They greeted us with a tequila shot “on the house”, but when we received the bill, they charged them to us. The waiters were really nice and since we were the only ones, we were allowed to choose the music. That was nice tho. We thought we had come to early, so we figured we could just stay until 12 and then people would come. Whatsoever, no one came and they even closed at midnight. They charged us a tourism fee on the bill as well and told us to go down. In the lounge, we sat down. We just wanted to dance and have a good night. However, one waitress told us one table would cost 5000 Cedis. Since we spent all of our money on the tourism fee and the drinks, we left the club and went to a wonderful karaoke bar. In case you want to have a great night, go to the karaoke bar next to the Oxford street. That was way more fun!

The place is nice and my Indian friend and I went to the club last Saturday night around 2:30 a.m..(I'm a white woman). It was my first time and I've entered in without any trouble. Because it was fun, I called my best Ghanaian friend to come around and she came, but the STAFF at the entrance said that she should stay outside. Meanwhile all the white people behind her were able to enter without any trouble. She did nothing and nevertheless the STAFF was impolite. Even when I came out to explain that she is my friend and we want to have party together the STAFF didn't allowed her to enter! Their argument was that she is a new face.. and they have to call the boss... but I was a NEW face, too !!! After a discussion my best friend was able to enter inside but her mood was already bad because of the whole thing. I'm asking myself why noone of the STAFF members at the entrance had apologized for this unfriendly treatment. Without my help she wouldn't have been able to enter in your club. Is that fair?! I'm speechless. It was my last opportunity of clubbing with her before I went back to Germany and the entrance people have ended it like this. I really recommend to have a discussion about that situation. They have treaten my friend like trash and that's why we will never come back to this place.

The head security bouncer at the gate is a rasist and so unprofessional that makes foreigners feel uncomfortable...the head management attention is highly required.

Twist has always been my best nightclub when I am in Ghana. They have the space so one doesn't feel claustrophobic, the DJ is excellent plays a variety of music, a bit inclined to African songs but heyyyy.... we are in Africa. The bouncers are very good, especially FM, courteous yet professional, thank goodness not overly familiar. Prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for... quality!!! I've been a die hard fan of Twist from 2017, so yeahhhhh....

I wouldn’t recommend this club at all… the bouncers are very disrespectful and very aggressive( based on recent assault case). If you wanna have good time in Accra this December there are many other clubs in Ghana but I wouldn’t recommend this one.

This place wasn’t it! Came on a Friday night at around midnight and the place was very empty. It was a very strange atmosphere… Some scantily clad women were provocatively dancing and basically doing way too much for the music that was playing. I think that perhaps they were paid to be there. The AC was way too cold, felt like the arctic. People were also smoking shisha and other stuff inside. As soon as I went in I wanted to leave. When we left, one of the guys said they were just getting started. It was passed midnight! Didn’t feel classy at all. Would not recommend.

this was so underwhelming and overly disappointing. waiter had no pad and pen to take our orders. had to come back more than 3 times to clarify our order. one drink came and I had to wait more than 20 minutes for a drink that was ⅔ ice. and I finished in one sip. chicken skewers came in a bowl. no plate. no tray. no serviettes. no hand sanitizer. absolutely terrible service.

It can get super crowded at this place especially during the holidays. I’ve been fortunate to always have a seamless entry because you apparently need your fighting shoes on sometimes to get in 😂. Just find you a ‘bomber’ and you’ll have no issues getting in 😄😄

The best place i’v been for the first time, I lost my iPhone and other items and went home because I was tired of partying, I got home and realized I didn’t have my phone and items with me...it was 2 hours before I got home and I went back there to search for it... a waitress attended to me and I informed her about it within some few minutes my iPhone and items was brought to me. Wow, I was really surprised and happy not all the clubs will do that...keep it up 👍you’re the best, Twist Club. Thanks

Definitely overhyped but this is where most people want to go to party so it adds to the craze. If you want to make it past FM and his men(the bouncers), get there before 10pm.

Two waitresses scamming customers in Twist Night Club. Lastnight was giving a drinks menu ordered shot of rum and coke price 35 cedis. When it came to pay was told sorry old drinks menu the cost is 75 cedis which I paid. However, to my surprise the lady waiter was still showing the same drinks menu to customers when she had said its the old menu.. definitely something very suspicious.. please be careful.

Anyone giving less than five stars hasn't actually been to Twist. Their service, decor and ambiance is unmatched. I have been to Twist three times and every time my friends and enjoyed a phenomenal experience. Sure, not everyone gets to make it inside but when you do, you understand why people fight so hard to get in anyway. I will be back!

The plan was to spend eight thousand pounds Sterling before returning to London to celebrate 8 years since I had my cancer surgery. This was supposed to be my last night of champagne and celebrations. My Ghanaian friends recommended Twist - I had given £800 to each of my seven friends to buy their own drinks - but because they came from the inner city the security was scornful, ignorant and discriminatory. I’ve never been so embarrassed - it’s a night club that makes judgements about entrance based on the car that you drive and the smell of money. Firstly, the website stated that the venue opens at 8:30 but did not state that it’s the lounge only. We drove from East Legon to the club in Osu to be told the club does not open until midnight. We went around the corner to s lounge to wait it out. Later we returned at midnight to receive a cold and steely reception at the entrance. The security guards, not impressed that we were on foot, lied to us that it’s a members-only club.I asked why that hadn’t been on the website and he couldn’t say. Other patrons later arrived, asking if it was Twist (so obviously not members) and they were allowed in. My friends and I were clearly not wanted there, even though our dress code was identical to many who went in after we had arrived. Yet, many Africans continue to point an accusatory finger about prejudice at Europe. I think it’s more painful to meet discrimination from someone who looks just like me.
