What can i say.... The food here was absolutely delicious. The flavours, the textures. Just yum! Everything looked so nice was hard to choose. I had the Alma Bowl and couldnt rate it enough! My sister had a curry and that smelt and looked delicious. She enjoyed it too. Staff friendly and helpful Would highly recommend.

Great place to eat vegan food - you don't need to be a vegan to enjoy this amazing food. We all had different dishes and they were all well presented and tasted great. The menu is a good size for the place, giving you the option of a large meal or small bits. A good selection of drinks. A bit of a squeeze in some areas but the tables were clean and well presented. Friendly and happy staff. A must visit if you are in Soho. No on street parking as roads are narrow, Recommend booking as it is always busy 😁

What a wonderful lunch we had today. We opted for three small plates to start (because we couldn’t choose just two) and then a main each. We shared a carafe of rosé too. I have a food allergy and an intolerance and find it really hard to get vegan food that I can eat out. The staff were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was not just beautifully presented, not just super delicious and not just creative and inventive but also reasonably priced and served in the most welcoming environment. When you get your bill, there is a business card that has flower seeds encased in it and you can plant them when you get home! What an amazing place! One visit is not enough.

Did not have a very good experience with Mildreds. Was really looking forward to it since you always have to make a reservation for dinner. I went for a date and would not recommend this place for a romantic date night. The restaurant is incredibly crowded so you can hear the conversation of your neighbor as loudly as your date. I saw that they have much quieter seating upstairs and I was quite disappointed I didn't get that experience. The food was good, though a bit overpriced for the portion. In combination with the atmosphere I probably would not return again. It if I did it would be for lunch since other review photos seem much less busy.

An absolute must for anyone who eats a vegan diet! (Though I'm sure even meat eaters would love it here too!) We were so excited by all the options and wanted to try everything so we'll have to go back. The food we did order was absolutely wonderful and even the drinks were different and delicious. Can't wait for our next visit!

Trendy plant-based eatery in Soho with various tasty dishes. Came here on New Year’s Day shortly after they opened, expecting that they would have the brunch menu available, but unfortunately they did not (no worries as the regular menu looked good). When we first got there our waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, we said still, assuming it would be standard tap water; only later in the meal did we realize that they charged us for a bottle (we noticed that every other table had a different style bottle of water). We were never given the option for tap - we never order non-tap bottled water. For food we ordered the nachos to start (it was strongly suggested we get it with a side of guacamole). The nachos were good but the guac just ok, would not order that again. We also got the patatas bravas which were tasty, and the sausage sandwich which we thought was good, not great. We ordered the crème brûlée for dessert which was very tasty. We did not find our waitress to be super friendly or helpful; it seemed that their service was better for other tables. Other staff seemed to be friendly. Love that this is a vegan restaurant, but overall, considering the cost and our experience here, not sure we would come back when visiting London.

This is all-vegan restaurant consistently delivers wonderful food that keeps it bustling with patrons. Despite the crowds, the pleasant ambience adds to the dining experience. A must-visit for those seeking delectable vegan cuisine in a lively setting.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is quick. But we were so uncomfortable at our table. The place is really small and crammed full with tables and chairs. Each time a waiter was serving another table, they were hitting my chair. Not on purpose, they just had no space to move! To add to the fun, we were also next to the stairs leading to the toilets. So even more traffic! We really couldn't wait to leave.

Food is ok, it’s a good menu with a free different options and it was tasty. However the restaurant was packed, you could not even move between the tables and the light was so soft that I couldn’t even read the menu. I am not sure I would go back?

We usually get tired when we are traveling. And we feel want to get to good nutrition and fresh foods. We try to be vegan. Their vegan menu is tasty and makes me feel happy. I choose to salad for main dishes and my husband he chooses to vege sausage. Thank you so much for healthy lunch!

Just average…. Was expecting a much better experience from this restaurant but it didn’t really surprised us with the food and service. Plenty of nice options on menu but the presentation and plates are nothing special, like plates I can cook on my own at home. drinks never arrived and they were included in the bill at the end so annoyingly we had to ask to remove them. Atmosphere is nice and it would have a great potential but not sure I would go back..

