This is the hidden gem of Walsall. The food is beautiful and the service is great. We had a wedding reception here and I have to say WOW!!! We had a 5 course fine dining sit down menu, every dish was perfectly presented and tasted fabulous, additionally the staff at the Littleton, they are simply terrific. They were immensely patient with all our requests and treated us with the greatest respect THANK YOU!!! I would definitely be coming back!

Fantastic 5 course meal at the Walsall college restaurant 'The Littleton' for just £20 (plus drinks). Food was tasty, staff were friendly and accommodating and for 5 courses executed to an extremely high standard we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Portions may look small but it was filling. Atmosphere was modern, clean, comfortable. Hidden away as part of the college I can understand why people haven't shared their experience sooner. Nice and quiet but busy every evening it appears. Apparently only open weekdays but may open weekends on request, not confirmed, best to call up and ask. 100% recommend👌

A truly delicious meal. Three courses all beautifully presented and extremely delicious. Service was good lovely friendly staff. Definitely recommended, we can't wait to go and dine there again.

I had my wedding lunch at the Littleton. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic, the staff were great. Steph and team did a great job making the day very special for my husband and I. I am overwhelmingly grateful.

Wow! What an amazing little bistro. Korean chicken noodle salad with a sticky bbq chilli sauce....mouthwatering delicious. Was treated to lunch here by good friends who live in the area, and was completely wowed by this place. Friendly and courteous staff, fabulous food - if we lived here we would be regulars!

Had an evening meal with husband . Comfortable and warm restaurant , decorated beautiful and modern . Food was excellent one of the best 5course meals I’ve had in a long time . Staff very attentive. The only criticism I have is due to maybe the room itself was that it was extremely noisy and loud we had to almost shout to hear each other. The noise of the room is the only negative comment .

I can’t believe such a great restaurant is so tucked away, not spoken about and not busy every night it’s open! I highly highly recommend coming here, especially for the price! £35 for such high quality of food, 4 courses, is unheard of and well worth the visit. We’ve been meaning to come here a long time and it lived up to the expectations. The mains were by far the best part of of the meal, with the lamb dinner (of sorts) and mushroom risotto being the stars of the show. The jacket potato purée was divine btw! The starters were gorgeous too, but unfortunately the deserts didn’t quite hit the same bar. Despite this, the whole evening of food was thoroughly enjoyed, with healthy portions, good service and a nice atmosphere, although a tad quiet. With a large range of drinks options, and an comfortable interior easy on the eye, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t come! Great for larger groups and little celebrations :)

Been a few years since we first visited The Littleton and I'd did not disappoint. We (me and my wife) had the burger and fish & chips with a side of battered onion rings (plenty, good size, crunchy) with soft drinks. Food and service were really good. You will need to book though!

I've been there for breakfast the other day with my friend and I usually don't like to go places for breakfast cz I'm hard to please with how things are done so I love best the way I do my breakfast especially when it's vegetarian but we decided to try something new. What a pleasant suprise!Everything was so delicious. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone who cares about the taste of the food. Will definitely go there again.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious, a lovely varied menu. A starter and main were more than enough, couldn't manage a dessert although they they looked and sounded delicious. First time I'd been but will definitely be going again, thank you.

The Christmas lunch menu was absolutely impressive. It's worth the wait and what you pay for. Accessible to wheelchair users. With pay parking area. each course meal is well plated. Servers serves us gracefully. Overall Extremely Impressed and a Top rated restaurant. Thank you so much for making special occasion so much more special. Will definitely comeback.

Relatively pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. Despite the very high rating, the place was plenty roomy and quiet when we arrived. Food was delicious, and service was on point.

Lovely restaurant with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious but slightly limited and quite expensive which is why I've given it 4 stars. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Now the opening times are later I will visit socially as well as for business. Definitely recommend

Lovely food and hospitality

This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Food was fantastic and service was very good. Definitely be back.
