My wife and I went in to the Mesa store looking for a simple ring for $500, it took 2 associates scrambling to find a simple ring and they could'nt, the prices I saw did'nt make me believe Randy wanted to be "My jeweler"

Raul and the rest of the Johnson Jewelers team are second to none. They made buying my wife’s engagement ring such a great experience that we went back there to get our wedding bands and had them add a diamond to her engagement ring. Great selection. Great service. Great prices. They’re the best.

Years ago, Randy Johnson assisted me in designing a pendant out of my wedding ring. Recently, I lost one of the baguettes and was devastated! I brought it back to the jewelry store and they were able to replace the baguett Alice Martinez was very professional and really knew her job. It was a pleasure working with her. They went above and beyond for me!

I visited a jeweler near their location and I could tell the guy was "fishy" at best, he quoted me $438 for resizing 3 rings. Tried to sell me on the fact they do it with laser and stuff. So I stopped by johson jewelers at the Westside location and Raul was very professional, helpful and made sure I was out of there quickly. Paid wayyyy less than half of what that other jeweler was charging me. 😳 thank you Raul

Apparently Mr. Johnson did NOT want to be my jeweler. Went in and was helped right away which is a BIG PLUS. However, that is the only good thing I have to say. It seemed like the woman helping me was only partially listening to what I was looking for. I had to repeat some items a couple times. Was shown a big collection of rings in a book and boy were they BORING. I thought after showing me the book and said I didn't like any of them we would go on to discussing designing a ring (which I was expecting to and said as much when I came in) I was wrong. If I wanted to feel unimportant I would have went to Kay Jewelers or one of the other big name jewelry stores. Thank you for showing me the Johnson Jewelers true colors. I am sure others have received wonderful service but, I did not.

We have updated our wedding rings for our 5th anniversary. Raul went above and beyond to help us selected the right ring. He is very knowledgeable and very patient when explaining the types of diamonds and the different cuts. He will be our jewelry and a friend moving forward.

Best experience with Raul! Side note, i've compared to Blue Nile and Jamesallen prices and definitely the price is better here at Johnson Jewelers. Also, Raul explained the diamonds and ring properties so well! Highly recommended!

I received some conflicting information about whether or not my diamond ring was real. I was in a bit of a time crunch and I wanted to get it appraised. Mr. Johnson himself walked me through everything on the phone and allowed me to come in to get my diamond tested. It turns out my diamond is real! He even cleaned it for me, all free of charge. It's so nice to interact with local businesses who care about their customers.

I had the absolutely best experience working with Johnson Jewlers. I was working with their west side location on Mesa st. Being helped by Raul who was absolutely amazing. We finished the entire process within two weeks. The entire staff was extremely attentive as well and provided great service cannot recommend them enough. Raul assured I had constant updates on delivery’s and prices at all times ensuring I have the best service. Roberto Cook took his time explaining the different diamonds and pricing in my budget. He explained every intricate detail of each diamond and was very knowledgeable. I’m very visual and I want to see the diamond and the clarity before I buy the engagement ring I want for my girlfriend. Well needless to say I found the perfect ring thanks to Roberto. I’ve made a number of major purchases from Johnson’s. They have a wide selection including higher quality jewelry including a lot of GIA certified stones. You can browse in person instead of being told “we can order it”. Nothing is worse than going back and forth ordering a diamond and then not being satisfied then having them send it back and get another one. Raul is far and away the most knowledgeable, friendly, and customer oriented person I’ve ever run into in a jewelry store. He went out of his way a number of times to get us everything we wanted and to make sure we were completely satisfied. Don’t waste your time looking around. Go to Johnson’s first. It was a heritage piece and we wanted to make our wedding rings from it and retain the stamped Chinese characters in the final rings. We worked closely with Luann, Monica, and Sergio to get it right. I have been using Johnson for 10 years and the last 5 exclusively. The store is exactly the level of class and sophistication you would expect. I however am a bit rough around the edges and they have always treated me like family. Mr Johnson spoke to me for over an hour one day in a neighborly fashion and I have been using the same saleswoman since day one (more below). For quality I have found nothing better in El Paso when I want a piece I am proud of. My budget has almost always been workable, however, this is a quality store with fine jewelry, not a department store. I have never once had any issues with many many pieces purchased. They have happily cleaned everything when I show for more pieces. Luanne. Luanne. Luanne. I love this woman like family. She treats me like someone I have known my whole life and I will never shop elsewhere. On two separate occasions she had been able to order and custom create pieces over the phone. She is a wizard with jewelry and a consummate professional. I will go nowhere else.

I was looking for an engagement ring and was lucky to have Raul as my jeweler to say the least, once I told him what I was looking for in particular he was able to give me a wide range of selection. They didn't have the exact diamond in stock but he made the order immediately and after a week it had arrived, and to be honest I didn't mind the waiting at all, because when I saw the diamond I was blown away, it was better than I had even anticipated, Raul had made sure I would get the best possible diamond he could find, and I could tell that he really took pride in his job, and with good reason I would say. I went to Jared to buy my fiancé his ring and it was an awful experience 😔 They ordered him the wrong size even after sizing him and wanted us to pay out of pocket to re order it. Terrible. Good and helpful customer service, however the owner was walking about the store without a mask and they were not taking any COVID-19 precautions. Associate was handling my personal jewelry without gloves, and was putting jewelry on and off my husband’s hand and mine without gloves and there was zero social distancing. Other jewelry stores I’ve been to are having their employees wear gloves, and disinfect the jewelry in a tray before and after handling it, and are definitely not touching their customers hands. Not this place. They did not disinfect the jewelry before and after I tried it on, they just put it right back in the display case. Considering the rising cases in El Paso, my visit was a very uneasy and stressful one. They have the privilege of being open during these times and should be making sure their customers/associates are safe and comfortable.

Absolutely recommend this store, specifically for engagement rings. The store itself is very nice with a large selection and plenty of options that can be ordered as well. However, the sales associate I worked with really made the experience. Brittney was extremely helpful through the entire process and was in constant communication with me. She helped arrange things before I came in to make sure things were in stock or available. She also helped after the fact to make a slight size adjustment. She was never pushy and was there to help the entire way, which was great because I had little experience with diamonds and jewelry. 10/10 recommend.

If you are looking for a really nice place to go for jewelry Johnson Jewelry is the place to go. My husband went there to buy me a Christmas gift. When I opened it I wasn’t really something I wanted. So he went back and exchanged it for a ring. It was too small so I went back with him to get it sized. When we got there our salesperson Raul Porras let me know if I didn’t like the ring I could exchange it once again. I looked around and found another ring which I fell in love with. I had some money left from the purchase and Raul showed me some beautiful diamond earrings that I knew I also had to have. I appreciated that Raul wanted me to have a present 🎁 that I would really love and treasure.

I went in to get a new battery for my watch. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I was in-and-out in less than 10 minutes. While I waited, I browsed around and noticed they have a very nice selection of watches.