I did not like this place at all! Extremely slow service! we had to sit in the cold for HOURS before they brought our food in! portions were very small! I had to go and buy something outside as I was still hungry (and I am a person who eats small portions and it was not enough for me even) Absolutely hated the experience! will never visit again! 1 star is only for the server! she was really nice and trying very hard so the star is just for her!

Such a refreshing change to find a menu that identifies non-vegan NV dishes instead of the few vegan dishes 👏👏👏 all the food we had was superb quality and arrived really quickly. Favourite dish was the chocolate and coconut babka.

Really impressed by the food and how tasty it was! I had the spinach gyoza and chicken skewers. Next time will need to order two portions!! The restaurant looks small on the outside but has plenty of space inside! Staff all wore masks and there were plastic screens to separate tables and it felt very safe dining here. The only downside to dining here was the availability of items on the menu :(. I do appreciate it was a Sunday and it’s a popular location but a lot of drinks and desserts were out of stock so we ordered coffee as our dessert. We initially ordered a passion colada and added a shot to make it an alcoholic drink and it was delicious. This was out of stock, the tonic was out of stock for the gin, the chocolate fudge cake was out of stock. Luckily the coffee wasn’t out of stock and that was great! Overall amazing experience and food would recommend going on a different date, possibly a week day or just earlier in the day. As the food and drinks are absolutely amazing.

The menu here only gets better. A lot of thought has gone into the balancing of flavours and textures in these dishes (drools while typing). I had the levant spice kebabs and highly recommend! The artichokes are also always a great starter and the staff know the menu very well. I'll be back soon

Hands down the best vegan food I had in London ever. This time I went the for breakfast shared the BLT and full English breakfast both super flavorful and afterwards we needed to get the coconut yogurt bread as well which was like biting in a cloud. The service was more then friendly and helpful and even tried to speak a bit of you mother tongue. Highly recommend when you‘re vegan and in London!!!

Delicious food but very small portions so not the greatest value for money! The coffee was also a little disappointing so I would recommend one of their signature juices or smoothies instead! Great atmosphere, aesthetic and staff, I would just definitely recommend adding a side or two to your main dish if you want a meal 🤍

I found Mildreds on HappyCow and I decided to pay it a visit for a breakfast. The place is very small but the food & service were really good. I had an avocado toast and an orange juice and both tasted great. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and prices are in line with other similar vegan places in London. It has been a very positive experience overall and I will definitely be back soon.

I treated myself to a brunch here while I was staying in London. The staff and restaurant were top notch— really cute decor and attentive staff. I ordered two items off the brunch menu: wild blueberry hotcakes and the Big Brunch. The blueberry hotcakes 🫐 were excellent, I just wish there was more blueberry compote— it was delicious. The chantilly cream wasn’t my favorite. The big brunch was a solid veg English Breakfast. The only part I didn’t like was the baked beans, it was like beans in tomato paste. Not good at all. The rest was great— sausage, tofu, roasted veg, and potatoes were great. It was a hearty portion too! Will be back, I can’t wait to try more items on the menu

The food we had was so full of mouthwatering flavour, that for once I was silent whilst eating, and so was my chatterbox friend. The atmosphere was buzzing which is so lovely to see a plant based restaurant thriving. When I'm back in London I'll definitely visit again. Top notch!

went here for date night and was blown away by the whole experience! the food was amazing and the ambiance was great. loved the peach daiquiri—all the cocktails looked so good. we got the harissa patatas bravas, the bokkeumbap, and the sesame tempeh soba to share for two and they all tasted amazing. our server, Anna, was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. we went on a monday night and it was still very crowded and the wait time for the food was longer than expected, but everything was worth the wait! i personally don’t usually like vegan food, but Mildred’s completely surpassed my expectations. make sure to stop by if you’re in soho!

