An
excellent
day
out
hiking
which
started
at
The
Queen
Elizabeth
Olympic
park.
The
area
has
well
defined
pathways
for
both
pedestrian
and
cyclists
and
is
very
well
sign
posted.
There
is
an
abundance
of
seating
and
the
views
over
the
whole
area
are
spectacular.
The
various
canals
and
footpaths
and
bridges
are
well
sign
posted
and
are
a
lovely
place
to
stroll
with
friends
and
family.
There
are
an
abundance
of
manicured
lawns,
trees,
and
flowers
and
shrubs
to
enjoy.
There
is
a
large
kids
play
area
with
numerous
features
such
as
climbing
walls
and
frames.
There
are
also
boats
and
pedalos
for
hire
on
the
canal
for
those
who
enjoy
the
water.
An
ideal
location
for
a
picnic,
family
day
out
with
the
kids
or
just
a
solitary
stroll.
The
views
of
the
old
Olympic
Stadium,
The
Olympic
Swimming
pool
and
the
numerous
high
rise
modern
buildings
make
for
great
photo
opportunities.
A
day
out
here
is
highly
recommended.
