Stunning scenery and gorgeous walks through rolling hills. Picturesque buildings that look like they belong in a distant past before the age of the motor car. Its easy to see why this area is classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty. We walked on New Year's Day, which was one of the few dry days over the holiday period. The ground was saturated, turning the footpaths into bogs in some areas, so I would highly recommend good walking boots or even Wellington boots when wet. We visited this area after two weeks of continuous rain, I'm sure it's much more easy going in drier weather.

Bibury is such a picturesque place so lovely to walk around. Tourists were a bit noisy when we went but it was still beautiful. Iron Age settlement, also lots of different paths to follow for those that like to explore plus there is a excellent cafe there with really friendly staff.

This village is so beautiful, it does not even look like England, it makes you feel that you are somewhere else, so quiet and lovely medieval buildings. Walking around lambs and sheep is so peaceful too. I will definitely come back with the businesses are open to be able to spend more time

It was like straight out of a fairy tale book. Its lush nature, its medieval houses arranged in order, its colorful flowers… I felt like I was traveling in a completely different time period. It was the most beautiful village I have ever seen. Instagram: @tasciikubra

The Cotswolds is a truly remarkable destination that exceeded my expectations on every level. As soon as I entered this picturesque area, I was greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors, with its quintessential honey-colored stone cottages, lush green countryside, and vibrant gardens that seemed to be taken straight from a storybook. The charm of the Cotswolds is palpable, and the friendly locals further enhance the experience. Strolling through the quaint villages, each with its own unique character, I couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity and wonder. The cobblestone streets, centuries-old churches, and bustling local markets created an ambiance that transported me back in time. Exploring the rolling hills and breathtaking landscapes on foot or by bike was a true delight. The well-marked walking trails led me through serene woodlands, past tranquil rivers, and over the stunning escarpments, offering spectacular panoramic views of the area. One of the highlights of my visit was discovering the incredible culinary scene in the Cotswolds. From cozy pubs offering hearty, traditional fare to Michelin-starred restaurants showcasing innovative dishes, there was no shortage of options to tantalize my taste buds. The accommodations in the area were equally impressive. Whether staying in a luxurious manor house or a charming bed and breakfast, I was always met with warm hospitality and exceptional service. Overall, my experience in the Cotswolds was nothing short of magical. Its captivating beauty, rich history, and welcoming atmosphere make it an unforgettable destination that I cannot wait to return to. If you're considering a trip to the English countryside, the Cotswolds should undoubtedly be at the top of your list.

I am fortunate to be living very close to Cotswolds. The total area is amazing and has a rich history. Right from beautiful limestone buildings to picturesque locations. Must visit places in the cotswolds are Castle Combe, Bibury , Bath and Burton on Water.

Burton-on-the-water is a charming village located in the heart of the Cotswolds in England. The village is known for its picturesque setting on the River Windrush and its charming, historical buildings. One of the highlights of Burton-on-the-water is the beautiful Riverside Walk, which takes visitors along the river and through the village. The walk is a great way to enjoy the peaceful setting and take in the sights and sounds of the village. There are also plenty of charming shops and restaurants in Burton-on-the-water, making it a great place to spend the day. The village is home to a variety of independent boutiques and specialty shops, as well as a range of cafes and pubs serving delicious food and drink. Overall, Burton-on-the-water is a delightful place to visit and offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a peaceful day out in the countryside or a chance to explore the charming shops and restaurants, Burton-on-the-water is definitely worth a visit.

Took a guided tour from london to cotswolds. The 3 villages of Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Wate villages were magnificent. Burford is a gateway to Cotswolds and it has amazing houses with thatched roof. All houses and even fences of farms are made with same limestone. Please try cream tea here and enjoy the delicious soft scoens with jam and Whipped cream. Bibury is really beautiful. It is unique and has wonderful natural beauty. Worth capturing pictures of houses there, greenery and ofcourse yourself. Bourton-on-the-water is also really worth spending some time.. Overall would recommend this trip. However, it was drizzling most of the time during the tour today so will suggest to enjoy fully carry a jacket with a cap.