Had our Xmas team lunch here, just 3 of us, me being the only vegan, so I wanted to pick somewhere my colleagues would experience wonderful vegan food. It was everything and more! The food was incredible, from presentation to flavor and texture. Stunning! I ordered spinach gyozas, batatas bravas, whipped feta, the curry, and passion fruit cheesecake. I enjoyed a mocktail too. Couldn't have been happier. It's all very cramped in there, but the food more than makes up for it. Treat yourself!

Seating too tightly packed to enjoy the ambience and we were in and out jn 25 mins- very noisy, shouty and crammed. Waiting staff oftern squeezing past and pushing the back of your chair due to lack of space. Service could be have been better- I was not told when arriving which items were not on the menu. Then I was told thst the brunch I wanted was not available but it turned out it was just too nosiy and the waiter hadn't heard correctly which one I was asking for. Toilets not well maintained- the toilet seat was loose and tap fitting also loose. We ordered yaki udon and shish tawook kebab. Noodles in the Yaki Udon were all broken up and the dish was bland and uninteresting. There was barely any tempeh in it so apparently was jot very filling and the greens on the top were wilting. The shish was more flavoursome, but very small portions for 16.50. Overall not a nice lunch experience as the venue was not good. The food overall was acceptable, but not the usual Mildred's standard.

We had an amazing meal here, the food was incredible. I had the hoi sin duk burger and my husband had the sausage and sauerkraut (which was like a fancy hotdog but so much better!). To start we shared the nachos - these were so good, I definitely recommend adding the tomatillo guacamole as it’s so tasty. The nacho cheese sauce comes in a dish in the centre and we didn’t use it all with the nachos. We decided to save it to dip our fries in with our main meal. Despite feeling quite full we couldn’t resist dessert - I opted for the passion fruit cheesecake (it was soooo good, as was the accompanying black sesame tuille) and my husband chose the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream. An incredible restaurant with fantastic service and absolutely delicious vegan food 🌱

Amazing vegan food and a great selection of alcohol free drinks. Their desserts blew our mind - I couldn't believe how good the crème brulee was! They also sell a cookbook of their recipes so I'm excited to buy that and try and recreate this at home because the food was really impressive. So many flavours and the textures were spot on for everything. My alcohol free cocktail was really tasty too. Very tight seating though, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't like tight spaces and sitting quite close to others. Not a minus for me though.

Mildreds is an institution for a reason, excellent food and service in a lively atmosphere in the heart of Soho. I got a fabulous birthday gift from them through the mailing list and felt very special indeed. The food here is always next level fantastic. It changes seasonally, but there are a few staples ,white chocolate Tiramisu, for example, and no, you're definitely not too full to order it. They always have a great variety of dishes, making it the perfect place for get togethers. I particularly like all their chickn dishes like the Korean burger and kebabs. All around just a fabulous place to go for any occasion and any time of day

C enjoyably vegan brunch! The breakfast could have used some bread for texture as everything else was quite 'soft'. French toast was small but priced accordingly. Overall great!

Had dinner at Mildred's last Saturday evening for a friend's birthday (who is veggie). The restaurant was super busy, lots of great atmosphere and people were having a great time. We chose to share starters and mains. The food was all tasty - especially the houmous with chickpeas and the gyoza, but just not enough for me to give it 5 out of 5. Nice spot to have dinner in London, with super attentive staff.

Came here for my partner's birthday in January. Food was exceptional and service matched this. Our server, Kush, was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were happy even though the place was packed with other customers. I would recommend the nachos, they have been great every time we've been. Everything else on the menu will also be amazing I'm sure.

We have been frequenting the various Mildred’s restaurants over the past ten years in London and this has consistently proven to be the best. This time we had the Harissa Patatas Bravas for starters, the Tempeh Mushroom Yaki Udon and the Chicken Shish Tawook Kebab for mains, and Chocolate Ganache Layer Cake for dessert. The mains in particular were so delicious and well presented, a perfectly balanced blend of flavours. The red Italian wine went especially well with this culinary experience. The waitress Lorissa was very professional and anticipated needs in a well timed but unobtrusive manner. The ambiance was lovely and pricing was very good too.

