This place is a hidden gem in the village of Ripley. The cakes are delightful and rather more ish. The lunches are tasty. Inside it reminds me sort of a cute little village coffee shop where you would see the Hobbits. Low ceiling and beams,….. and comfy sofas with reading books. The only thing I don’t like is that they allow dogs inside, ….but if you like dogs then this place is the place to be. (I prefer cats.).

Fantastic place for cyclists to stop for a cup of coffee and a snack, or a full on brunch. Plenty of seats outside and 2 floors inside. There is a place to park bikes outside, too! Plenty of room all in all and no need to book in advance. Wide selection of cakes, pastries, scones and sandwiches, salads, what have you. Absolutely everything was delicious, and I loved your porridge. Thanks a lot, will definitely be back!

Really tasty food, sausage roll had so much flavour and a decent portion. The slice of cake is perfect to go with an Americano which also had a slow pour holding loads of taste notes

Decent range of drip coffee and well made wholesome hot food. Service is extremely fast, friendly and accommodating. A cyclists’ stop/spot for a big beverage cup and slice of cake. Dog friendly.

We have been coming here for brunch on and off for many years and it's always a treat. The coffee is always good and the food is always delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient. There is now much more outdoor seating but we still love the atmospheric upstairs room with the sofas (also worth noting that the upstairs has AC...).

Just had a coffee, no food. Coffee was good. The place was busy but not overcrowded. If you don't like dogs around you or where you're eating, this may not be the place for you. At least half a dozen dogs were present upstairs when we were there.

Pinnocks is a charming place with friendly staff. Great place for a tea/coffee and cake or baguette on a bike ride from Croydon. Stopped here with a group from my cycling club and all were really pleased with the place.

Lovely team and always feel welcomed. Drink selection is impressive and cakes/nibbles are always really tasty. Often very busy but always been able to sit somewhere. Lovely gem of a cafe.

Good food and prompt service , I thought reasonably priced for the area. Sat outside so unable to give 5 stars for atmosphere, as road was busy. I definitely would return.

Wonderful place for brunch! Just arrived from Canada. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long flight. Charming atmosphere. Comfortable couches and air conditioning! Delicious avocado toast and passion fruit smoothie. Would 10/10 recommend for your visit to Ripley!

This is the best coffee and food place in Woking. Their pancakes are especially good, haven’t found anywhere else that can rival. My one piece of advice to go during a time where it will be less busy as this place can get busy! Still a lovely relaxed vibe, in a lovely village.

We absolutely love this place. Whatever you have to eat always is fresh and taste great and the selection of coffee is awsome. Its a really funny little place you can just feel at home in with big sofa seating upstairs to chill and chat or more formal table and chair seating if that's what you prefer. Just love coming here.

We had coffee and sat in the comfortable lounge like upstairs section. Very cosy space. Very friendly staff. Nice place for a coffee, light meal or afternoon tea.

The coffee was amazing! Without a doubt the best coffee I’ve had in the UK. Filtered correctly and they ask what strength. Had a bacon and sausage sandwich with pancakes and it was banging. Great location and great atmosphere with very polite and welcoming staff

Lovely place, good service and food. Pity the garden wasn't open for some extra outdoor seating. Overall a nice spot to stop for a (pour over) coffee and something to eat.

Lovely cafe, we visit here often but today we visited as usual with our dog but decided to sit downstairs as I am currently 9 months pregnant. After ordering the food to have in we were told we weren't allowed to sit downstairs with the dog. I unfortunately cannot manage going up and down those steep stairs in my current condition so we were basically told to leave. We had our drinks poured into takeaway cups. Coats and scarfs back on and off we went. Shame really that as I can't physically get up the stairs at the moment I am unable to dine here with my dog.

Lovely setting and good food. Not quite sure about the coffee though. Asked for a flat white and was given a large plastic cup which tasted like milk. Asked for another, which came in smaller cup, but again no coffee flavour whatsoever. Quite disappointing, as I know they do not use an espresso machine, but the coffee has no flavour. Probably wouldn’t go again as coffee is one of the main things that I enjoy. Thanks

Love this quirky coffee shop - bags of atmosphere but worth noting it is all drip coffee so no espresso based coffees like cappuccino or lattes. But a wide choice of blends and homemade cake more than makes up for it. No dedicated parking but normally enough on the streets nearby.

