Love this place. Have been here several times (mainly for steak), and never be disappointed. The staffs are nice and friendly. The restaurant is well-decorated and clean.

Harry's is a cosy, romantic place with well thought out dishes and friendly staff. I went for my boyfriends birthday and they were very helpful and friendly. I ordered the lobster which was divine. Melted perfectly and very garlicky. And I am a garlic girl. My bf got the steak and said it was a perfect meal. Everyone in our party loved their meals and while the price saves it for special occasions for us, the food is amazing and the portions are good.

The food was fabulous, deserts were delicious and the drinks and service was impeccable. When a combination of grateness is combined with a lovely atmosphere, the whole experience is enhanced. The wait staff were so lovely and kind and there were no issues whatsoever. They even asked us if there were any allergens that the chef needed to know about before preparing the meal.

Excellent comfort food. The Garlic bread is amazing to share. The burgers are really tasty (I had the Greedy Hog which has BBQ pulled pork in) and for desert I had the hot waffle with ice cream which was an absolute delight. Comfortable setting. Good service. Highly recommended

Great service and food, nice atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Went for a dinner on a Sunday night. We called in advance and asked if there's a table, they responded that they are fully booked, but when we came in, there were plenty of available seats and we were soon sat. We chose to have the Flat Iron and Rib Eye steaks and started with the person peppers and arancini. All were delicious and properly made. The rib eye was made to a rare level, though we asked for a medium rare, but ok. Atmosphere is quite nice and the staff is really great.

Friendly staff and nice steak. High Sobriety was so refreshing especially with the mint and cucumber, go best with steak! Nice steak and béarnaise sauce can be a bit more vinegary.

Harry's Restaurant is without doubt the best restaurant in Exeter if not the UK! Where to begin, the Restaurant is family run and beautifully decorated. You receive the warmest welcome from the team, who are all extremely lovely and very attentive (in the right way). The atmosphere is always great and the food, well it is just outstanding and I have now sampled most of the menu. The wonderful family team go the extra mile and will cook you meals which they used to have on the menu! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you want excellent food in a lovely restaurant at a good price then Harry's Restaurant is for you.

Went here for a private birthday function. We had a separate room with a large table in it and a bar. There was lots of space around the table so it was a fairly big room. We had a set menu that we could choose a few options from but all the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place. The toilets were very clean. The staff were also amazing, very attentive, professional and friendly. Special mention to Liv who helped us out most of the night and did a fantastic job! I will definitely be back to try the full menu!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this experience was. Literally every single thing was perfection. Firstly, the team were all super friendly, warm and welcoming and made us feel special. The ambiance was just right, music was a superb blend of well known classics starting from the 1960’s and making their way into the 70’s as it moved along the evening. It’s a restaurant you say? What about the food? Sometimes it’s good to leave the best things until last. The food was OUTSTANDING! A starter (special) of belly pork slices and freshly made slaw was superb, the pork was so well cooked; the tastes sublime. The calamari also deserves its own shout out; it was gently cooked and not rubbery or tough like it can be. Amazing. Mains and we both had the ribeye steak. A generous portion, not bogged down with tons of fat like I’ve had before. It was cooked perfectly to the medium rare that we’d requested. Both of the courses washed down with a couple of signature cocktails. Sadly, we were too full for dessert, but the table next to us had the most amazing looking Eton mess. I wish I lived closer to Exeter as I’d want to eat here all the time. Just simply perfect.

Booked well in advance of our trip (you need to for a Friday or Saturday night!) The service was impeccable. The food device, the portion sizes big! We shared a camembear with loads of bread and a Chateaubriand. A beautiful Malbec and finished with a shares Sgroppino (highly recommended by the Manager) and was the perfect finish for the meal. Amazing visit for brunch. Quality, freshly cooked food. Service was quick, friendly, and we never felt rushed to vacate the table. My only complaint, and it really is scraping the barrel…. My egg wasn’t as runny as I would have liked. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great visit.

For a vegetarian to be giving a steakhouse 5 stars, they must be doing something right. The truffle arancini and truffle and mushroom lasagne with rock fries were perfection. Also the ambience was just right and it was a bonus hearing songs from my fave artist: Amy Winehouse

Finally got a reservation and Harry's did not disappoint. Lovely decor and ambience. Great service and wonderful food. Will ensure in future when visiting Exeter will book in advance to guarantee a table. It did feel good when people came in from the street to ask for a table but the restaurant was full!!

Relaxed evening meal. Friendly service and good value. Social distancing evident but certainly not over the top which added to the relaxed evening had.