An instant favorite. This spot is busy yet cozy, our server was very conscientious and he made a couple great recommendations. Of course, the food was also a big hit! As a group, we tried a lot of the menu. The Korean "chicken" burger was my favorite, but it was all very good. Only criticism is that the "udon noodles" were much more like pasta than udon.

  • 4/5 Wei H. 3 weeks ago on Google • 18 reviews New
My husband is a meat lover but he still loves it! The seating area was a bit tight and hard to get out without affecting the next table if you need to use the toilet during the dining. And it’d be better to make the room lighter as it’s a shame not being able to visually enjoy the food especially they are so colourful and beautiful, also I saw other customers turned the torch on by using their phone cause obviously they were really struggling to see the menu. Food wise, we absolutely adored the caramelised leek cream for the wild mushroom tortelloni but sadly the pastry was slightly undercooked and the filling was a bit too salty to taste the mushroom. Spinach Gyoza was great, daikon pickle was spot on! The flavour of the Tempeh mushroom Taki udon was great, just a bit weird that the noodle wasn’t udon but the wheat noodle and was a bit overcooked so too soft as I prefer a nice, chewy texture for fried noodle. Salt & pepper shimeji mushroom’s batter was cold and hard, tasteless, and felt like it was cooked long time ago then left it on the side to be used. Some of the tempeh stuck together and had the unpleasant taste. The best dish of the night defo goes to Kiri hodi! Every ingredients seemed random but they will bring the awesome flavour explosion to you! It worked perfectly and the aroma was just incredible. Service was excellent, thanks for all the staffs that helped my husband to prepare the surprise little birthday cake 😂 As I was wondering why didn’t they give me the dessert menu and I even tried to make eye contact but the gent just walked away lol Great time, good food and we’ll definitely come back for another tryout 🌿 Thank you so much!

Lovely little vegan cafe/ restaurant in Soho. Pretty outside and cosy inside. Staff were super super friendly and we enjoyed mingling with them. Food was good. Tasty and yummy and this is coming from a non vegan person. I would say the halloumi burger could have been hotter. But I loved it all. Fresh, tasty and yummy

Good food, the Christmas burger was divine, the cranberry and Ali-Oli really work well together as dipping sauces for chips. A nice sizeable portion too (which is always good as veggie options are all too often small and low calorie which don’t leave me satisfied). Would definitely return to try other things on the menu.

A small place in SOHO that serves up delicious vegetarian dishes. On a Saturday it was super crowded and we had to wait for 30 minutes for 2 people. I went to Mildreds for a birthday treat as they are one of my favourite restaurants for a beautiful fresh plant based meal out with vegan and vegetarian choice. The food was incredible as usual and I had a lush tofu dish followed by truffles. I remarked to staff that it was my 50 th birthday and on the way out I was given a Mildred’s Vegan cookbook as a gift. Thank you Mildreds!

This was listed as one of the best vegetarian restaurant in Oxford circus. We reached just before the last order around 10 PM, although it closes at 11 PM. Ambience was dim and dark. Ordered Buraki Burger with Sweet Potato fries, Mushroom and Tofu Pho broth bowl and Grilled Pita. We overlooked that Mushroom and Tofu bowl was a broth and ordered thinking it would be dry bowl with stir fried noodles. It was boiled noodles and a soupy bowl of fried tofu and mushroom. It was terrible in taste for us. There were big chunks of veggies and even mint. The burger was average in taste with just beetroot patty and onion. Sweet potato fries were a bit oily and burnt. Grilled pita was just grilled and burnt from sides (Nit served with anything). The service was quick and staff was friendly. They charge optional 12.5% service charge. We may not visit again as the food is not great and prices are high.

