In to buy planters for mother's Day presents.expensive quality plants, place very busy.people striding along against the one way system annoying.especially as I had a trolly full of plants. Staff most pleasant and helpful.

The Secret Garden is a cute restaurant and nursery, where you can grab a nice tasty meal and then proceed to dander around the flowers in the nursery for a good while while you digest your food. The plants there are gorgeous and available for purchase! They also sell a lot of gardening and outdoor related products, including outdoor furniture. Overall a great place

Really nice restaurant ( gift shop), has a lift to first floor. Great service, big portions. Best Scampi I've ever had. Chips could have done with 30-60 seconds more- just slightly firm. Good desserts and coffee.

Arrived for breakfast for on a weekend just before Christmas on the day when the breakfast with Santa was taking place, the 18th of December, so I don't know because how busy it was that morning affected the standard off the food, I ordered the potato bread stack from the menu and unfortunately I was very disappointed with what was given to me, the egg was the only thing that was eaten, the potato bread was deep fat fried so much and the bacon was burnt to a crisp, and the sausage wasn't the best either, when the waitress came back to collect the plate I advised her I wasn't going to pay, which she agreed with the standard wasn't great, attached is a picture of the food

This is a really nice wee restaurant linked to the garden centre in Dundonald. I was there at breakfast time so I had the soda bread stack. It was nicely done and not greasy. Surroundings are nice and relaxing, and staff are all you could hope for. I will go back at some time for lunch. I did notice that there was a good gluten-free section on the menu.

The vegan afternoon tea here is second to none! Had a lovely afternoon with amazing vegan sarnies and goodies. The staff are all so friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. Cannot recommend highly enough! (they also have a huge vegan main menu). Thankyou!

Delicious lunch and dessert, great portions. We had the Hawaiian Chicken Burger with chunky chips and Panini and skinny fries. Followed by lemon meringue and cheesecake of the day. Empty plates all round.

Went in here just before closing time of 4.30 but did not feel rushed. Staff were patient and attentive until we were finished. Nice place.

Gets very busy from 10am onwards, usually a short wait to be seated. Meals were freshly cooked with a good selection. New car parking spaces are very welcome.

The Secret Garden is delightful. Staff very welcoming, service speedy and was asked how the food was. A lovely lunch and then a good look around the shop. Something for everyone.

The food in the cafe is really nice, decent quality. The Shop and Garden part is a good size and plenty to buy. However, service in the cafe was awful. Very slow and inattentive hence only 3 stars. Berry Smoothie- not at all! More like a vanilla milkshake with no taste of berries. Asked for a fanta instead, which was brought to the table AFTER we had ate AND paid. No apology from the waitress which is rude. Car parking is hectic.

I had a lovely BLT sandwich on very fresh wholemeal bread. It was lovely. Coffee is average, but you can't have everything!! Staff were also very nice.

Food was outstanding as always, and I highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed. The main courses need a few more gluten-free options, but I was able to get something off the menu that suited me perfectly.

Car park opposite was very chaotic when we arrived, but they plan to open an extension in the next few weeks. Food was great and the service was excellent. I would recommend.

Food was lovely, however when we told the cashier when we were paying that we hadn't had the wheaten bread we had ordered she actually phoned the waitress in front of us and asked her to confirm that we hadn't got it. I personally thought it was very rude and looked like we were telling lies. Insulting

Lovely coffee and scones. Was quite busy and staff looked a bit overwhelmed!

Great spot, always busy. Very friendly staff and the food always tastes good. You will not leave hungry as the portions are very generous. Afternoon tea looks very good (I believe this needs to be prebooked).

Restaurant extremely busy 12.30 but the staff very nice and hot us to our table upstairs quickly...also has a lift which is great for elderly and disabled customers to use ..menu varied and prices acceptable. Toilets really clean. Gift shop and Garden plants area well stocked. A nice way to spend my birthday with family . Definitely will revisit soon.

Always enjoyable experience. Staff in the garden section are very helpful, and knowledgeable....and go above and beyond to assist you. Special mention to the Spanish gardener, and a local Belfast guy who simply made my recent visit special. Did not dine in the restaurant this time, but I know it to be a joy.

Staff member was very rude. Taken dishes away when not everyone had finished. Not even letting children with special dietary requirements have their own food in with them even though my friend and i were paying costumers. Never had this problem in any other restaurant.
