Tight Security, several men on premises. Outside food, drinks and water not allowed. Busy mostly on weekends and holidays. You can have a good, private time on regular days when its not crowded. Have a good budget to enjoy items on menu. Somewhat friendly Staff; not sure I will rate service delivery 5 star however. Reservations are allowed. In all, excellent place for a night out in Accra

You people are discriminatory and rude !!!! So, my husband and I flew for our anniversary in Ghana. Bloom bar was on our visit list. We were so excited to visit on Friday. The bouncers turned us down saying we didn’t do a reservation. We tried explaining we are foreigners n didn’t know their protocols. They never did regardless. We understood and left for our hotel. The next day we called to reserve table. A guy called Ernest told us, there can’t be reservations for two so we can come early to sit. We went by 7 30 pm. Met new and old bouncers. One asked whether we had done reservation. We then explained that Ernest had told us we don’t need reservation and we should come earlier. The bouncer now told told us , there’s no seat for walked -in...We were shocked because we had come early later, he called Ernest n Ernest tried making a phone call . The bouncer called my husband on the side and told him my dress code was very casual 🥺🥺 my husband told him she’s married n she’s comfortable. In fact what do u wear at a bar ? In few minutes, Ernest told us to enter. He was totally helpful 👏. We ordered our food and drinks. Few minutes passed, we saw few women entering with clothes even worse than mine as per their standard. I asked my husband that we leave because we were not welcomed there . It’s either our accent or they didn’t see us as an elite. I had a very terrible experience may 15,2021 ago.... We behave so rude to our own Africans yet cry when the white men act rude to us. Shame on u

Good place with a nice vibe. If you like open space type of bar, this is definitely the place to go. The DJ is on point and will definitely keep you on your dancing feet! You should try their cocktails; I love the "Bad habit". 😁 I'll surely be back.

Honestly of all of the many spots in Accra, this is the most fun bar club that there is, period!! The vibe is casual and not stiff, the music is amazing, food is great, drinks are great. You can literally have a blast with a small or big crew. We kept coming back because it was pure fun vibes no shakara, no stunting , no people watching, just pure good vibes and amazing music!

Bloom bar is Very youthful. Night life here is always on point. Great for group hang outs and after work meet ups. Great tunes and really really good cocktails. The World Cup was my favorite.. Their Chicken wings and spring rolls were also very enjoyable. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but definitely fun place

We were a group of 8. The 6 of us that were white and European were authorized to come in. Our 2 black friends were refused, for "clothes reasons". I was in sneakers and t shirts, they were in proper shoes and nice shirts. We decided not to stay, and the bouncer told me "anyway I don't care you don't spend" and then "you won't ever enter again" Ok Billy Bob, thank you

Bloom Bar is well worth the experience. The place is beautiful, clean, the waiters work hard and the music is worth it. I enjoyed the rooftop and the manager there Kofi was a huge help. Just make sure you wear club type clothes, they don't allow much casual wear 😉 They tried to give my beau a hard time about wearing these clothes.

Great place to catch some fun… the open air area is superb especially in times of Corona… just go there early so you get a place of your choice cos all the big guys and girls roll here. Plus clean environment and super polite staff. Was a great experience for me.

Awful place. I have never felt this discriminated against due to someone's owns discretion as the security guy said. He won't allow us (myself, my wife and my sister) in for no reason and that was it. He later mentioned my wife's dressing which looked more decent and classier than all those that came in with just panties on speaking with a foreign accent. Guess what, we are Americans but we decided to speak the local language because we are proud to be home. This has left a bad taste and I will never go to this bar, neither will I ever recommend any decent person to get close.

Come for a drink or two before dancing the night away somewhere else. Best during holiday season and on Friday nights. Nice cocktails will run you some money, but they’re tasty. Bouncers are annoying but they’ve never given me trouble over my clothes. Wouldn’t let me bring my umbrella. I think in a few years, they’ll have some steep competition. Nice decorations and the music is okay, not great.

Dress Code is considered (no sleeveless, no short shorts and others I may not have fully accounted for) and there will be a check by the bouncer at the gate for alcohol, weaponry (all for the purpose of safety and reducing rowdiness in their establishment). The interior is perfectly aligned, and divided into 2 sections. However haven’t tried the food yet.

BEWARE! DO NOT GO! We got very disappointed by the place. We were waiting for some friends but the bouncers at the door did not let them in. They let white people in (us) but not our black friends. Definitely one of the best places for your night outings! Love the lights. Amazing food as well. Customer service wasn’t bad as well. One must be properly dressed though. Extremely casual outfits may not be allowed in.

Lovely place and nice food. I gave it a 2 star because my first experience was great. However I encouraged a friend to go with me to the place and she was refused entry. And the security wouldn’t explain why. Mind you it’s an open air lounge/ bar. The reopening of the bloom bar on Thursday was great as it was my first time going there. My girls and I were impressed and the new decorations were soothing to the eyes. I loved how everyone was on their business and not on others. I’m not a fan of smoke so I will say that was the only thing I didn’t really like.

Definitely nice and bright which gives it a nice ambience for sure. I felt the vibe was a bit pretentious but that was just me...i am sure for others they may feel opposite concerning the vibe. But I loved the cocktails and the meat platter that was served. For a friday it was pretty busy and jam packed and parking was problematic. And special props to the DJ who held it down with hit after hit. He made my night! ??

