Impressive staff and clean environment. Transportation is a bit of an issue since public transport don’t use that route but you should be fine with your private car or getting an Okada, taxis are also an option for means of transportation.. it’s quite a distance from the main road if you decide to walk .

Have you ever recieved great care at any government hospital in accra? If not, then please take a trip to the dodowa hospital when in ill health. The serene environment and no mosquitoe in wards will blow your mind as compared to some hospitals in the city. This place was built by the previous government under president Mahama and This amongst few hospitals that he constructed. The doctors and nurses are very professional and will attend to all your needs. Just make sure you have someone with you to aid you in purchasing of drugs and medicines needed for your care. Health insurance is accepted. There is a hostel available incase you need a place to stay if you live far at a fee. Doctors have a bangalore at the premises so any emergency will be attended to. There is a canteen incase you are famished.

Good place. Nicely planned and built. The wards are directly placed and the green environment is a big plus to the environment. The sewage treatment system is also very good but there must be the need of using the purified water for something meaningful rather than allowing it flow onto the drains. The can be an irrigation scheme just behind the hospital that will support with foodstuffs all seasons. Secondly, the medical village is a very good initiative.

SODH,is a world class hospital according to WHO standard, it has a unit where one can walk in and check up his medical status in most chronic conditions, this unit is known as the PBC unit,visit there and you will love it. There is also a community psychiatric unit where client with mental challenges can be well be attended to,and the staff there are so friendly to all

A very very well build and organised hospital of international standard. It has sections for accidents and emergency, a maternity ward, traditional medicine and a pediatric centre. They have a play ground for kids and a cafeteria which is reasonably priced.

State of the Art Hospital with prompt services from decisive employees. Employees are so concern about your appearance. Rich or poor, just check your dressing.

While the hospital itself looks nice on the outside and sure, on the inside as well, the experience provided is lackluster. The physician assistant I encountered on May 25, 2019 when I visited, exclaimed to a room full of patients that we should come to the hospital on weekdays instead of weekends because she’s the only doctor (physician assistant) there. How can anyone be so heartless? Do you really believe people in the hospital enjoy spending their weekends waiting in line for 2 to 3 hours just so they can be scolded by some unprofessional and immature physician assistant? Perhaps, the entire staff at the Shai-Osudoku district hospital will benefit from a much-needed extensive human resource training.

The best Government Hospital I've visited so far. It has Friendly staff, serene environment with fresh mountain breeze, clean and well designed and equipped edifice.

They took really good care of my mom when she had a surge in her blood pressure and almost had a stroke. They really are a well established health facility. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is their cumbersome system. It's a headache acquiring drugs and lab tests. Aside that I owe the staff a huge thanks
