This
remains
one
of
very
few
playgrounds
around
here
that
still
has
a
fully
functioning
swing.
The
playground
is
surrounded
by
residential
areas
and
is
bordering
the
park
connector
and
the
river.
It
is
quite
shady
in
the
afternoon-evening
and
quite
popular
among
residents
near
and
far.
It
has
a
nice
small
area
for
u
to
park
your
bicycles.
Quite
a
distance
away
from
roads
so
u
feel
quite
safe
to
let
your
kids
have
a
run
around
with
minimal
supervision.
Besides
the
precious
swing,
it
also
has
the
multi
slide
in
the
middle,
a
see
saw,
and
a
bouncing
fire
engine.
The
latex
carpet
is
a
bit
worn
out
but
wasn't
so
bad.
Seriously
I
don't
know
what's
going
on
with
the
swings
in
all
the
playgrounds
around
dakota-mountbatten-geylang
area.
All
are
either
removed
or
cordoned
off
for
refurbishment.
It's
been
a
real
struggle
trying
to
find
a
functioning
one.
Do
bring
mosquito
patch
for
ur
kids.
Found
1
or
2
buzzing
around
but
it
is
not
as
bad
as
some
others
that
I
have
encountered
like
Katong
Park.
We
came
on
the
1st
day
of
phase
2
heightened
alert
so
we
were
pleasantly
surprised
that
they
didn't
close
this.
Let's
be
nice
and
maintain
safe
distancing
so
authorities
keep
this
open
for
longer.