I like to sit up there and have a beautiful view of the lights down there. Such a decent place with high security and nice staff to attend to u. I feel very safe here but too crowded and we struggled to get a place to sit. All seats have reserved reserved reserved all over. Reserved for so called celebs who never show up in the end. I didn't like that kind discrimination. Beautiful place but not much of entertainment, only music. Prices fairly high too. Just dress to suit the day and you'll have entry.

I went with my friends just yesterday for the first time and the bouncer denied us entry without telling us the reason. He was rude for no reason cos we well dressed! My problem is that if u won’t let us in, give us reasons so we know next time. We looked good than a lot of people who entered. Know how to treat people cos at the end of the day, u need people to run ur business!!

Night life here is awesome. The DJ's and music is good. Very spacious and comfortable with VIP seating available as well. Try this place out if you want to experience real clubbing.

Excellent alternative to the twist nightclub.. great crowd but can get crowded especially during festive periods. Well lit arena with 4 sections A.Main area, B."vip" table service C.An upstairs location D.And an overflow area Excellent menu also. For food and drink. Clean bathrooms Security is extra tight inside and the bouncers do not joke about with unruly / drunk patrons. Parking outside can be a hassle, but some of the area youth have turned this into a service and can show you good spots and watch over the cars tull you return for a tip.

The perfect venue for a night out! Great music, great vibes and don't forget to wear heels ladies! They're a bit strict with what footwear they allow to come through. I've been a few times and it's always been a great time and I've always made good memories.

Visited on a not so busy Tuesday night and it was so much fun. Only problem is that they didn't have items for serving the fish bowls. They reserve that just for the weekends. Had a great time with the group and the DJ over delivered. It's an outdoor seating area and they have fans installed as well to allow some coolness. A must visit if you are in Accra on a Friday night or weekend!

One of the most popular hangouts in Accra. I had heard and read lots of stories about it and decided to check it out with some pals. It was worth the hype tbh. A cozy environment to wind down after a long week and catch up with buddies over drinks and/or finger food. It was also easy to make new friends if you are in that kind of mood. We had a slight not-so-great interaction with the bouncer prior to our entry. This took out some of the interest. Street parking may be hard to find. Ride-share if you can. Check it out, at least once.

The only thing that stops them short of a 5 star is the staff. They are like robots. Only doing what they are told to do with no iota of discretion. A guy at the entrance held up a whole bunch of people just so that he could take individual details of people who had come in groups. And each time someone objected to disclosing their contacts, he'd spin into an argument with them forcing them to give their contacts. I don't know how many people end up giving wrong numbers but that's an infringement right there. I wish the waiters had name tags so that I wouldn't have to generalize. But the one who served us was rude and had a frown plastered on her face until we decided to also be rude in return. It's terrible that someone paid to serve would only treat you better when you disregard them. We weren't going to tip her but I really wanted to see her countenance after she'd been giving money she didn't deserve. We got our first smile and thank you when we did. SMH I've been to BloomBar countless times even though I vowed never to step foot there after my first visit. But something about the place keeps me accepting invitations to hangout there. Maybe it's the liveliness of the place or the affordability of the food and drinks or the fact that no matter the mood I go there in, I always end up having fun. They've made so much progress. Done so many renovations, expanded and improved on a whole lot. And their restrooms are impressively spick and span. For these reasons, I'll go there again

When we say light life in Ghana is impossible not mention Bloombar. Bloombar is without a doubt one of the best places in Accra to chill and have a times It is an outdoor open space with a clear view of the of the beauty sky. The warm ambience ambience created with a stripe of warm bulbs running in parallel gives great light for enable it’s clients take great photos to save those wonderful memories they have there. It’s huge publicity doesn’t come without a cost though as you may on a few occasion not allowed entry because premise without be fully packed with people. Parking for the most of it usually a headache. Some people have also complained about the presence of pick pockets....

10/10 for ambience, design, service and music. My only problem is the way they treat male customers. If you go with lady friends they will make them enter alone and you the male will join a queue. You will enter with a significantly lower morale only to go in and find the place isn’t even packed. I don’t know the rationale behind this, perhaps they have a good reason, but this must improve. A lot of my male friends have told me they feel disrespected every time they go there. Even if they love the place the problem is at the gate.

Walking in, prepare to get searched for any material considered inappropriate. These could be knives, guns and even pepper spray. I'm not sure what exactly happens if you have any such item but it'll probably just be collected and held till you leave. Now inside. It's quite a spacious place even though it's not big. There were a lot of people but it didn't feel crowded (this is a post-covid experience, I don't know what arrangements were like prior). That said it's probably best to book a table if you don't plan on getting there before 11. Otherwise come earlier( from 9 to 10) for a night out in order to actually get a spot you want. I enjoyed the ambience, the music, it was very lively. I could definitely sit there for hours and hours. You should probably come ready to spend a lot if you like to drink.

I've never not had a good time at Bloom Bar: they have creative and effective drinks (wink wink), a great ambiance, a very grammable and spacious set up, usually on point DJs, and a good choice of food options. No place is flawless but they do a pretty good job overall.

Bloom bar is bloom bar. It's a guaranteed vibe. It's a place a you come to have a good time. The crowd is youthful and not stuck up trying to impress one another with their bottle service - don't get it twisted 🤣. The entry fee can be expensive at times so try to get on the guest list especially if you are a guy. Overall, it's a chill place to at least visit once if it's your type of scene.
