They sell live crickets and other insects for your pets as well!

Walked past today and saw Syrian hamsters put in very small tanks in deplorable conditions. 2 that were put in the same tank were fighting aggressively so I immediately told the staff, but instead of separating them, he just took the whole tank away, just out of sight and returned 2 seconds later, seemingly just to "pacify" me. I believe when I leave he will just put the tank back. I will not recommend this pet shop for sale of animals. This shop does not care about the animal's welfare, and does not have sufficient knowledge trained staff to begin with. Plus, tank is wayyyy TOO small to house these poor hamsters! :( If anyone would like to buy hamsters, please buy responsibility from reputable and petshops or adopt. Please also read up on the minimum guidelines for keeping hamsters.

They do sell quite a variety of pets including hamsters, fishes, rabbits, turtles, frogs and others. Pet food can be found too. But the prices of the things here are getting expensive. I went to check and the poor hamsters are in absolute TINY cages! They were also together in one cage. In case you didn't know, hamsters all are solitary animals. They are not social towards other hamsters, even their siblings or family. They will not feel lonely and will fight with another hamster. They also need at least 6 inches of bedding (about 15cm) because they are burrowers. It is necessary for them to have space to burrow. They also need at least 450 square inches of floor space (approx. 3000cm^2). The tiny enclosure do not work for them. Hamsters are not cheap pets. No animal is a cheap pet. They all need care and love. Even though they are tiny, they are also little lives and we cannot mistreat them. Petsmart, i hope you see this. But for now, we should get hamsters and other animals from other more responsible pet shops or adoption centres.

In my opinion one of the best pet shop around Serangoon area. Staffs are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Pets range from the normal - hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits to the less common skinny pig, fat tail gerbils, gerbils, tree frogs & hermit crabs. In terms of pet food and accessories, you will probably be able to find all the things you need to setup your caging. Look out for one of the elderly auntie, she will be more than eager to assist you to make sure you get all you need, thumbs up for her efforts and ethusiasm towards her customers.

Just spoke to them over whatsapp couple days ago.Wanted to buy earth worms. 50g with 50 worms. Came here they dont have it and told me its 20g but dont know how many worms inside. Sales person long time out of stock already. Waste my trip.

Very grateful to Ben’s generosity and kindness in going beyond his work and helping us with the crickets. We had called him late and told him we needed crickets for our daughter’s show and tell. Although he was closed on Wednesdays he made surgical arrangements to help us so that we could collect the crickets on Wednesday morning. Appreciate it lots!

One of the two hermit crabs I purchased here died the following day in spite of my best efforts to provide proper husbandry. Make of that what you will, but I think it is likely the hermit crabs they sell here are not well taken care of, buy at your own risk.

Cannot get in and choose yourself the items because of Covid19 measures. Limited choice of food but varied sorts of pets. However, very pricey non food items. $38 for a low quality small sized dog bed that is not even 3cm thick and no specific brand.

Been a regular patron to this shop for almost 12 years now for items needed by my dog and res and hamster. My husband probably patronise this for even longer! It has everything and anything under the sun. Live fishes and other critters as well. The place i will go if i need to head to a bricks and mortar place for a live/see of something I need for my pet. There is a carpark just behind so its easy to park and grab your item. Multiple payments options available as well.

I got all my basic supplies for my two show Holland Lops from them and I'm so glad I did as I saved hundreds of dollars. They even did a same day delivery for me at $20. Wide selections of shampoos and amazingly the price are slightly cheaper compared to other pet stores I have visited near my neighbourhood. Spotted cute rabbits as I was browsing around the store. Can purchase online as well but need to pay for Grab delivery fees at $15, though there’s no minimum purchase order. That said, given current economy situation, I believe I would visit the store instead of purchasing online.
