Amazing vegan food made even better by the amazing service. This place is located in a great area, next to lots of shopping and the Hard Day’s Night Hotel. Highly recommended. Try the Hoi Sin Pancakes, the Popper burger and don’t miss the Banana Bread - phenomenal. Thanks! Can’t wait to revisit!

Gorgeous location and amazing food, I would definitely recommend Veggie Republic as one of the best vegan restaurants in Liverpool. Staff were very friendly and there is so much choice! It is tapas style with great desserts too.

I went to Veggie Republic with my friend on 8/11/2019, me being a massive foodie and my friend being vegetarian/vegan I wanted to give her a bigger variety of options she could pick from (opposed to 1 or 2 dishes you usually get at any other restaurant). The outside of this place has its signs but it doesn't scream to you. It is very subtle which can be a good and a bad thing. Upon arriving it's very cozy and the decor is very comforting. The customer service was astounding and I really appreciate we were allowed to get a booth seat even though there was only two of us. The hygiene of this place is very clean, there's a male and female toilets but you have to go downstairs (at first the lights may be off and may look abit like a horror movie but the lights are sensor-lights). I got a berry smoothie and my friend got a soy-latte, I can say if you love a subtle fruity flavour get the berry smoothie. The food we ordered were the Millionare Fries, Poutine Fries, Lasagne, and the Mushroom, Olive & parmesan Pizza. All the portions were MASSIVE so i'd advised to not order so much unless you're certain you'd be able to eat it all, it felt like even the fries could've filled me up on their own. Millionare Fries - The fries were amazing, you have crispy fluffy fries with the hint of the truffle oil and the parmesian. I really loved the fries and recommend this alot. I personally rate this a 5/5. Poutine Fries - This in its own is unique. I've personally had poutine (and love it) and i can say this veggie twist is really really good. I highly recommend this for any person who likes poutine or is a vegetarian I personally rate this a 4/5. lasagne - The lasagne is topped with a slice of garlic bread and side of .dressed veg. I can 100% that for this dish alone, the lasagne was not the star of it. I personally LOVED the garlic bread AND the vegetables (I rarely eat vegetables provided with my main unless it's exceptional) and I can say I wanted to finish off the vegetables opposed to the lasagne (not saying it's bad, but i think the vegetables on the side were better) I personally rate this a 4/5. Olive, Mushroom, & Parmesian Pizza - I personally don't like olives alone and it's the first time I've eaten it topped on a pizza. Paired with the truffle oil. I felt like the pizza gave off a slightly pungent smell, the taste was unique and first time I've had anything like that, if I had the choice I would personally not have the olives on top (as i'm not too keen on them) but flavour-wise the pizza was extraordinary. I personally give this a 4/5. Overall from customer service, to portion sizes, to value for money. This restaurant is really great and I would recommend here if you want to try something new or you want more choices for vegetarian/vegan food.

Strangely took me a while to get around to this place, and I’m certainly coming back for more. Located a stones throw from The Cavern and the famous Matthews Street, down some stairs and in to a semi basement. The kitchen is open and on display at the end of the restaurant. The dish I had was a delight. Spicy battered cauliflower florets with a delicious salad (I’m on a diet this month!) good selection of beer and friendly staff. My only complaint was the bowl I was served in was near impossible to eat out of. So deep! At least it slowed me down I guess. Toilets are located on a lower level, and those with physical disabilities may struggle. Over all, excellent.

This place is incredible! The variety of dishes on offer made it a difficult decision but we settled on 6 small plates to share between 2 people. The fact that all this food is vegan is very impressive. Special mention must go to the Moroccan meatballs and the gyro kebabs. A truly delicious affair which very friendly staff. If you’re in the area, vegan or not, you should eat here.

Been here twice now and well worth the trip to Liverpool on both occasions as they're tapas menu is like no other! You don't even have to be vegan to like this place!

Absolutely amazing choice of the finest vegan food. We had a few of the smaller dishes, tapas style. Every one of them was fantastic. Staff were great, place was lovely, and location is excellent. Would give six stars if I could

Fantastic food, great selection. Came here as a party of 7 found completely on the off chance. We couldn't get booked in anywhere and had resided to ordering takeaway back at our apartment until we walked past veggie Republic. 5 of the 7 in the group are veggie/vegan... Seemed perfect. I've recently only just become vegetarian and what a fantastic introduction to what can be achieved on a veggie menu. Tapas from 4 regions with a huge selection per area. The Hoisin 'duck' bao buns were amazing as well as the tavuk shish wrap and another in the group highly rated the gunpowder 'chicken' and salt and pepper tofu. Couple up the amazingly delicious food with polite and attentive service and you're in for a great meal. Price was completely reasonable too with us opting to have 3 dishes each and an alcoholic drink each. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Amazing vegan food and such lovely staff. A busy Saturday night understandable if it takes more than 20 minutes for our order to be ready which we didn't mind. Food is always worth the wait. Nice atmosphere.

Mmm, I'm not too sure about this one! I get what they're trying to do and it's great to have more veggie restaurants to choose from. Some meat-eaters still think of vegans as long-haired hippies with tie-dyed shirts and this restaurant is trying to break that myth. The service was great with a lovely soft spoken lady desperately trying to look after everyone all on her own. It was a bit odd seeing someone from the kitchen run downstairs with a plastic shopping bag at least three times whilst we were there. The food didn't wow me, unfortunately. It reminded me of pub food but more expensive. We had the lasagne which was alright and a decent portion. The Jungle "Chiang Mai" Curry was average. Nice and spicy, but missing the wow factor (I've been spoilt by eating curries in Chiang Mai and nothing compares with the "real" stuff). The hummus starter was a decent size and we definitely over-ordered and didn't finish the starter which was also a bit on the pricey side. From what I understand, it's a fairly new restaurant so they deserve a chance! Although it's vegan food, there were too many fried options for me, which is fine for anyone who loves that kind of food.

The BEST vegan tapas I've had in my life! There were also numerous gluten free options, so we were really spoiled for choice. The food was delicious and in good quantity. The price was very affordable compared to the high quality of food.

We booked online to have lunch and no one answered so we decided to go personally there at that time. Once there the restaurant was empty so there were no clients and therefore we could eat. We had a look at the menu but the ingredients of the courses were not specified which finally cost a misunderstanding with the waiters. One of us ordered a dish expecting one thing but it turned to be a disaster because we weren't expecting the use of a particular ingredient. They said it was impossible to change it so we had to keep it anyway. In general, we were expecting different flavours, in special we are talking about the risotto that wasn't well-cooked at all...It had a strange taste, it had so much water and too much oil. In short, horrible. The desserts, unexpectedly, were the best part of the lunch.

So glad we stumbled across this wonderful restaurant in Liverpool. The staff were so friendly, the place was spotlessly clean and the food was AMAZING. The portion sizes are great and there was so much choice and all vegan. If we ever visit Liverpool again we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Loved this little vegan gem. What a menu! So much choice I need to go back again to try other dishes - from other β€˜regions’ of the world. All the food was delicious & great service. Only thing I might say is the cheesecake slice seemed on the small side for Β£6.50, but was still tasty. Looking forward to going back!

Amazing food, my partner was convinced he was eating real calamari! The wait was quite long but given the extensive menu that's no surprise and well worth the wait. Excellent, can't wait to return!

Wow. This place is an absolute hidden gem. Doesn't matter if you aren't vegan, you will love this place. Fantastic varied menu, and the food is absolutely fantastic. We well definitely be going back. The food portions are generous also, so much so that we had our leftovers boxed up and we brought them home. There was no way I was leaving anything behind πŸ˜€
