Definitely
a
special
experience!
As
many
others,
we
came
to
know/follow
Marcus
(and
Craig)
from
Master
Chef,
so
we
finally
booked
to
experience
his
offering
of
fine
dining.
It
was
a
high
class
experience,
we
were
pampered
from
all
the
staff,
even
got
a
chance
to
have
a
quick
tour
of
the
kitchen!
This
dinner
was
a
celebration
for
us
and
we
were
presented
with
two
extra
mini-bites
to
mark
the
occasion.
We
went
with
the
7-course
tasting
menu
and
we
enjoyed
every
bit
of
it.
Some
dishes
were
better
than
others
(loved
the
scallop,
the
cod,
the
cauliflower,
the
venison
and
the
desserts,
not
super
keen
for
the
chicken
ballotine,
really
liked
the
trout
but
wasn't
able
to
fully
enjoy
all
elements
without
a
spoon),
and
overall
we
were
very
happy
we
were
able
to
enjoy
this
experience.
It
is
not
mentioned
anywhere
(as
far
as
I
was
able
to
check),
but
there
is
an
included
service
charge
of
13.5%
or
so,
which
is
fine
as
the
service
was
absolutely
fantastic,
but
some
people
might
find
the
non-discretionary
or
negotiable
option
not
ideal,
especially
given
that
the
bill
can
rise
to
very
high
values
with
wine.
There
was
also
a
small
added
donation
(£1)
for
a
relevant
charity
that
we
were
asked
if
we
wanted
to
opt
in
or
out.
I
found
this
funny,
as
when
the
total
bill
is
well
in
the
tripple
digits,
£1
is
definitely
not
a
problem
to
add.
Definitely
happy
I
got
to
enjoy
this
experience,
looking
forward
to
what
the
future
brings
for
Marcus
and
the
team!