The Cotswolds are worth a visit and a stay for a few days. There are numerous beautiful villages, churches, gardens and parks, as well as wonderfull footpaths through woods, hills, riverbeds... Make sure you wear the right shoes, or wellies...

It's all about the cute little villages and towns. Sunshine helps a lot to bring out the famous honey colour of the Cotswold stone. Castle Coombe steals the show for me. You should recognise it from many films and TV programmes. Bibury is small but perfectly formed featuring Arlington Row cottages. Burford is a bigger but very attractive town with a pleasing blend of charming homes and quaint shops, pubs and tearooms. I'm sorry to say I found Bourton on the Water to be over commercialised and overcrowded.

If you visit the Cotswolds I recommend to everyone you should go to Bourton on the Water as its the most amazing and stunning place there there's lots of things to do such as the motor museum model village and there's a lot of brilliant shops pubs and a cafe about the river is beautiful and charming with 5 bridges we visited today (Tuesday) and the weather didn't ruin us it was my 1st time visiting Bourton and had a wonderful time there we visited the model village and the motor museum we went for a pub stop at the Duke of Wellington what a lovley pub that was we walked along the riverside a few times too looked around all the great shops the little sweet shop was brilliant as it had Rolys fudge and its my favourite fudge place also beautiful houses round the back of the shops we parked in the model village car park and it was £4.50 for 5 hours what a good price and cheap such a happy and peaceful place in the Cotswolds we will be back

Ufff what a great place! Takes you to a different era. The only problem is that it could get very busy at times so try to go when it is less busy so you enjoy it more and be able to snap pictures without people coming in the way :)

Excellent day out. This is Paradise for dog walkers hikers and explorers. Broadway tower is very welcoming and views are splendid. Loads of great footpaths leading in all directions. The tea room here is really special, great food and drink and dog friendly. You can buy a membership card which gives great value.

Magical place, I've came to Cotswolds for a weekend hike and was not disappointed. Beautiful villages, rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Truly a gem so close to where I live. I'll be coming back here more often and would recommend Diamond way hike or at least visiting some villages on the list.

Bourton on the water is the perfect cotswolds village. With the river running through its centre and the quaint little bridges across its so picturesque. It can be busy as its so popular but there are plenty of car parks available. A good fun day out, hopefully seeing and enjoying and leaving the village as beautiful as you found 😊

Stunning views and places to visit. The Cotswolds in general are great for walks, food and visiting plenty of lonely villages. Whether it is for a hike or a picnic with the family, there is plenty to see and do. It's also worth visiting Cotswold Water Park which is not too far away and definitely has some great walks around and about.

Cotswolds is very beautiful. Anywhere you go, you will find stunning stone cottages, rivers and greenery. We went to Bourton-on-the-water and Arlington Row. Both of the places are stunning. Very nice cafes and shops in Bourton-on-the-water.

So nice to see so many of our meadows returned to wild flowers and no longer grazing pasture. Lots to see and do across the cotswolds but definitely visit the popular places such as Bourton-on-the-water and venture off the beaten track too. Explore the countryside and find yourselves some nice walks. There are miles and miles of public routes all across the country and the cotswold is no exception.

One of the most beautiful part of the country with picture perfect villages and walking trails and beauty spots. No matter where you are in Cotswolds, you won’t be too far from tranquil places and good pub lunch. Take Cotswolds Way and you will find hidden gem all along the way. Visit few villages and enjoy the beauty.

Had a great one with the family at Cotswold. Wide variety of animals, plenty of space to sit and have picnics. Few restaurants where you can purchase lunch or you can take a pack lunch to avoid the queue. Long queue for the train but quite reasonable price £2 adults £1 for children. Some villages near by Bourton-on- the- Water Bibury The model village

Cleve Hill, what an amazing place! Stunning panoramic views, no matter what the weather is like, looking down across Cheltenham and beyond! If you're visiting the area, mark this as a place to explore. The road up to Cleve Hill is very bumpy in places, watch out for pot holes, narrow but there are plenty of passing points. There is a small carpark and parking on road verges nearby.

You can find parking very difficult. Empty bottles and cans on the side of the road. I could not find any walking way around. If it is a public park why I have seen just private property and private land everywhere around. I tried to find a nice place to walk with my family but unfortunately I didn't find.
