Wow, cake heaven! Great little cafe with excellent service.

Wife and I popped in today on chance as we saw the sign on our way back to Kellas. Very pleasantly surprised at this small but family run coffee shop. We were lucky to get a seat and delighted we did as quaint decor, prompt friendly service all added to the delicious lemon cake, excellent coffee and pot of tea we had. There's an extensive menu of cakes, sandwiches, soup etc etc. Definitely return and try some other things of the menu.

Beautiful cafe, nice atmosphere inside, sat outside in the sunshine. Brilliant moca-perfect temperature! Most coffee shops burn the milk , this was perfect ...cakes are huge ! Little gem in Monikie. Must visit !

Lovely little find. Especially loved the real sugar lumps and silver decorative cutlery and tea sets. Afternoon tea was lovely and so well presented, it couldn't have been improved. We were running late and had a disaster with getting lost and unable to find the cafe with two phones that had run out of charge. The staff were very understanding and charged our phone for us. Lovely place. We will be back. Thank you 😊

Wee cafe / tearoom in Monikie - if you in the area drop in and be surprised /Open Wednesday - Sunday Good wholesome fresh food-- lunch or just coffee and cake ( home baked ) Not expensive either

Lovely little gem of a cafe. Very friendly service and choice of cakes etc vast. Only problem it was very cold despite the wood burning stove which was light but seemed to only be for decorative purposes. I will however pop back on a warmer day.

A lovely coffee shop tucked away in Monikie. Very homely atmosphere. Very friendly staff and dogs welcome too. Only had coffee and scone but there is a fairly extensive menu which we will try soon. Very reasonable prices.

Such a lovely cosy place. The staff were so nice and so were the sandwiches, soup and cakes and coffee. Looking forward to going again.

What a great little cafe. We called in for a light lunch and it was lovely. The soup and sandwich came with a fresh salad and crisps, while the bacon roll and lemon and blueberry sponge cake were delicious; needless to say we’ll be back. Thank you.

We have used Sweet Nix on a weekly basis for many months. Today we went, as usual - on a Friday instead of our normal Thursday and while there were only two separate pairs of customers, we were refused a table as hadn't pre- booked! Two tables had reserved times on them, one for 12.30 and the other for 1.00 pm - we arrived prior to quarter to twelve and would certainly have been finished before these times. The third empty table that staff normally use was also empty but needed cleaned! We are very disappointed and feel you are losing many customers and money with your ethos of management!

A very warm welcome from the staff at Sweet Nix and our every need catered for right from the start. Service was top notch and will defo have a return visit. Had a crackin breakfast and a doggy bag filled with savoury home baked treats which were excellent and didn't last long. A very big thank you to everyone of you
