πŸ‘ Beautiful place. Take pictures. It's picturesque. While going there we saw very few people, deserted area. We thought of coming back because we parked our car and some kids took us there through a place where there was a graveyard. Boti fall is nearby to see, beautiful waterfall. There is also a pin... Beautiful place. Take pictures. It's picturesque. While going there we saw very few people, deserted area. We thought of coming back because we parked our car and some kids took us there through a place where there was a graveyard. Boti fall is nearby to see, beautiful waterfall. There is also a pine tree which has got 3 stems coming out, a unique tree. Nothing so special but one of a kind.

Pretty beautiful place to enjoy nature , but getting there is not that easy but it's worthy. I enjoyed myself going there and it was quite beautiful. Further, you will get the three headed palm tree and once you got back to the main place , you might have to go another way to get to the waterfalls. The scenery is wonderful, the view front he rock is something and you can notice how wonderful mother nature is.

Another attraction next to Boti Falls, it's a bit of a hike but definitely worth it. Many stories are told on the way. Be careful of your cologne/perfume because there are some bees.

Welcome to the Umbrella Rock. One of the main tourist attractions on Kroboland, Ghana west Africa. The mysterious rock is located in the Yilo Krobo Municipal(Eastern Region) close to the Koforidua Township. The umbrella rock is at same location as the Boti Falls. Therefore anyone who visits Boti Falls can also visit site of the rock and experience the mysteries of nature. The Umbrella Rock isn’t like the normal rocks we see every day on mountains and in valleys. The shape of the rock is a thing of beauty, with one large surface rock sitting comfortably on a very thin and small rock, forming an umbrella-like shape. About fifteen to twenty people can comfortably take shelter under the mysterious rock and will be protected from rainfall or sunshine.

I was disappointed I did not get to see the waterfall because it started raining. Thank you Andy for being caring and patient. This place is beautiful and wonderful. I hope to go back next year..

The rock and the view is beautiful and worth the trip no matter what. This should be 5 stars, but the amount of trash on the site really lessens the experience. Seriously people! If you bring waste, then take it back with you

To get to Umbrella Rock requires a crazy difficult hike which your guide will under represent the difficulty. Totally worth it in my opinion but very intense trail scaling up and down very rocky terrain

1st off NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. But, I am trying to give an honest star rating. It is not wheelchair accessible. You get to a point where a car can't go anymore then you get out and walk and the walk includes going over boulders, etc. You could probably do most of it with an ATV if you find one. There were kids selling water and snacks when we made it. It is beautiful, but I would not say it's an actual "tourist attraction" (that's the ONLY reason why I gave it 3 stars). It's more like a rock with beautiful scenery in the background for a good photo opportunity. But, there was no interesting info reveal or anything noteworthy. It is definitely walking with no place to rest. I am excited I took the journey because the village was nice to experience and the scenery was beautiful. The walk was maybe 15-20 min and it's uneven rocks and dirt.

A 45 minute hike through the bush from the entrance to the complex. Strenuous for the less fit but worth it at the end. The only complaint I have is I'm sure they can contribute some of their income towards keeping the path clean of litter. Wouldn't cost that much but would make a huge impact on their operations.

One of the best scenic tourist sites of Ghana. The hike to the umbrella rock and the palm tree is something I will never forget.

Local folks were helpful. Road leading to place is not in the best condition. Nothing much to see aside the umbrella rock.

The journey up was rough and not good for anyone with a bad heart or challenges with the legs.

Beautiful place but SOOOOO MUCH WASTE !!! Like everywhere on the path. That's clearly negatively impacting the experience. Can't the guides and their colleagues do something about it ? There are even big bins all the way ! ... Still, worth going up

I was a child when I heard about the rock but I had the chance to visit the place today. Am still wondering how this rock formed. Indeed nature is wonderful and beautiful. One thing I didn't like was the fact that the villagers were all over the place selling and the kids moving around the whole place. I think it will be better a place is created around there for them to do their selling so they can keep off the rock. It's a beautiful site to visit.

It's a rock shaped in an umbrella form from ages. It's looks so beautiful. The umbrella rock can hold about 400 on top and can contain 3 bedroom apartment on it.