What a lovely place. Delivery of tea in a good sized pot with proper china cups and saucers to the excellent sandwich. This place is like a return to just how things were and should be now. Delightful atmosphere. Will return.

A wonderful coffee shop and, to be honest, my favourite in Surrey! The food is excellent (the Pinnock's special club sandwich is lovely). There's different coffees, from light, medium and dark, plus various milks. Staff are super friendly too 😊 Only suggestion would be to add coconut milk as an alternative, but the coffee is really nice ☕👍

The road where this cafe is, is a little busy but we easily found parking. Inside the character and the old beams are stunning and give a wonderful atmosphere. There were lots of people coming and going, the menu was simple but offered a lot of choice and the quality of the food was also fantastic. Lots of cakes on offer which satisfied our little ones sweet tooth. The pour over coffee which they are known for is good but not to our preferred tastes.

Be at lemon cake I had, although I like it healthy without white sugars that causes cancer and other diseases, maybe replace it with pure honey not added white sugar or just natural brown sugar! Friendly faces, feels cosy and family atmosphere.

Wonderful cafe in an old Tudor building (mind your head if you go upstairs!). Good food and cakes. Have fun ordering your coffee! Start by choosing the coffee beans and go from there.

Lots of seating, great atmosphere! Sandwiches around £6.75, buy good quality and worth it for the comfortable seating and relaxed mood. Go upstairs for the best of the cosiness

I have been drinking coffee here for a while now with some of my Cycling friends. While they have a great range of cakes and they are delicious, we all find the coffee is a little pretentious and bitter to taste. Maybe it is just a personal preference, however when 5 or 6 people say the same thing then maybe it may be time to up your game? We will still come here for our coffee and cakes as we do like to support local business but remember there is a lot of very good local competition within metres.

Nice coffee, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will try food next time as it also looks very good.

Friendly staff and great food. The quaint shop certainly fits in with the historic location of Ripley. One star off because it was a bit pricey, but I'd still recommend a visit.

Really loved the smoothie here! Great place with friendly staff. Very enjoyable and a good stop for cyclists 🚴‍♀️

Excellent coffee and sausage role which was small maybe but very taste. It came even with a little salad. Order inside and wait outside and your order will be delivered to you. There is even a proper bike stand.

I really wanted to give this lovely cafe a 5 but if they cant make a proper latte than sorry... Granted "latte" was not on the menu (which should have been warning enough) but we asked if they could make and they said, "Sure!" Dont order! Stick to the traditional brewed coffee which was very good and have a very delicious slice of one of their many daily, homemade cakes. There is outdoor, first floor, and second floor seating with an old rustic England/Ottoman feel. Very much worth a stop. They also are following COVID guidelines admirably.

Have visited many times in the past. We had lunch today which included a ploughman's. The ploughman's consisted of a massive plate of salad leaves and coleslaw, two pieces of cheese a single tomatoe and half of a pinini. Not exactly a ploughman's. Disappointing and not value for money, have u had a change of management??

Five cups of coffee ordered. It was busy, but four of the five were served just luke warm after a very long wait. Asked for hot replacements. Same coffees returned to us after a visit to a microwave, BOILING hot, which killed the coffee, and no apology or refund offered. Food looked fabulous though.

Extremely nice place, cosy, great staff. Only complaint is the cafe allowing people to bring in dogs. Felt like we were in a kennel at one point with 3 dogs around us, making lots of noise. Want to eat and drink without dogs being around! At least, allow dogs only downstairs and allow the upstairs to be a dog-free zone! That would make this place perfect!

Stopped here for a drink stop on the way home from Dorset, been before last time in the area, well worth a visit in preference to others, good gf range. If you like builders tea make sure you mention it because they use leafs rather than Tbags.
