Heaven Scent is a nice, compact cafe serving a good range of savoury and sweet snacks. It has several picnic tables at the back with a bike rack. There is also a little toy, wooden kitchen gantry to keep kids amused - in the better weather of course. Table service is good and staff are friendly.

Has a wide range of breakfast and small dishes. Vegetarian & vegan options are marked on the menu - awesome! The outside area is nice and quiet.

Cake is delicious! Tea and coffee lovely, reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere and little gem in this small town. Staff were super friendly and very attentive! Love it and will be back soon! 😊 (update) Came here a third time and had the pancakes. The best I have EVER had without a doubt, warm and fluffy! Delicious😍 Update - milkshakes are delicious. They do a different speciality drink each month. Now a wide range of cakes and traybakes on offer, at least 6 of each! One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had also.

Always a great place for a catch up with a cuppa and cake or one of their lunch options. Breakfasts are pretty good too. Generally get a homemade soup and sandwich/panini with a slice of cake, of which all are delicious. Good choice of soft and hot drinks too. Even a courtyard at the rear for nice days

We dined in for the Galentine's afternoon tea, and it was brilliant! The biscoff latte came with a ❤️ latte art, which was cute! They definitely can pour a decent coffee, I saw others get different latte art too. Everything on our afternoon tea plates was well made, and we had a nice selection of everything. Highly recommend!

Our first visit and absolutely amazing food We sat outside with the jackdaws in the garden which was ideal as the weather was perfect. Had coronation chicken flatbread with a wonderful fresh salad and cous cous and a caramel shortbread. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend a visit 👍🏻❤️🍰

Sometimes you just hit lucky and today was one of those days. Tremendous café if you're in the area - great food and really friendly staff. Looked to be doing a roaring trade in afternoon teas, but be aware that, as it's good, it can be busy, so much so that one needs to pass by The Clipboard before one can be seated. You can take out if they're full; I have the cakes to prove it. Will very happily come back... Pro tip: parking directly outside is ... limited, but there's a free public car park 150m away...

Very popular but rather noisy cafe. Cheese and ham toastie very tasty indeed, lentil soup was the same tasty and thick too, the white hot chocolate was superb Service faultless. Unfortunately tho the vegetable broth was 90% barley (perhaps a wee mishap in the kitchen) but tbf it was swiftly removed from the bill

Incredible. Food is outstanding and the menu has all allergies clearly marked on all dishes. Plenty of choice, even for my lactose and gluten intolerance. Dog friendly. Excellent coffee.

Fantastic wee cafe. All the food that we have tried has been delicious, especially the cakes, each one that they do is worth the trip alone!

Coffee was tasty, but personally for me, just not hot enough.. Coleslaw, salad was tasty, a little disappointed with the bread, one slice was a little hard, like it had been left out for a while and £2.50 for those few bits of Chirizo was in my opinion a little steep for how much you got.. Great atmosphere though and a lovely place..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Heaven Scent with my partner and elderly parents for an afternoon tea experience, and I have to say, it was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming, with beautifully presented cakes and sandwiches quickly adorning our table. The highlight of the experience, however, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience. Every detail was carefully attended to, and our afternoon tea was presented to us with flair and elegance. The sandwiches were delicious and freshly made, with a variety of fillings that catered to all of our tastes. The cakes were simply divine, with a range of flavour's and textures that tantalised the taste buds. We were all thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. Overall, I would highly recommend Heaven Scent for anyone looking for a wonderful afternoon tea experience. The staff were fantastic, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will certainly be back again soon!

Afternoon tea was amazing. Quality delicious food, sandwiches, sausage rolls, lovely scones and cakes. Refillable hot drinks. Booked for 12.30, our table was ready. We were served by a really nice waiter who made sure everything was satisfactory. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly visit again.

Ordered afternoon tea for four to takeaway. There was a little confusion with our order but it was all sorted out very quickly and with no fuss. Food was excellent and very tasty - good selection of sandwiches, savoury and cakes/scones/tray bakes. Top marks for the food and for the customer service. Will definitely be back!

Always enjoy a visit to heaven scent. We stopped by for breakfast today. Luckily we got a table. Would recommend booking. Very welcoming attentive staff. Food was fast, fresh and very tasty. For the quality it is good value for money. We like it so much we even ordered tray bakes from here for our wedding cake last year. My compliments to the team. 10/10.

I'm always happy when there's an opportunity to pop into this great cafe. The staff are lovely and the food and surroundings are great. Lots of care taken over sourcing and thoughtful menu options. The toast with potato scone, black pudding and poached egg is a perfect brunch option.
