Exceptional service. I needed a ring resized and they got it done for me on time. They also cleaned it so it looks beautiful. I’ll take away one star because I was disappointed that I couldn’t get a cheap ring box to put it after the repair cuz they didn’t have any! Not sure why?! Presuming they do ring repairs often enough, it would be useful for you guys to have some inexpensive boxes for your customers so customers don’t have to stick an engagement ring in their pocket when they leave. A small investment that matters to your customers. Granted they gave me a necklace box to put a ring in and that was great but not what I needed.

Follow up on a previous review - have recently purchased from Hal Davis and I absolutely stand by my 5-star rating. Have mostly worked with Kara but have met a lot of the other staff members as well…everyone I’ve talked to here is incredibly professional and courteous. Showroom is a very welcoming environment and there is plenty to look at. As a previous reviewer pointed out, this is a great place for a watch enthusiast. That being said, there seems to be a good selection of other jewelry as well. Would highly recommend!!

I couldn’t recommend Hal Davis more if I tried! Hal Davis Jewelers is a bit old fashioned in a very good way. Their selection of designer jewelry and watches is exquisite and far from run-of-the-mill. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they will help you find it. The environment is peaceful with no sales pressure. I love that they can also create and fix jewelry. They sell and service fine watches and even if you are just getting the battery changed, they treat it as important. You always know in advance what their service will cost. I have visited Hal Division Jewelers many times and I usually look pretty disheveled. Regardless, they always treat me with respect. I’m a fan.

I accidentally submerged my watch with the winding stem out. It was sometime before I realized what must have happened. I took it to Hal Davis to be serviced. Once it was examined they identified there was water damage to the mechanism. They sent it away to be cleaned and detailed. I picked up this morning and it looks amazing-basically a new watch. The staff is very informative and courteous. I’m very pleased with my experience at Hal Davis.

Greatest jeweler on three continents! We were on a quest to buy a Rolex for our second son since we had gifted one to our first son before the worldwide shortage. We visited authorized dealers near us in New York City and Greenwich, CT. My husband tried to find one on a trip home to Caracas, Venezuela. Out of stubborn determination, we went to more than 30 stores on a recent trip to multiple cities in Switzerland and Germany. Not a watch to be found. We were considering other gift options when I had a brilliant idea: Call Hal Davis Jewelers in Boise, Idaho. I grew up in Boise and know Hal Davis Jewelers to have the very best customer service. The incredible Kara Dulhanty listened to my story and agreed that she would keep me in mind if they were lucky enough to receive any watches. Imagine my surprise to get a call from her several months later alerting me to the fact that they were expecting to receive the exact watch we wanted. We now have the watch in hand and will give it to Kid 2 this weekend. We are thrilled (though not at all surprised) that it was my hometown jeweler who came through for us. Hal Davis Jewelers offers the kind of customer service and follow-through that aren’t common these days. I would give them more than five stars if that were an option!

Hayden helped me determine my wedding ring was not the size I thought it was AND my ring size was actually smaller than I thought it should be. As a customer of Hal Davis Jewelers for almost 10 years, I can say I would never even think about going elsewhere for my jewelry needs! I have made purchases over years for myself but more often for my wife and daughter. They’ve always been extremely pleased and has never once return a gift from Hal Davis jewelers. For myself I have had jewelry repaired and heirloom jewelry with purpose, including replacement of a stone. I’m very pleased with the work that was done.

What a great hometown business! Even for someone with a budget that doesn’t include jewelry, these folks provide a watch battery replacement service that lasts for the life of the watch and recently replaced the sturdy, practical band on my Swiss Army watch.
