It was the valentines day edition at the sankofa restaurant inside movenpic ambassadors Hotel and I must say; their food is tasty and there were varieties to choose from. From appetisers to main dish to desert. Everything was on point. All the workers are professional at their work. They are well mannered and attended to everyone at the restaurant. There was great acoustic music performance from a very special artist. They climaxed the night with some beautiful gifts. It's a great place for families and their loved ones. I enjoyed every bit of the night. Compliments going out to the chefs. Pastry and main dishes. You are all wonderful.

It used to be my favorite buffet dinner place .. prices have increased while offerings have been reduced or downgraded... No more smoked salmon, reduced salad options, reduced dessert offerings, and quality (you call that chunky rice thing sushi?? Seriously🤣🤣) Can't recommend it anymore..... Sorry

Of all the 5 star hotels in Accra, Sankofa provides the most tasty and versatile meal options for breakfast, lunch and supper. Customer service, topnotch. Atmosphere, enchanting. If i can afford it on a daily occasion, Sankofa will be a daily option.

Hands down the most racist place I visited in Ghana. I am brown (& proud) and came for dinner having read raving reviews about Sankofa. The guy serving us was more interested in serving the white clients around us. He missed out our food order (some items completely missing), didn't get us the wine we ordered and when we asked for the bill didn't even remember what he had missed. I complained to a lady who came to our table to ask how things were and got half an apology. Not going again and not recommending to anyone!

They do continental Buffet and A la carte as well. They have so much variety. Friday themed night buffet and Sunday branch is awesome.

I am staying in the hotel and have had several meals here. The last 2 times we have had to wait over an hour for the food to come after ordering. In the first night my vegetarian friend's food eventually arrived but contained meat. My rare fillet steak was close to well done. When I tried the chicken burger it was thin, stringy and drowned in tomato ketchup. As i am writing this I have been waiting an hour and a quarter for tonight's meal and still no sign. For a 5* hotel charging 5* prices this is unacceptable.

Overall a very good place. Sunday brunch was excellent. I just wasn't happy I had to pay extra Gh80 for drinks I didn't order for which was the fault of a new waiter, after paying Gh340 for Sunday Brunch. That wasn't right.

Food is awful. The dining room could use a good scrubbing, in fact a renovation. The seats are torn.

The buffet is an amazing array of food. The service is quite good. It took a bit of time to get out birthday request executed however it is highly recommended.
