I would rate my experience here 1/5. Made an appointment originally but I seemed to have wasted my time because when I arrived they were not even expecting me. No organization what so ever, the receptionist takes your details and directs you to the waiting room which is pretty much an “every man for themselves”situation because they do not call your name or have any type of order as to who is being seen next for consultation. I don’t even know the credentials of the consultant, she could’ve been a student or volunteer for all I know. She didn’t even introduce herself or greet me. She was very rude, did not do any teaching of the procedure what so ever but expected me to check the boxes of the consent confirming otherwise. I’m even questioning the instructions she gave me. The only good experience I had was with the receptionist who had a very calm and pleasant demeanor, otherwise everything else was unprofessional. Do better Marie stopes.

The receptionist was really nice and so was the person who performed the procedure and the lab tech but everyone else seem rude or as if they couldn’t be bothered. The place isn’t really sanitary as well as they have only three beds in the recovery room with no sterile overlay. Even when they’re not busy it seems they’re rushing to be done with you which makes it an unpleasant experience.

I was given a date to come for a review, I couldn't make it. I was then re-scheduled. Upon my arrival I was told they're closed meanwhile people were there being attended to, what really upset me was the fact that it's stated that they close at 4:00 pm on their website, I got there before 4:00pm (3:35pm) only to be told that they've closed. Such bad customer service. I traveled an hour to get there just to be told this, if there's been changes in your working hours, please update your website with those changes. This happened at the kokomlemle branch and their head office was bold enough to defend them.

You people are very unprofessional, how can someone comes and tell you she pregnant and you won't take a further to make test on the person and straight away put scissors in her and do what you want to do, and after doing all your professional acts then after two weeks, is when u want to run a scan and urine test to see if the person is not pregnant or not... Where did you learn this unprofessionalism... Poor you

It seem like everyone works here is designed to be rude and unkind, I arrived their but it happened that they closed but they first person I met just treated me like an animal, saying they open by 7 and closed by 8. I walked down to meet the older security man, he totally didn’t give me a chance to talk. And I know no one is going to take this seriously but it’s okay, I hope we can get better options as women someday. I’ll look for better place to go. Thanks

Marie Stopes is a great institution BUT this is what I have to say about the Kokomlele Branch: There's lack of privacy!!! The place for the scan and the tests (lab) is very small. Whiles you are inside to get your scan done, two other patients who are after you will be in the SAME room. Just that the screen is dividing you but you can HEAR everything and you can even look at the screen! Yes, the screen is visible!! That's very bad. My suggestion is that please Marie Stopes International, look for a bigger place to rent. It can't be that I'm in the same room with someone who is having her scan done! It can't be that I'm telling the lab technician that I want to test for cancer, and those around can hear me!! Please!! Look for a bigger place!! Santasi Branch is doing well. Get a bigger place. Even on the shelves, everything is stacked together. The place doesn't look sterile enough. But as I said, there services are good, they just need a better place to relocate to. Thank you

They provide a wide range of medical services, what I love is their excellent customer service and experienced doctors. Their way of checking a patient is very unique.