Fabulous place! Just loved the food and the friendly people. Environment was good my only complain is that the tables were stuck too close together so not ideal for a date or private lunch. Amazing flavours tho. Even my boyfriend who is definitely not a vegetarian thoroughly enjoyed it so... Well done guys

Nice place but was very surprised, as i heard they had nice vegan chicken burgers on the menu and was going in under impression that will be served chicken that never ate any meat, as i am petrified of the thought that those animals used to be dinosaurs, and just a thought that they could eat meat sends chills down my spine, however instead I was presented with chicken substitute for vegans... it wasn't bad thou I was just surprised

Judging by the queue of people this restaurant is no secret. Luckily we had booked having tried to get a table a few months ago on spec without success. We were taken inside and the restaurant opens up with each room in the house seeming to offer tables. We had a table in a small room upstairs. Service was excellent with the young waiter taking our orders and delivering drinks then our food with pleasant engagement and efficiency. The food was really excellent. We shared banana blossom tacos to starts then I had a poke bowl with seitan and my wife had the kebabs. All vegan, all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was one of those meals that when you finished you wish you hadn’t! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough definitely for vegans and if you’re not then you should anyway as it’s just great food! Value for money, great service!

Really great place and the most amazing food! Staff were lovely too! Second time I've been, this time for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

As a meat eater, it's not often you find a veggie/vegan spot that leaves you feeling you could leave the flesh behind and convert to a herbivorian life.. but Mildred's did it for me. Such a great weekend brunch menu. Fresh daal and paratha. Roasted Tomatoes and tofu scramble. So good. So so good. Got the toast with smashed avocado as well. Enjoyed it so much .. We went back a couple of days later and got their tempeh bacon and avocado breakfast dish. (Can't remember the full details but loved it. If I lived in London if probably eat here a lot.

Really 5 stars for the Fantasy. Food was tasty, l liked especially the tempeh poke bowl. Hummus and Amba really good, the only “downside” of it was the pitta bread, which l think it was the only “ok” thing in the whole experience which was great. Staff really attentive, they really did care.

Have only been there once but for what I have tried I really like this place. Food is tasteful and colourful. Very light and digestible, you feel good when you go out of there! The staff is also friendly and the atmosphere is cousy. Super good prices for the location it is in. Recommend to vegans, vegetarians and anyone else really.

2* for ambiance, 2.5 to max 3* for the taste of the food. Food quality was perfectly fine.. Just the taste wasnt great. 5* for the amazingggg service by Christos who was not only super helpful, efficient, and friendly but also was super fun and very talented. I think our experience wouldn't have been as nice and cheerful if it wasn't for his outstanding service!!!! Things I tried: Beef burger - Burnt patty that did not taste nice at all Chocolate cake - Rastewise out of this world. Definitely one of the best cakes I've had, though the size was too small, therefore not value for money Lamb kefte - Just average. If it was half the price, then I'd say amazing Coconut something curry - Amazing. If I ever come again, I'd have it. Ambiance - was too small and crowded.. Lighting wasn't the nicest. Overall not bad. Customer service by the waiters was really good. Staff had absolutely no ego, were friendly, helpful and very attentive.

«C’est gourmand» said my friend Marine as she slowly savored the decadently tasty caramel cheese cake. We struggled to find the English word equivalent. It means it’s tasty, rich without being heavy, and makes you want to come back for more, always yearning for the next bite. Mildreds gives you all these things at once. It’s a vegan place that doesn’t taste healthy, and what’s even better it’s got great vibes, friendly service, and this “in” feeling that caresses you as you enter. Some great food highlights: - Spinach Gyoza: this little bite of heaven combines great spices, a tender interior, and a sophisticated tamari dip to add to the delicateness of the gyoza. - Bokkeumbap: what an extraordinary dish with the right mix of spices, warmth, and textures. The tofu bites were very crispy and juicy and combined really well with the kimchi fried rice - Caramel cheese case: much lighter than the traditional dairy based cheese case, this dessert is an excellent way to end a meal. The fluffy caramel mixes so well with the crust that you find yourself want to prolong the tasting, but at the same time want to just inhale it.

