Great place to have fun. There are two waterfalls at the same location. The upper waterfall has more space for sit and have fun but you can’t have much fun with water. The lower waterfall is the real deal but has very limited area for sitting and relaxing. The tour guys were helpful in helping you climb in and out of rocky places. The distance from the car park to the waterfall is a good hike by itself. It’s a lovely place and it even more fun with friends.

Adom Waterfalls, also known As the Obosomase Waterfall it is a very exciting place as you will find two waterfall falls in one place. There is the upper one and lower one all of them breathtaking with good clean water for swimming in. They have carved out good non-slip walks or pathways. They require a bit of effort to climb and excellent exercise. The car can go very close to the waterfall and you continue on foot, about 15mins to the falls with easy walking and 7mins with brisk walking. Prepare and send your water along plus juice as there aren't any refreshments there at the time we went. And there is no electricity on site. There is no accommodation on site and they require an entry fee of 25 cedis for adults and about 15 cedis for children and from for 4 years and Below. We paid but were not given any receipts which I was sad about because it meant someone will be spending on personal stuff instead of using it to develop the place. Authorities should use the revenue to make the place better.

3 or more kilometer walk from the town of obosomase. I loved the hike , place is full of gravels and rocks which prevents slipping. A fee of 20ghc per adult and 10ghc for 4 years and above. Went there on a Sunday, requested for a receipt and they couldn’t provide giving all excuses. Place needs management and a side attraction needs to be done as well, There are two waterfalls at the premises, one is shallow and the other is very steep with stairs , caution needs to be taken on that part, overall I enjoyed nature since it’s my first time seeing a waterfall.😊

The hike down from the car park to the entrance is about 8 mins. . Ticket 🎫 is 20gh per person. On weekdays there are no food vendors (bring your food). The canopy walk doesn't work . The falls has two parts the upper and lower area. It takes 90 stairs down to the lower area. And like 3 mins from the entrance to the upper area.

If you can’t hike this is not for you, you will have to hike to get to the falls but it’s worth it. The gate fee is 20.00. You can swim there and it’s has a lot of photogenic views🥰I can’t say it’s kids friendly because of the steep hills but If you are an adventurous family why not. It’s pet friendly too. Maps takes you directly there and there are sign post along the way. They don’t sell food there so you have to take your own snacks but they sell water because they know you will need it 😂😂 It’s fun and helps health wise(the gym buddies 🥰)

Definitely not as impressive as the Wli, Kintampo or Boti falls, but the Adom Falls is still a beautiful waterfall and one of our underutilised tourist sites. Most visitors to the fall do a bicycle ride from the Aburi Botanical Gardens, travelling 5 kilometers, first along the township road and then onto bushy paths. There is an upper fall which flows down to a lower fall and you access these two places using different entry points. The upper fall is a more open area and easy terrain, whiles the lower fall is more adventurous with steep rocks you'd have to descend and climb to get to the water. The water is clear and it's refreshing to sit under it and have it fall over you. If you like bicycle rides and waterfalls and beautiful terrains, then you should definitely take this adventure.

I expected more when i went looking for this place. The guides are unofficial and are mainly the locals of the nearby village. There are no official rates or entrance fees, kindly note you will most likely over pay for entry. I don't think what i got was worth it. The guides rather ridiculed me when they realized I wasn't impressed. The stairs and trails are steep and a bit dangerous. The terrain to the site is harsh, u definitely need a 4x4. I didn't feel safe leaving my car out in the middle of the bush. Generally the place needs a bit more investment and maintenance. It's not an experience I'm willing to go through again.

Great for hikers, the waterfalls had low flow but lovely, even though we went during the dry season. Beware, they don’t have washroom or toilets. Great staff especially Kwame, who had time and patience with us.

A great serene environment. Road that leads to the fall is a walking distance from the town but it's hilarious and quite adventurous. This falls flows through an amazing forest. Sometimes the rocks gets wet and slippery, one has to be careful when passing. Perfect weather, it's all green and natural. And 100% pure. Such a good place to have a family picnic.

