Agoo
Hostel
is
pricey
by
Ghanaian
standards,
but
in
my
opinion,
it’s
well
worth
the
money
in
most
cases.
I’ve
stayed
on
two
separate
occasions
and
was
put
in
the
same
6-bed
female
dorm
room
both
times.
I
can’t
speak
for
other
rooms,
but
the
one
I
stayed
in
had
a
very
efficient
AC
unit
and
the
room
was
very
pleasantly
cool
in
temperature!
The
entire
building
is
kept
very
clean
and
the
linen
on
the
beds
is
bright
white
with
no
stains
visible.
Each
bed
rental
also
includes
a
towel
rental,
which
is
nice
for
those
who
are
traveling
light!
There
are
interesting
guests
from
around
the
world
like
there
are
in
most
hostels,
so
there’s
a
very
social
atmosphere
and
it’s
easy
to
make
friends.
The
included
breakfast
is
very
tasty—there
is
bread,
some
kind
of
banana
cake,
an
avocado
spread,
various
jams
and
jellies,
tea,
coffee,
Milo,
fresh
fruit,
yogurt,
and
granola.
There
is
a
restaurant
on
site
that
you
can
eat
at
and
you
simply
add
the
food
cost
to
your
room
bill,
which
is
very
convenient.
(I
can’t
comment
on
the
quality
of
the
food
because
I
haven’t
yet
eaten
there.)
I
found
most
of
the
staff
to
be
friendly
and
helpful.
One
snag
I
did
run
into,
though,
is
that
while
they
DO
take
credit
cards,
it
MUST
be
a
credit
card
that
has
a
PIN
number.
It
won’t
accept
a
card
that
needs
a
signature
like
most
American
credit
cards
do.
They
solved
this
problem
for
me
by
allowing
me
to
pay
through
PayPal
using
my
credit
card,
but
that
was
frustrating
because
that
made
me
pay
$2
extra.
Security
at
the
hostel
seems
good—the
front
gate
is
unlocked
and
anyone
can
come
in,
but
you
need
a
specific
electronic
key
card
to
access
each
room
and
there
are
plenty
of
lockers
to
store
your
valuables
in
while
you’re
there.
Overall,
Agoo
is
awesome
and
I’ll
definitely
stay
again!
