I recently got my family heirloom engagement ring serviced by decor to secure the center Diamond. I am appalled at how it was returned to me. Platinum was added to the prongs but somehow seeped into the design of the ring, altering its symmetry and potentially ruining my treasured ring. If you are looking for regular maintenance done on your jewelry look somewhere else.

I recently brought a ring that was my mother’s to Decor One. It was in rough shape, I had damaged the stone from constantly wearing it. I was very nervous about having something designed based on my abstract ideas. I put my trust in Joe and Arlene. To say I was thrilled with the outcome is an understatement. My family and I have been loyal customers for over 20 years. We have spent over $50,000 with them. I thought I was getting the absolute best deals and decent quality. I trusted this company. I recently, paid to have several of my jewelry pieces independently appraised for insurance reasons. It was quite to my dismay I discovered some very disturbing things. First, one of my smaller diamonds on my wedding band had fallen out and they replaced it. The missing diamond that was replaced was in the center of 9 other princess diamonds. The replaced diamond was of inferior quality in comparison to all the surrounding diamonds. Secondly, I purchased a pair of 4 ct. diamond stud earrings that I paid over $12,000 and they have been appraised at less than $4,500. The insurance appraisal Decor gave me was for $24,000! I am extremely disappointed and can't believe it.

This was my third visit but during Covid-19. All of the staff were wearing masks upon my entry. I had a mask as well and felt very comfortable during the pandemic going into Decor. As always the staff were amazing, friendly and went out of their way to help me. I cannot praise this store enough for their kindness and customer service. This story starts before Christmas when my mom was admitted to the ICU (late-stage Lou Gehrig's). During her stay, my mom's hands swelled up quickly and her wedding bands had to be cut off to save her finger. The process was traumatizing and left the rings absolutely destroyed. We all knew that my mom didn't have much time left and turned to Decor Jewelry to repair the rings before she passed. This was right around Christmas and am sure the store was already very busy with other orders placed far in advance. They promised to have the repair done before Christmas, but completed it even earlier when I called and explained that my mom's health was quickly getting worse. When me and my Dad went to pick up the rings, the staff were beyond nice and understanding like I have never experienced before. The owner told us the repair was on the house and even gave us hugs. I was bawling by then, so overwhelmed with everything going on with my mom and the kindness they showed us. My mom has since passed, but she got her rings back before. I can't even explain how much this meant to her.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Décor. My latest task for them was to do a repair on my 43 year old engagement ring. I had lost a prong. So, I asked if it would be a problem to change it from a 6 prong head to a 4 prong head and of course, it wasn't. It turned out beautifully!
