A taste good account for authentic Jamaican cuisine. The pool side ambiance was lovely and the service was good. Overall it was a marvelous experience

I’ve been here many times and I’ll be many times more. The banku and okro is my go-to favorite but everything I’ve had on the menu is good. The ambiance is great fast and night. I typically call ahead and place my order if I know what I want so I don’t wait so long.

The owner of this supposedly authentic Jamaican restaurant should be ashamed .In no way does the food reflect the genuine taste of Jamaica.It is a misrepresentation to call any of the food presented JAMAICAN FOOD. Items such as curry goat ,jerk pork and jerk chicken were unrecognisable .Rice and Peas was absolutely vile .The Ingredients used were not authentic and as such to the discerning Jamaican palate tasted nothing like the original .Although having the ingredients to be used for the rum punch they chose to use a inferior blend of rum.As for the Guinness punch it was not made correctly the nutmeg being overpowering and no WRAY AND NEPHEW!! . The redeeming qualities are staff very friendly and welcoming .And ambience relaxing with lovely nice pool side setting .To the Jamaican owner YUH NEED FI SORT OWT DI TIING !!!! The food was great, just the green chilli was a bit salty. Unfortunately, we had to wait more than an hour and a half for the buffet to be ready even though the manager assured us they were opened as at the time we got there. Service was great and mostly timely after that. Great place and ambiance.

The food in this restaurant is soooooo delicious. Absolutely fantastic chefs. As someone who has eaten jamaican food growing up this restaurant is a tribute. We went here for our last night of our holiday. As soon as we arrived I knew I wouldn't enjoy the evening. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves think. I do not understand the attraction of going out with friends to somewhere where you can't have a conversation. Having said that though, if you are a reggae fan you will love it. I ordered a veggie burger and was told they had run out and only had chicken or beef. I asked for chicken and it was inedible. It didn't look like any chicken burger I had ever seen. And it had jerk sauce on it, even though that was not mentioned on the menu.

Great place to dine. Feels like you're in Jamaica when here. The seating looks great with names ot towns in Jamaica. The dishes are awesome. In all, it was a great experience being here.

We saw this restaurant advertised on a CitiTv program & since my friend who is also from Jamaica we decided to try it on xmas day no less. What a disappointment! First the directions were off & a 25ghc ride ended up costing 50ghc. Then none of the traditional Jamaican dishes n dishes were unavailable. Then when we ordered drinks they too were unavailable because their ONE bartender was sick.. The goat curry which my friend ordered was Initially unavailable. .then suddenly available. Sadly when she got it & ate it ; she said it tasted old. We were charged almost 400ghc for food that I packed up & brought home for my dog & cat!!.So disappointed by Africans born in Jamaica saying that they are serving REAL Jamaican food. Was there with my husband, he is a Jamaican. We tried their festivals, fritters, curry goat and jerk pork. To me they all tasted nice, tho my hubby said it isn’t giving the real Jamaican vibes🤣 But the environment is very beautiful and serene, palm trees and very greeny. With the pictures of some heroes hanging on the walls, it’s such a beautiful place to be, I enjoyed my evening there.

Food is sooo good! They have one of the best beef samosa! The rice& peas with jerk chicken or oxtail is yummy! The spicy gizzards are a must! Kudos to the boss lady Elizabeth and her team!

We arrived at 3:15 pm first we cougar someone’s elk us father restaurant was open for business we were being ignored finally a young lady (Ruth) our waitress told us yes and where to go so we’re seated and order 415 we get one of our appetizers and not the other 3 then we ask where’s our food she says it’s coming at 4:34 we get our food and still no appetizers we ask how much longer will it be for the appetizers Ruth stated that they were going to make some fresh so we say okay long story short it’s 5:30 and we have just gotten our appetizers and the owner was very non chalant about the situation and didn’t comp us her attitude was nasty I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT WHEN VISITING GHANA PERIOD!!!!!

Authentic, organic and terrific! Creativity at its best. A fusion of modern renditions and old staples make Jamrock a foodies favorite. Live band music during weekends contrast the relaxed atmosphere during the work week. They’re constantly introducing new things. Very professional staff and hands on owners. Love it!

We celebrated my mum's birthday today but the service was extremely poor 2 important people didn't get served I think it was because the place was too packed the food was good. They brought food 2 hours later but i feel they tried their best with the pressure and everything

A very nice place for a night hangout. Clean and nice environment. I was there recently and I must say I had fun. From the live band music to the grill. For some reasons, the waiters and waitresses were acting so weird and were so inattentive. I ordered for apple juice and I was given pineapple juice. Customer service wasn’t really appealing to me. Parking space isn’t a problem at all.

