Bondai
meets
the
hype
made
on
their
IG
page.
I
was
one
of
those
who
looked
forward
to
their
opening
because
I
came
across
some
pictures
of
their
menu
and
couldn’t
resist
the
urge.
It’s
a
beautiful
place
with
exquisite
decor.
Has
both
indoor
and
outdoor
seating
and
It
marries
nature
with
contemporary
art
in
a
laisser
faire
kind
of
manner.
There’s
so
much
to
feast
your
eyes
on.
You
could
very
easily
forget
the
primary
goal
for
going
there
was
to
feed
your
stomach.
Between
the
tiles
and
the
hanging
wall
arts,
I
could
not
decide
which
I
liked
more.
Perhaps
it
was
even
the
super
comfy
and
colorful
furniture.
My
main
which
was
a
Pad
Thai
was
superb.
But
they
didn’t
have
a
lot
of
things
on
the
starters.
I
eventually
ordered
a
bruschetta
which
was
quite
basic.
The
bread
crumbled
right
on
the
plate
before
I
could
even
raise
it
to
my
lips.
It’s
difficult
to
tell
that
it’s
a
Japanese
restaurant.
There’s
way
too
much
on
the
menu
so
I
spent
a
whole
lot
of
time
deciding
what
to
eat
and
ended
up
going
with
the
safest
option.
A
Pad
Thai
The
staff,
though
pleasant
and
super
respectful,
need
a
bit
more
training
and
confidence
building.
Our
server
could
not
recommend
anything
and
left
us
even
more
confused.
The
mixologist
was
another
hard
nut
but
he
eventually
recommended
a
cocktail
called
‘lily
of
the
valley’
which
turned
out
great.
We
ended
up
having
basic
brownie
and
apple
tart
with
vanilla
ice
cream
for
dessert
but
there
was
no
problem
with
either.
I
would
have
wished
that
the
ice
cream
would
be
home
made
with
a
twist
if
they
were
going
to
serve
brownie
and
apple
tart.
I
highly
recommend
this
restaurant
to
anyone
looking
for
a
place
to
have
lunch
or
dinner
with
family,
friends,
colleagues
or
acquaintances.
