😠 Putien Beehoon? More like Bland Beehoon. $5 Beehoon served blanched in hot water and doesn’t come with any taste to it. Not sure if the chef has a problem with the taste bud or…? People often mention taste, fried,

Amazing food at amazing prices. Really tastes just like Putian but at way lower prices. Always order the Lor Mee, its just spectacular tasting. Can be quite crowded during dinner time so either come earlier or later. Food comes relatively quickly anyway. Frequent this place often and the staff are very friendly too.

When ever I have this craving for Putian style cuisine I would always patronize FuZhen seafood at Blk 283 Bukit Batok. As they have that authentic Putian taste and affordable price. But, I guess the inflation had really hit them hard. I had ordered a Putian traditional braised noodle (卤面)and their famous deep fried yam cube. The braised noodle potion was good for 1 person and the noodle is very springy and has a very different as compare to other zhechar stall. The taste is still good especially when you add a bit of black vinegar. Savoury, natural sweetness and sour taste from the vinegar. The peanuts gave you a different level of taste. Still one of the best that I had tasted. The only issues I have is, the ingredients used is so pathetic. I found 2x lala, 2x small prawns. Pls see my picture. Vegetables used was also not alot and the pork belly was sliced so thin that you can hardly see. I just don't really understand why they want to cut their ingredients till this level. Reputation at state. That is why the 3 Star rating. The deep fried yam is super crunchy outside and soft inside. Paired with a sweet and sour sauce on the vegetable it gave the yam a refreshing taste. Nice. But it cost me S$10... Hahahah. Not cheap. Overall, I felt is a nice place for traditional and authentic food. Maybe just have to let the lady boss know to place more ingredients ah... Will pay for it ah.... Hahahah.

The food is good here depending what you order. Give their fried rice a pass and go for the Putien style noodles. Some people gave low rating because of the quantity of ingredients but they should really ask themselves whether they should have asked to pay more to 加料. Inflation is here and this stall still keeps its prices reasonable. If you are someone looking to eat more maybe add fish slices for maybe only $1.5

Ordered the fried bee hoon but is out of my expectation. I did tried once at Ubi coffee shop and was much wet & tasty compare to here. Find the beehoon is too dry, no taste and ingredients that provided also very little, it can't bring out the "real" putien standard. We have ordered the salted egg chicken, I don't find any special and it a bit too wet.

First time order and tasted a sour taste in hor fun. At first thought is the vinegar of the green chilli , but it’s for kids so there was no chilli. As we ate a few more mouth it still tasted sour. FYI, We scoop up from the container and didn’t stir the hor fun. We tried so many stalls and never came across/eaten hor fun that is spoil to this stage despite there is still tasted wok hey - Yucks! 🤮🤬 Now we only hope it won’t cause any stomach upset to our kids 😣

Tldr: tasteless While I appreciate the effort put into the dish, I must say that it didn't quite meet my expectations, tbh, it didn't meet any expectations at all. The flavors seemed to be very lacking and I personally didn't find it enjoyable. I understand that taste preferences can differ and others may enjoy it, but for me, it wasn't quite worth the cost, $5 for mostly flavorless carbs. Overall, I feel that they definitely needs improvement in the taste department.

Dabao salted fish fried rice but got 0 piece of salted fish, with a lot of imitation crab meat, very diff from usually salted fish fried rice. The rice also very mushy. Won't be back to purchase again