I loved the aky3k3 but the kelewele was too small and food takes time to be ready, apart from that everything was good.

Our family enjoyed a Corona safe Christmas Eve dinner at Jamrock's new location. We were saddened by the move at first but have to admit that they really succeeded in taking Jamrock to the next level. Missing the pre Corona vibe though as with most places in Accra and elsewhere.

The restaurant has a great ambience and relaxed atmosphere.Enjoyed beautiful live band music, which seems to happen every friday and saturday. Cocktail drinks were on point especially the Bailey,s Colada😋. I,d recommend the Boston Jerk Chicken.It was flavourful and loved the smell of the slight char burn on the chicken. Owner was wonderful😊

The food was actually excellent but the service was terrible. It isn't actually a buffet. We ordered the food at 12.30 and it was a very long time between courses. At 14.45 we still hadn't been served our desserts.

I bookedthe table for 2pm Birthday Lunch for my husband we finally got the lunch which now turned in to dinner at 5pm very bad service nothing like the old place at East Legon. We also waited an hour and a half for our drinks. My son was last to be served and that was after all of us got our dinner. The food was good but not as good as the old place less choice on the menu. The outside place is beautiful but the customer service is terrible I thinks we should of had some kind of compensation as the table next to us who came after us got there dinner before us and had left while we were still eating our dinner Pearl Raji

Very friendly staff.... Lunch was over when I arrived but the hostess kindly worked some magic and I got just what I was craving. Food is awesome... Not the cheapest eatery but you sure get value for what you spend...... Not a formal "white napkin" tux and tie kinda dining experience but the environment and decor is pretty awesome, tastefully laid back All in all, an excellent place to eat and spend some fun time with good company.

We were greeted on arrival by security staff, you go inside the main building and waiters and waitresses welcome you with beaming smiles on their faces. On the whole ambience great, food delicious, customer service exceptional and I did enjoy myself. Would definitely pass by frequently. One great place to enjoy your Friday evening with cool reggae vibes, and Jamaican themed environment and oh I forgot to add if you’re a lover of jamaica or reggae like me you would love the Jamaican themed cabanas and ambience with the flag and pictures of great influences from Jamaica, Ghana and others. I could go on and on this place is definitely a place to enjoy either on a solo or a group of people

One of the best places in Accra to spend time with family and friends. The customer service is amazing, the staff are always smiling and ready to help. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is lovely and my favourite is the Friday live reggae session.

1st time there, food was great. Especially the grilled tilapia, cooked all the way. The banku was delicious as well. Customer service from the waiter lacked, but atmosphere made up for it. Went on Friday night, raggae night, band was superb!

Perfect atmosphere for relaxation and good tunes. By the pool side for just that true and honest conversations. I rather had an experience when a customer service rep tried to force a package on me to pay. They had a program, we were three but one person wouldn't eat, she nearly insisted on us paying for the third person which I thought was uncalled for. My times here have been nothing but somewhat nice....

I’ve been several times to this spot but it’s going down. Portions have dropped tremendously yet prices have doubled. Flavor of food is good but like the curry sauce it was very watered down seems they try to stretch their profits. Typically curry sauce is like a gravy my friend ask me when he arrived was I having soup, really! I asked to return for more chicken being they had 4 bits of chicken bones little meat. It came in a small bowl a size for a child but cost $14Usd with a side.

Had to wait over 2 hours for the food to be served. One of our guests didn't get their food until 3 hours had passed. Cocktails were so weak had to ask for extra liquor. I had hoped it would be nice, but in my experience it wasn't. I was very disappointed. Very bad customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place. The highlight of the night was the live band.

DO NOT GO HERE! We went for a family birthday event and were greeted with appalling service throughout our entire meal. We waited 2 hours for our food and were repeatedly ignored by their staff when trying to order drinks. Worst of all, when we explained the situation to the manager, we were greeted with pure hostility with no acknowledgement of the substandard service. It was really disappointing as the live music was good but this was completely overshadowed by the awful service. I don’t normally write reviews but I think it’s important to warn people off this place. There are much better places in Accra to eat

The staff was very friendly, the owner has a personality that will always make you happy and she is always there to entertain you with her dancing. There is always live music to keep you dancing all night.