This is such a work out getting there! We rented bikes from around the Aburi botanical gardens and rode half way, this was so much fun!! We had to park the bikes about a Kilometer to the waterfall and hiked. The view is utterly beautiful during the hike (it requires fortitude too😁). The waterfall is worth all the hiking!!! It is breathtaking and it MAY BE safe to swim in its plunge pool due to its shallowness. The trip is highly recommended!

Jubilee park at Koforidua is a conducive space where programs are hosted. Its a well planned out setting where you even get a place to sit or stand from the scorching sun or a threatening rain. It is easy to locate. Its just some few meters away from the Koforidua Police headquarters that is popularly called Galloway.

A natural year-round stream that flows through a woodland valley and is the source for three 100 foot waterfalls. The valley, with its plush tropical vegetation, and the stream, with its year-round waterfalls, provide a unique bionetwork. This fall is only minutes away from the commercial hub of Accra. It's such a relatively small fall but such a pleasure: clean water, lots and lots of green and rough terrains to scale before you get there. We biked 6 KM from the Aburi Botanical Gardens to Adom falls on bikes! Really interesting and thrilling but surely draining! The view leading to the fall is breath-taking. If you are after something spectacular, maybe the Adom falls wouldn't make the cut but is still worth seeing. Be safe out there, the world need you!

A nice place but difficult to find and reach (by car impossible, by foot quite difficult to climb back in the heat). During dry season the Waterfall is not very big. The camp could be neater.

Visited during a week day…the place is a beautiful hideout to escape from the buzz in the city. It has an open area perfect for picnics…some additional attractions such as a canopy walk of the falls are still ongoing.

If need of the “off the beaten tracks” for a day’s beginner’s hike or just for sightseeing, a short drive away from the bustle of Accra, then this is your destination. Get a view of the city below as you wind up the hilly road to Adom. The place is locally managed so the less expectation the better. The boys are quite friendly though. Do keep hydrated and enjoy nature while at it For the I-need-a-local-drink folk, get yourself a taste of sweet palm wine or Akpeteshie from the local shops (just ask around)

There is little or no safety measures at the place. I experienced a little boy fall and break his head at the place. The guys there are only interested in money without receipt with the excuse that receipt is finished. I ain't going back there until conditions there improved

(Translated by Google) If you rent a bike and go and look at this waterfall and other places it will be great, you can also relax near it as a little higher is the place where locals play volleyball. And just to see I do not recommend because there are many interesting places near it and you can visit the botanical garden and the place of souvenirs and other places.

  • 2/5 Alienation S. 2 years ago on Google
Comparing with other waterfalls, that one is poor in terms of access, wideness and facilities. Access Road slope is serious and there is no pavement, stormwater have damaged the soil surface of it. Therefore you need to leave your vehicle at some point up to the entrance and walk a serious sloped distance, it is hard to climb back that slope at return. There is no sitting place next to the waterfall and it is very narrow, stairs with high steps. No cafe no restaurant. Only good for hikers not for the tourists. Location is close to Aburi.

Cool weather early morning and very hot in the afternoon, no food or drinks there so carry one along especially water, wear hiking footwear to help you walk down and up the hill. No guide to give you a tour info although you'll be charged for entry.

A very nice and beautiful place , they have nice reception for your parties, camping, picnic and many more, only the 10 to 15 minutes hike from the car park to the Waterfalls it a bit hard , but you will really enjoy when you get there. The place is under development. I can see some reviews that will deceive you from visiting the place . I can say again the problem is only the hike . And its a good exercise tho .

Best and neat place to be , they have a nice reception , where you can do your picnic , or rest and enjoy your food , the little problem is the hike from the car pack to the waterfalls , about ten minutes walk , a bit difficult , but wealth an exercise . It was good and great experience , you need to wear good sneakers , and wear something sportive
