I got a weird vibe when asked if the rooftop was available when greeted by what I think was a manager and hostess. They looked at us and each other, which was awkward and uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. The server was the one who made us feel welcome and comfortable. He recalled my in-laws dining in from the previous week and their order. He was knowledgeable of the menu and suggested a great substitute for the wine I wanted. Suggested awesome foods to try that he also liked and recommended the best desserts!

We hosted a party on 1416's rooftop and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, came out piping hot, and received rave reviews from the guests (especially the curds!). The service was great, and the rooftop made a beautiful casual chic setting between the greenery and lights. Andrew, the event lead, was very responsive and helped us select a great menu for the event. Overall I couldn't be happier and will definitely look to 1416 for future events!

Held my bridal shower here and the rooftop fit 36 people comfortably. Andrew the event coordinator was so great to work with and kept the party going on day of. Would highly recommend using the rooftop space for events! I got a ton of compliments on the food and drinks too.

We love it every time! The branzino, halibut, and steak all incredible. The desserts, especially the coconut, so good. The staff is always kind and makes incredible recommendations. Get the espresso martini!!

We enjoyed all the food. Oktoberfest sausage, schnitzel, and strudel were all excellent. Wellington, Halibut and chicken were solid dishes. Some cocktails were great others just ok. Decent wine selection. We will go back.

We had my niece's wedding shower at fourteensixteen last weekend. It was exceptional and everyone enjoyed the event. Jim and Elise made sure the shower planning and service were excellent. And the delicious food was the icing on the cake! For events or a great dinner I would highly, highly recommend "fourteensixteen". Thanks you Jim and Elise for making it a wonderful day for all of us!

This is a wonderful little gem in the perfect location. Wonderful menu, friendly staff, and great vibe. The wood-fired Prime Coulotte was amazing. It was seriously the most tender, melt in your mouth, steak I've ever had. My friend's walleye was also excellent. The greeter and our server were very nice, friendly, and attentive. Special kudos to the teenage staff that brought us water. He made eye contact, held a conversation with witty banter, and was so kind. The only thing that could have been better was the ramp flatbread. The presentation and flavor was excellent. However the crust was so rubbery that it was next to impossible to eat. A knife wouldn't even cut through it. Everything else was so great though, I'm thinking this must have been a one off. Overall everything was great and I will definitely be back with friends.

Stumbled upon this gem last Fall and look forward to every chance I get to come back! Bar is welcoming with great rotation of house cocktails and friendly staff to help you decide what's a good fit for your current mood or food selection. Food is always amazing. Whether it's a small plate or full meal, I've never been underwhelmed.

We were very excited to try this place out as we are seasonal menu restaurant lovers…. However, the chef clearly has a sweet tooth. The olive board was full of sweet sugary things which were just ok. On to the business, I ordered the beef short rib, the connective tissue hadn’t been cooked down enough so the “pull” was tough more than i would have expected. The short rib was atop a parsnip foam with potato’s stuffed into it which rendered the potato’s useless in my opinion, everything was one note “sweet” and the bottom of my short rib was not chard at all which is weird. My wife did enjoy her ravioli but she did note that it had a strange sweetness to it that she didn’t care for. Unfortunately we will not be back here for the food. Service was great and the interior is cute.

You should be imbarrassed about tuna/watermelon appetizer. The tuna was undetectable. Found it! Thought it was my baby fingernail. I almost walked into the kitchen and shared this embarrassing appetizer. But there wasn’t enough. Basically paid a fortune for watermelon from Costco. Shame on you

The staff here is amazing. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and professional. The restaurant looks great (incredibly clean, great ambiance) and so does the food. But, most of the food we ate was kind of tasteless. The chopped salad was perfection. The kids' chicken tenders were fine. But, that was it. We had the fried chicken, walleye, and burger and they all were either not seasoned AT ALL or dramatically under-seasoned. The accompanying "veggies" tasted a bit soggy (mushrooms/ramp and onions), like they may have been defrosted? The fries were insanely oversalted. But, were probably pretty good (crisp/tasty) otherwise. Really random, the water was ridiculously good. So, crisp and the temperature, just great. It wasn't a very busy night, so I'm not sure what the issue with the food was. But, dish after dish, after the salad, we were pretty disappointed. Tempted to go on a random weekday to see if it was just a blip.