Delicious! I'm not vegan and I enjoyed everything I tried. I got the ChickN kebab which was very good and well seasoned. I wasn't the biggest fan of the vegan creamy sauce but that was minor. The cauliflower starter was lovely and the potato side was amazing.

overall delicious. The presentation was very satisfying. The waiters were immediately interested. The environment is very comfortable and calm. It's not a noisy place. I think there is also an upper floor. 90 percent of those who came to the restaurant were women. I think this gives us some general information. I hope veganism spreads all over the world.

Did you go Veganuary? After a team meeting, we decided to have a vegan lunch for Veganuary. My colleague tried @mildredsrestaurants serving international plant based foods. Mildreds 📍 45 Lexington St, Carnaby, London W1F 9AN WHAT WE GOT 🥟Spinach Gyoza 🧅Roman Artichokes 🌮Al Pastor Portobello 🫓Plum Tofu Gua Bao* 🌭Katsu Hot Dog* 🍜White Miso Broth* *Veganuary menu Roman Artichokes included panelle & herb cream. The artichoke was perfectly roasted and panelle was flavourful. Al Pastor Portobello was taco with mushrooms, jalapeño sour cream & pickled red onion. It’s a wonderful combination. Love the starters🥰🥰🥰 @mildredsrestaurants is offering a special menu for Veganuary. So we ordered all the mains from the menu for trial. Gau Bao had a deep fried tofu with five spiced red plum sauce sesame & miso mayo while Hot Dog included a meat free hot dog and came with a bowl of curry sauce. My colleagues said they were average good but not as wonderful as the starters😅 Initially I expected White Miso Broth would be a soup noodle but actually it liked Lo Mein😅 It included chilli bean club tempeh and shiitake. The noodles were soft and it’s full of beans. I didn’t taste miso but it’s rich and flavourful. 🥰🥰🥰 How’s the gyoza? See my next post on Instagram @ccgyozalover for details 🤗 After Christmas and New Year, most of us should gained some weight with tasty festive foods. Veganuary is good for us to clean up our body to welcome more tasty foods in a year. 😁

Rocked up having eaten at the other one a few years back, discovered that the menu seemed somewhat pared down and panicked I had bigged it up too much to my partner. Soon resolved that issue by ordering everything on the menu and absolutely stuffing our grubby little faces. We won! Great meal. On the pricier end of a lot of nice places we ate on this trip.

Absolutely delicious! We had a great spontaneous lunch here recently and were so happy with our choice, at some point I hope to buy their cookbook, as the dishes we ate were lovely and the staff friendly.

Went for Valentine's meal and it was absolutely delicious. Menu had lots of interesting options, all plant based, and the burgers we had were amazing. The only downside was how busy it was. We waited 20 mins for our table despite booking and waiting quite a while for service (staff were lovely but rushed off their feet). You only get 1.5 hours for your table so it all felt a bit rushed but that may have been the occasion.

Great food and showcases vegan dishes at their best. Good portions. Quite pricey for what it is so wouldn't be visiting too often and a little cramped inside. A great experience nonetheless and my under 10s loved it so a win here.

Went for a late dinner and it was the first time going since it converted to being fully vegan. The menu is extensive and the choice is hard to make! We were both not disappointed tho, the food was incredible! Well flavoured and good portion sizes and the service was good considering how busy it was. Only downsides were that where we sat there was a strong cold breeze and it was really loud. Can’t wait to go back and try the other items.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a coffee. We had two starters a veggie gyoza and spinach pancake balls. Both were surprisingly rich and flavourful. We’ll definitely come back here for a lunch or dinner! Staff is super friendly, and know what they’re doing!

Fantastic lunch, one of the tastiest I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere, food and staff was great. The menu is vegan, but it doesn’t disappoint. I really recommend the Mango Kebab. The service was a little slow when trying to get the bill and we had to walk up to get it. But otherwise it was super.