The dry Steak costing £54, but at least they offered a pasta for free for apologise. The recommended wine isn’t really fit with the meal. Unstable quality

We came here for a celebratory meal after reading all the great reviews and I'm glad we did! We had a nice corner table facing out to the rest of the restaurant. We had the cheese souffle and pork belly for starters (the pork belly was a very good portion and both starters were very tasty!). Mains were a ribeye steak (which I'm told was very good), then I had a flat iron steak and half a lobster. Desserts were a chocolate brownie sundae and a skillet cookie. All in all, a lovely meal and service and I would go again.

Will definitely be returning to Harry’s. Food was quick and absolutely delicious with a nice selection of cocktails. I felt very well taken care of, staff were very attentive and their attention to detail was fantastic. There was a lovely, warm, buzzing atmosphere!

This place is lovely! The food and service are fantastic but you must book in advance, The cocktails are really good too. The building is stunning and always a good temperature (visited in summer and winter) Thank you for a wonderful lunch for our friends 60th birthday, can't wait to return

Exceptional. I had lunch at Harry’s today. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We were taken care of by Amy, who tells me she got through to round four of the X Factor tv show and is on first name terms with Danny Minogue. All in all, an entertaining lunch.

One of my regrets is that I don’t eat here more often, it’s hard to get a table for a reason! It’s a timeless classic: great food and experience, hospitality done well! Thank you to Chloe who looked after us, a delightful evening!

Great food .On the entry we been trace and track temperature check for Cov 19 very happy with that.The waiting staff ( young gentlemen ) worked so hard I think this is first time I seen so attentive waiter.I hope people will tip him well for such a great service.The food was awesome my kids liked the tomato soup and ribs I liked the carpaccio filet.The tables were clean and staff was so friendly.Would love to get back.

I went for a meal with my wife for our anniversary based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed at all. The menu was extensive and the food we ordered was lovely (and great portions!) a great cocktail and wine menu too. What makes Harry’s so good is the service, the staff were exceptional and a credit to the restaurant. We will definitely be returning lots more! Highly recommended.

Lovely setting! Rare find with great Italian food. My favourites were burrata and buttermilk panna cotta. The biscuit with panna cotta was warm - nice touch.

Had a wonderful lunch here today after a last minute booking. The decor was very nice, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly! I just wish I had time to come back whilst I'm on my holiday!

What a lovely restaurant! Firstly they rang us on the day to see if we were still coming which is rare and we knew it was going to be good because of that. We were greeted nicely when we arrived everything from that point was perfect. Excellent waiters who ran the front of the house with no problems even though it was so busy and the food.... Wow! That is something else there, the aranchini were gorgeous and everyone else loved their starters and my burger for mains was so big I couldn't finish it, they also loved their mains. Definitely 10/10 💯

Great place to eat, great food which you could tell every ingredient is fresh and home cooked. Great Covid procedure in place, temperature checks and hand sanitiser on every table. Our waiter was amazing - (didn't catch his name unfortunately but the only guy serving in the restaurant at the time) he was welcoming, happy, great to talk to and went over and beyond to make sure we was happy. Will be definitely returning again soon and many more times in the future. Best restaurant in Exeter by far!!

As always a family meal at Harry's are very very special. All covid restrictions and rules are adhered to. Plenty to choose from on the revised Christmas menu. Burgers, Tagliata. Steak. Chicken breast with vegetables, fries and salad was delicious and just what we wanted after looking forward to our meal at Harry's. Creme brulee, Affogato and coffees were rounding off a great lunch. Waiting staff attentive and professional as always. Compliments to the chef.

One of the best steaks First time in this place and it was great. Nice, cozy atmosphere, very welcoming. Serving is very quick and waiters very nice and polite. But the hands up going to the chef for one of the best steaks I ever had. I can only recommend this place. Not cheapest nor expensive. I think its priced just right

Excellent Ribeye and Sirlion steaks locally sourced, with slick service in a converted workshop. Good range of Apperitifs: the G&Ts were good. Glad we went during our short break in Exeter.

Took the girlfriend here on Thursday evening and had the best rib eye steak. Definitely recommend

The staffs are friendly. Carpaccio and Tagliata wasn’t that impressive but Crab Lindguine tasted amazing!!! Very rich flavoured, highly recommended;)

I saw the trip advisor and google reviews and they were all so good that I had to visit Harry's Restaurant. We ordered a Chateaubriand between the two of us, and nearly ordered another portion of mushrooms, but luckily checked again what came with the dish. The waitress was so sweet and admitted that she should have pointed this out to us. The food was amazing. The beef was so good and the chips were so crispy and the mushroom so oaky and went so well with the beef. The macaroni cheese was ok, but because the other food was so superior we didn't care. Definitely recommend this place.

Staff were lovely :) Calamari was ok, a little bit oily. Crab linguine was bland and really dry, it was hard to swallow so my partner had it. Sabatini's is the better choice for a crab linguine!! Steak was delish! Creme brulee and choc torte was perfect 🤩
