Finally finally! My husband got me to try local food. I found this place on Maps and thought it looks really clean, cool and inviting. So I agreed to stop by and try to dining experience. It was amazing..my food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and the people all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I really loved that the food wasn't overly priced and still had a very exquisite presentation and taste. Kudos to the owner and staff. I will be back to try more local foods since the restaurant is so clean and presentable. If you're going on a Sunday afternoon the place will likely be crowded so be prepared to wait a little.

Easy accessible place with spacious and airy environment. Eco friendly setting with beautiful designs and setup. Food and drinks are affordable for everyone who wants to visit. I ordered Jollof rice with grilled chick which comes with kekewele, fried egg and chunks of beef. It tasted really delicious. Drinks are moderate and not overpriced. I loved the local pots they use to serve everything food. It takes us back to the olden days which some of us still remembers. Overall, I loved the place and the food as well, kudos to the management and workers. Theyโ€™re very professional.

I had some good fufu and light soup here. Great taste, served in an African style. Visit and experience it yourself. The waiters were nice and swift though but the waiting time for the food can be improved.

Nice place with high patronage, wide range menu (local food, continental, grills, swallows and beverages). Their local settings makes so much difference with great services. Good car park and hideout. The next time you have visitors from abroad, you can take them there and Iโ€™m sure they will enjoy the place.

Beautiful atmosphere of a great local setting, well prepared local dishes (fufu, banku and all the great soups all served in local earthenware of old. Refresh yourselves with assorted drinks as you enjoy an open air sitting. Lively service awaits you.

Great ambiance and on point customer service. Enjoy your local meals and for me their waakye hits the right spots. Rates are moderate.

I love the whole traditional style of serving food in the asanka and pots. The food was very tasty and spicy. The environment was neat and the music, Soft, soothing and yet local. The set up is very rustic with the incorporation of green plants, wooden furniture and mats. Very cosy too.

Lovely locationโ€ฆserve good local dishes. Food is very pocket friendly but classy enough for all. My only complaint will be the fliesโ€ฆsomething should be done about that. But all round, a perfect location for a weekend hangout with friends and family.

The food was amazing, Jude get friendly and had the local feel of eating in the earthen ware bowl(clay bowl). The time it took for the food to be ready was also short, which was impressive! Would recommend it to anyone looking to eat any local food with a good budget!

Amazing groundnut soup & a vibe which is hard to match!! If you are looking for authentic Ghanaian food - this is a great option. They have tables and seating options for large or smaller groups. Next time Iโ€™m in Accra Iโ€™ll definitely be coming back to Dimaensa.

Service was a little delayed but that's because this place has people consistently coming in and going. Food is very affordable and is absolutely delicious! I had the Friday Special, Coconut Pottage and I really loved it. The lady attending to us was pleasant and professional. Will definitely recommend.

Cool serene and open place to enjoy your fufu. The fufu is good, the meat is soft and delicious, the soup full of flavour. All the while with soft music in the background. Interestingly the staff are nice and helpful. You get bushmeat and snail in addition to the usual beef, goat meat and salmon. Fufu starts from Ghc5.00 upwards. An amount of Ghc50.00 gets you a very decent fufu meal. Really cool place.

I highly recommend Dimaensa for local foods! They have amazing jollof rice as well! I love that they serve food in the asanka (lol not sure if thatโ€™s the name) but very creative. Although service is a bit slow.

The atmosphere here is a busy one probably because of the Christmas season. Upon arrival, my friends and I had to wait around for a space to open up in order to get seated. It took about an hour for the food(fufu and goat light soup) to arrive. When it did the soup wasn't hot either. Overall great atmosphere and good music, but they need not to compromise on quality due to increasing customers and improve the waiting time.

We got there around 8pm and it took over an hour for our food to get ready. Plus we couldn't get what we wanted cos it was late so we settled for what was available. The food is great and our server was fun and cool. I'm definitely going back there hopefully at an appropriate time to get my cravings. Nice setup and sockets around each table in case your phone is going off

I'd heard of this place and decided to try it out. The food was surprisingly affordable. I'm talking based on the median price for restaurants or food joints of this type in Accra. The fufu is served in an earthenware bowl and the soup in a pot. The mats hanging around makes it feel very indigenous. You'll love the food here. Here's the downsides, since it's a popular place you'll have to deal with the crowds that usually come here. Also the place feels understaffed, I may be wrong but looking at the amount of time I sat there before I was attended to was too much. Other people there complained as well so you better prepare yourself

Great destination for local dishes, however the wait time especially on a Sunday is crazy for a hungry man to wait that long. My advise, you either prepare for the long wait to have your food or simply be the first in attendance.

One thing I really love about this place is it's aesthetic; the fufu and banku are served in the local bowl (asanka) and it makes you feel right at home. The food is good and the customer service is superb. If you want to visit this place, you must have above 30 cedis for food. The place is neat and serene with enough privacy to enjoy your food. What worried me is the wait for the food but aside that, the place is great

Great presentation of meals but waiters should pay attention to details with regards to taking orders and pots should be cleared on time. Warm water should be made available in a jug for washing hands and not just the bowl of cold water. Overall I enjoyed my Fufu and the soup had a mama's touch๐Ÿ˜˜ There was no food delay and that's a plus๐Ÿ‘Œ Food was served hot๐Ÿ˜‹

Nice environment with nice service but their food taste horrible.woke up with a running stomach from eating the fufu and light cow meat soup. I knew the food didn't sit well with me after eating it. Never will I set foot in that restaurant ever again I'm still surprised they are still in business. 5 star for the environment but for the food they could do better...

The foods are tasty, well cooked and the portions are great. They've got locally made drinks like pineapple juice and sobolo with minimal sugar and that's also great for those who do not want carbonated drinks. The waitresses were very nice. All in all I had a beautiful experience over there. ๐Ÿ‘

for a chopbar, you would think their local food would be really good but i was disappointed in their jollof. my friends werenโ€™t surprised because โ€œwho goes to a chop bar to order jollof?โ€ anyway, I 100% would not recommend the jollof. just stick to the usual fufu/banku/omotuo you buy at a chopbar.

Great place and sumptuous food! The place was busy, maybe due to the Christmas season and that's understandable. However, that shouldn't be the reason for the delay in serving customers and the fair customer relations. All in all it is a great place but quality of service should be worked on.

The only good point about this place is that it has a nice interior appearance. The food is normal. And when you come here be prepared to wait for about 2 hours before you receive your food. The staff are stressed due to the number of customers they have to look after so their attitude is somewhat rude.

Good food! Poor customer service!.. So I had Angwamo with red chilli sauce and a fingerling of sardine. The rice was cooked to perfection. You can taste the salted goat meat which any good Angwamo should have. Unfortunately they used only the pieces of bones and not the meat itself in the rice. They can do better. For 30 cedis, I felt they could have added sausages and even avocado...a.little mint after eating will also not be bad. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ Also they should consider adding a little kanzo to the serving. Will I be going there again?? Don't know. To me customer services is key and all I felt was .... here is your food, eat and pay.