My team and I opted for the 2 course meal for £35pp, which was incredibly filling! The cauliflower cheese mac baubles were scrumptious! For me, the golden plum ketchup didn’t need to be on the plate as it was a bit too fruity to go with the cheese. The vegan roast turkey roll with butternut chestnut stuffing, roast vegetables, cranberry apple relish, gravy was amazing. The roast potatoes were seasoned to perfection and also crispy, golden and fluffy on the inside. Would recommend! Service was also seamless!

Oh what a delicious Christmas Eve dinner we had! Kristo who served us is such a knowledgeable and honest guy who helped us with recommendations. He was so polite that we enjoyed being served by him. This place is cosy and serves one of the best vegan foods. We hear the ingredients are locally sourced and home made recipes which can be felt in the way they taste. The staff are pretty laid back and friendly chaps. The wine options are nice and so are the small plates. Particular mention to the Korean chicken burger. Sadly due to the thundering amount of pudding we had earlier, we couldn’t try any of their lovely desserts. Definitely do try if you are around!

Came here for a Valentine's meal and was not disappointed! We started with Olives and the Sweet Potato Tortellini, both of which were absolutely delicious. In a bigger portion the Tortellini would be an amazing main. For our mains we had the Nashville Hot Burger and the Fennel Sausages with Mash. The sausage main was delicious and had some of the nicest cabbage I have tasted. It was sweet and smokey adding a different texture to the dish, a lovely surprise. On a critical note, I felt the Nashville hot had really good 'Chicken' and the chips were delicious but it was not spicy enough. Usually you would expect a hot sauce type flavour but it tasted more like mayo than anything, just would prefer more sauce in future. Our desserts were absolutely amazing, the dark chocolate pudding was to die for - would definitely recommend. I loved the white chocolate tiramasu, the white chocolate twist worked really well. The service was excellent and although we had a prolonged wait for our main to be served, the staff were apologetic and kept us informed. Overall experience was excellent and the price point was very reasonable. Definitely recommend to those who haven't tried it yet 😊

We loved everything about Mildred’s! Fantastic service and delicious food. We have been to other locations, but we love visiting this location in SoHo. We recommend making a reservation. They are usually packed at meals times. We ordered the new Italian appetizer platter and it was great. I ordered the mango “chicken” kabob and it was perfect. My daughter ordered the polenta and sausage and loved hers. Our waiter recommended the Passion Fruit Margarita and I enjoyed it. Always great. Every time I’m in London I try to have a meal at one of their restaurants. Love. Love. Love.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday with a friend. The restaurant had a lovely setting and atmosphere. We were impressed by the range of options available to choose from both the brunch and lunch menus. We shared the almuerzo brunch and the banana butterscotch pancakes. Both were tasty and I would especially recommend the pancakes. Other tables had lunch main dishes and they looked good too. Will definitely be coming back! Recommend booking online, especially on the weekends, although they I think they do take walk-ins too.

  • 5/5 Carole M. 9 months ago on Google
We were in for a late Sunday tea and were not disappointed. Waiter Peter from Austria was awesome, leading us through the menu, drinks choices and specials. We all had a weekly cocktail special - violet and lavender vodka spritz or something. They were to die for and in return a tree will be planted somewhere on the planet! The starters and mains we chose were all gorgeous and left no room for pudding. We will definitely return and will look out for our special waiter too! Probably would prefer the more bustle atmosphere downstairs in preference to being upstairs and quieter, but it’s not a criticism or too important. Big recommend from all 5 of us.

  • 5/5 Lizzie B. 10 months ago on Google
Very nice brunch spot with fantastic veggie and vegan options. Very accommodating to allergies with menu information, although noting they don't have separate preparation areas in the kitchen so cross contamination is possible. We sat upstairs and the atmosphere was very nice and peaceful with the big windows open on a lovely sunny day.

