Only show favoursim towards competitive, talented and rich students. Will get you to go more competition for exposure. In order for you to get you more prepared, will ask you to go for fighter class, competition also need to pay coaching fees. Is it rlly better for you? Or better for his business? If you want leisure this is not for you. I was one of them who he showed favoursim towards, never understood why people want to leave such a "good" club.

My girl had been with Zen tkd coming to 5yrs. She is improving very well and getting 5 Gold medals till date for both Poomsae & Kyorugi. Most important is head coach Brian he wiling to train everyone by himself even when he is sick. Know him for many years, he really got the passion to teach everyone, never give up anyone.

My 5 year old son can be a handful but the coaches at Zen Academy have been very patient with him and i can see improvement in his behavior as well. Thanks Brian Sir and Alvin Sir! Not sure why there's so many 1 star in the review.. most probably fake reviews! They provide trial lessons too before you decide to join or not! so don't judge the club by reviews, try it yourself!

Don’t send your kids here. I withdrew my kid from this place some time ago because of all the unnecessary yelling. Why would I want my kid to continue here just to be yelled at in front of other kids? Yelling is a very outdated way of teaching kids. There are numerous studies showing how yelling can negatively affect a child’s psychological well-being and distort their sense of self-esteem in the long run. Google it if you don’t believe me. There are definitely much better coaches in other taekwondo academics.

Really surprised at the negative reviews. My daughter now 14 yo has been with Zen Academy for a few years and totally enjoys her training sessions. Coaches are genuine, nice and friendly culture and importantly, cultivates good values in kids. Take an example, students are to clean up, vacuum and mop after each session, which is great for today's kids.

I don’t know why people are saying Brian and Peh are not honest. They also say that the are kind in front of parents but not kids. They shout at them because they are trying to help them. If they are kind to them it won’t help them in the future. I have been here for over 6 years and yes sometimes they are mean but it pushes me to be a better.

Too much shouting to the kids and some equipment there isn’t very good quality. They teach quite good tho. Good place to practise taekwondo and maybe a place where they your child can learn to be disciplined if you can’t discipline them. Don’t send them there if you just want them to be disciplined tho
