i bought a daytona rose gold a year ago from this place... i purchased this watch specifically on terms that they promised to put me on a list to purchase another rare watch in the future. when i went back in there they said that i wasn’t in line for the watch and claimed they never made the promise to put me on the list! they even went as far as stating that they never seen me before! Based off of the fact that Matt, the owner, fails to keep his word proves that he runs an unethical business. i called again today to see if they would honor their word and they said that i was rude and i wouldn’t be able to get the watch. when someone fails to keep their word there’s a difference between being rude and being right. i am very uncomfortable doing business with a dishonest person. i feel ashamed especially since i spent $40grand on a daytona and planned to spend another $25grand. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

I came to H&L before to get my fiancée’s engagement ring appraised. I was satisfied with Jennifer’s service so we decided to come here for the wedding bands. Mimi was courteous and patient with my fiancée and I. She helped my fiancée select a beautiful wedding band. I’m not really into rings so she was able to walk me through the whole process. I hesitate to leave such a review and let someone else get the next piece I would like to purchase but my experience with Kyle at HL Gross warrants the praise. It’s not as if I’m constantly in jewelry stores but I’ve been to several over the years. It can often be uncomfortable and you can sometimes wonder if you’re being taken advantage of. That was not the case at HL Gross. Kyle was by far the most knowledgeable, most patient and most comfortable person that I have dealt with. I lost one of my wedding bands we had ordered from HL Gross by mistake, and recently replaced it. I worked with Krysi over the phone and she was more than accommodating. She looked up our previous order, matched the band perfectly, ordered it for us and shipped it to my house! I’m still in disbelief and amazed at the level of customer service and capability offered at H.L. Gross! When I, unknowingly, visited the boutique minutes before closing, I wasn’t turned away, instead was welcomed with smiles and greetings. She worked persistently with her boss, Brad who is also a true professional, to secure the timepieces for me as soon as possible. With this kind of service and delivery, it’s no wonder they have been in business over 100 years! I will come back in a heartbeat for more purchases in the future!

Krysi helped my fiancé and I with enlarging my engagement ring. She was incredibly sweet and understanding. I got my ring resized the day I called to ask about pricing, and it was significantly cheaper than other jewelry stores I'd researched. Other stores (especially chain stores) were telling me it would take 2-7 days to get done and there would be a fee of $100 altogether at least. The jeweler, Ed, at H. L. Gross got it done in 30 minutes the same day I called. Ed gave the ring to me several times to try on to make sure I was happy with the size. They also kindly allowed us to watch the process, as my fiancé didn't want the ring out of sight. Incredibly professional and quick. Krysi also helped us look at wedding bands after and answered our many questions without trying to push a sale on us! Can't say enough about this place. Will definitely be returning!

My new happy place! Had my mothers engagement ring set into a necklace. Everyone was helpful understand and informative. Fantastic experience getting my Rolex serviced. It is done in house and they are definitely faster than some of the other servicers out there. I definitely recommend them for Rolex service.

I will start by saying that I am blown away at the level of customer service at this store. I want to thank Christina specifically who went above and beyond to help me deal with a situation, which had nothing to do with them. She consistently returned my calls and subsequently made calls on my behalf to Rolex to help advocate for me to obtain a warranty service for a watch that was not even purchased there. She was extremely informative, helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The same can be said of Jorge, their watchmaker, who is Rolex certified (tough to find outside of Rolex NYC). He was patient and equally helpful and informative when my watch was dropped off/picked up. Considering that this is the level of service received for a watch that wasn't even bought there, I would have zero doubt/hesitation to purchase my next Rolex (or any watch/jewelry) from them. Regardless of the watch/jewelry you're looking to purchase, they should be your first and only stop. As an added bonus, the store is immaculate and has a fantastic selection. Bought my wife’s engagement ring, and both our wedding bands here, and I’m about to go buy a watch from them, they’re awesome. Their prices are great and they really take care of you if something goes wrong with the ring. We had a few issues of the stones falling of the engagement ring(not their fault, it was a manufacturing issue) and they remade the whole ring for me. Haven’t had any serious issues since.
