RUDE!!! We brought in gold jewelry and they tried to tell us it wasn’t real. The man working “Tim” was very rude and claimed our items were not real. We took the items to another jewelry store and we were verified that our pieces were real. We wanted to deal with a local shop and we were astonished how rude he was to us. He treated us as fools and advised us that even if he tested the jewelry and it came up as gold he would need to melt the items to verify if it was real or not. I do not recommend taking or buying from this place. Very disappointing. Go to another jewelry shop we’re they actually treat you with respect

Drove up from Hagerstown, MD and found them to be very polite, helpful and affordable. Sized my Moissanite ring in less than a week and called me promptly when completed. They straightened and tightened my basket prongs beautifully, polished my ring, and cleaned my stone too. The sizing work was exceptionally well done...smooth band and you couldn't see a correction had been made. Very pleased and I will purchase from this jeweler again.

My experience was wonderful! I dropped my grandmothers ring off to be turned into a necklace so I could actually wear it. They were fast, affordable, and did a phenomenal job on my necklace! I would highly recommend.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I took my rings here to get them repaired and cleaned. They took the time to explain the damage that my ring had suffered, and actually showed me on their screen so I could see up close for myself. They did a great job explaining what needed to be done and keeping me informed. I loved that my rings could be repaired there in the shop. They did a great job!

The Jewelry Shop was referred to me by some folks on Facebook. I liked that they do all their work in-house. I took them my engagement ring and my wedding ring because over the last 20+ years I have abused the heck out of them and lost 2 stones from my wedding ring and 3 from my engagement ring :o The jewelers here fixed them both back to brand new! I cannot say enough about their work! The staff is so friendly and they took the time to explain why I had lost the stones. Needless to say I am now wearing my rings on separate fingers from now on. After having my wedding band cut off for a surgical procedure I was anxious to get it fixed, have some others sized and get them back on my fingers. I wanted a place that did all the repairs in house and the Jewelry Shop came highly recommended. The staff were extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I visited them wed with a concern about 2 gold necklaces my pup had broken by pawing at me. During old home week i walked in and they said with out hesitation they could fix it! So I was super happy about it, but what really did it for me is I told them I'd like it done by Friday even tho there turn around is about a week. But again with no hesitation they said they would have it done by Saturday. Well today is friday and I I recieved the call they both were finished. 🙂 So I had went in, paid and inspected my jewelry and I could not even notice where the breaks were!! Needles to say. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt like family. Jen helped us pick the perfect setting for a diamond that was given to me by my mother-in-law. She was very thorough in the entire process and helped us navigate through financial options as well. My ring was ready before the expected date and I was thrilled to learn that the custom work would be done in house, rather than being sent away to a lab. I felt a personal and professional connection with Jen, as well as each member of the staff I interacted with. My custom ring turned out to be more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and I had my wedding band arodiumed to match. My husband & I went in looking to upgrade my ring set for our 47th Anniversary. I wanted something simple with a three stone setting. The folks at The Jewelry Shop were very patient and helped me find the perfect setting. They even used my original stone and matched the other diamonds to it perfectly. Being able to incorporate my diamond into the new ring set gave me a feeling of continuity and I truly appreciate that. It really .is perfect!

I stepped in the Jewelry Shop one day because I swam with my cheap wrist watch on. It was still running but fogged up with drops of water inside. This very friendly young lady ask me if she could help me. I told her what happen and if she could do something to get it dried out. She told me that they would dry it out but wasn't sure if it would keep working. I told her it didnt matter weather it worked but I would like her to try. She wrote up an order and told me she would call me in a few days. She did call me a few days latter and my watch still works for now. I would advise everyone to stop by anytime check out all the great Jewelry they have and enjoy the friendly atmosphere .

The staff here are wonderful. We have used.thid jewelry shop several times for repairs. Very reasonable prices. Very good eye to detailing the rings. Would definitely recommend this place for any repair services.

Quality work, but poor customer service by the owner/jeweler. We had taken my wedding set in to be repaired and when I got it back it looked excellent but was soldered together incorrectly. The band needed to be flipped so it would fit together better. When I took it back the jeweler, Tim, insisted that they had done it correctly the first time and as I politely explained to him what needed changed he was shaking his head no and continued to give me reasons why he thought I was wrong. He made a comment that he “would do it the way I wanted it, but when I brought it back for a third time because it wasn’t right that wasn’t on them”. He spoke very defensively and belittling toward me, to the point I was in tears and tried to just take my ring back as it was; but he insisted they would finish the job. He had me wait in store while he took it back apart and after he placed it the way I asked him to he said “you’re right, it does fit better that way” and completely changed his tune toward me. After the third attempt I’m still not 100% satisfied with the results, but will leave it as is or take it elsewhere. I SO appreciated the ladies working on the floor, who overhead and watched the encounter, for being so sweet and attentive to me while I waited. Unfortunately the first time supporting the business will also be my last. The way you make a person feel will ALWAYS outweigh the product you provide.

I called to see if they buy jewelry. I informed them that I was 25 minutes away. very friendly on the phone and in person and was greeted when I walked in. however, the gentleman was not interest at all in the ring and the woman up front offer amazing $32 for scrape price for a $1300 ring. Wish I would have known he was only interest in gold which wasn't much since the band is small. I wasn't expecting to get what I paid for, but I wasn't expecting that. I wish I didn't waste time and gas.

My husband had purchased my engagement ring previously from a chain jewelry store that recent got bought out and then disappeared. I did a lot of research on local jewelry stores to take my ring to for repairs. I decided on The Jewelry Shop because of it being family owned and having in house repairs. They certainly did not disappoint!!! The minute I walked in I felt welcomed and well taken care of. They took the extra time to educate me on numerous things and on how to prevent future damage to my rings. They were wonderful to deal with and they had my ring repairs done within 2 business days. They were kind, informative, lovely people in there! I will NEVER go to another jewelry store again!

I had a custom necklace made there from a pearl I had. The young lady took her time and answered all my questions and she did research for me to find the perfect setting for my pearl.