Really good experimental vegan food that tastes phenomenal. Bit expensive but worth the treat. I had the aubergine sambol with urid dhal and my friend had the tofu with kimchi rice which had the right amount of spice. They change the menu regularly. The five layer chocolate cake and ice cream was divine. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Have been to the Camden one previously many times and always so impressed. A bit disappointed with this one as we had to wait a very long time for food. We arrived for our booking at 1:45pm and didn’t even get our orders taken (even drinks) until well gone 2pm. Then took about over half an hour for our starters to come and then after that another hour on top for our mains to come (with one item wrong which needed resolving). This meant we were late for our next booking which caused a lot of stress. I don’t blame the servers as they were very apologetic and were clearly very busy. It did feel quite cramped inside, trying to fit lots of tables into a very small space which probably led to the struggles with getting served and food coming out. The food was incredibly tasty and well worth the wait and the cocktails were lovely. Overall I would go again but definitely would allow myself plenty of time between bookings so that any delays don’t cause any stress.

  • 4/5 Daniel C. 8 months ago on Google
The food was great and the staff are fab - it was super busy and the atmosphere was a bit too loud for us to have a conversation with friends so we ate quickly and headed off for a beer. Definitely a top restaurant for vegan food!

Incredible dinner and dessert, as always at every location. Some of the best, most creative, flavorful, while also filling and reasonable food in London. Also great service. Got amba chick’n* kebabs, bokkeumbap, and grilled artichoke caesar -- all great. Got creme brule, tiramisu, and chocolate cake -- insanely good, definitely recommend all 3.

I wanna say more great things about this place, but the ambiance was just off. It was so terribly noisy inside the restaurant during dinner time. My partner and I didn’t have a conversation because of the noise. We didn’t want to add to the already very loud atmosphere. Food is good. Service was very good.

Mildreds is a staple of the London Vegan Scene. I can't believe I’m only writing a review of it now We went to the branch in Soho before watching Les Mis and decided to just share a few of the small plates instead of having a big plate and some starters, as we would normally do. You get to try a lot more things this way, and their small plates are delicious! Honestly, there wasn't anything we ate that I wouldn't order again, but there were definitely a couple of standouts that I hope they never take off the menu. Topping the list is their Sweet Potato Leek Tortelloni, which comes with a lovely leek cream that is somehow both rich and smooth. Also amazing is their Whipped F'ta topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and oregano which is just perfect to dip their grilled pita on. There's still so much on their menu that I haven't tried. I absolutely must go again soon! 🏅 Overall: 9.5/10 🌱 Fully Vegan What we ate: 🥙 grilled pita 🥔 harissa patatas bravas 🧀 whipped f’ta 🌟 🍝 sweet potato leek tortelloni 🌟 🌮 chipotle cheez nachos ⭐️

Thank you to the lovely staff at Mildred’s who looked after our large party at the end of an absolutely packed Sunday lunch session. We ordered all the mezze (small dishes) then foraged our way through some of the larger dishes as shared plates. A very enjoyable and somewhat lazy lunch

  • 4/5 Alisa H. 4 months ago on Google
I went previously solely for dessert at Mildreds - it’s difficult to find vegan desserts, so I loved the wide range of quality vegan desserts. I went again at peak hours for mains, and service was slow but friendly. Food was great and I would suggest a burger which my friends liked but I wasn’t blown out of the park. Food is pricey for what it is. Overall if explicitly looking for a vegan restaurant I would recommend.

I walked in at noon on a Sunday and luckily they had a beautiful table available by the window for me. I’m a vegetarian, and was very excited to try Mildreds. I even took into consideration my proximity to this restaurant when I booked my hotel. 😂 Everything about this restaurant is beautiful. My waiter was so charming, and the food was out in less than five minutes. I ordered hot mint tea and the hoi sin duk bun which comes with Cajun salt & pepper fries. I added a side of aioli which was a perfect compliment. I gobbled this down and it was an otherworldly experience. So delicious I actually closed my eyes at points in sheer flavor ecstasy. The brunch options looked amazing, but I had a big breakfast early in the day… a mistake I won’t make next time I visit! Thank you to Mildred’s for a phenomenal lunch I won’t soon forget. See you in my food dreams. 😋
