We had gone in there looking for an engagement rings telling them our bad experiences with other jewelers. We had an issue with other jewelers not being able to replace a stone that had fallen out, we walked back into J.F Kruse asked if they would be able to fix it. My wedding band, which hadn’t been off my finger for 52 years, had to be cut off when I had surgery. We took the rings to Von’s to get the wedding rings repaired, resized and fastened together. Every one we dealt with was courteous and very helpful. My rings look like new.

I was recently given my mother’s engagement ring. It was too small for my little finger as I wanted to wear as a pinky ring. It was also in yellow gold with 6 prongs which really isn’t my preference. My parents purchased the ring at Von’s in 1999. I took it to them to be re-set in 14k white gold with 4 prongs in the size to fit my small finger. It was completed and ready to go in a week. It is just beautiful. The staff was so friendly and courteous. They made the process quick and easy. I would recommend Von’s highly for all your fine jewelry!

He then said he would reached out to the manufacture first thing in the morning ( while he was at home with his family and not working) and arrange to have it expedited. Ring to customize to my taste, and a beautiful lab grown emerald cut diamond to go with it. I LOVE my engagement ring, thank you guys so much for making the process so fun and easy! I could not have received better service. Another jeweler was not comfortable resizing a ring I owned because it was high risk of cracking during the process. They would however recreate the same ring that I’d be happier with. I spoke with J.F. Kruse over the phone and was reassured they could do the work. They explained how it would be done with very little risk. They are located 1 1/2 hours away and it was well worth the drive for the care and quality of their work. I could not recommend them enough. The owner personally met with me prior to leaving my ring with them, not something customers see too often elsewhere. Jewelry is such a personal and sentimental item for most. It’s important to me that I trust my jeweler. These guys go above and beyond. Thank you again J.F. Kruse!

My other half and I are very very simple. Bridget worked with us in our budget/price point no problem. Never pushed us into getting anything we didn't want or that was more expensive. They have snacks and refreshments. Very well put together establishment. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something affordable and for respectable staff. If you're in town there's plenty of food places nearby as well.

They totally ruined my 30th wedding anniversary by screwing up the ring,that I bought, 3 times. I ended up with no ring and my wifes tears on our anniversary. To make it right, they offered me $50 on account. Talk about adding insult to injury!! To make things more clear, I did not purchase the ring 3 times. It was the "free services" that were done incorrectly over and over, not to mention a change in the purchase agreement during the performance of the "free services" that caused the issue at hand. I don't know of any resolution to the problem, unless you can replace the ring. Since it was an estate piece, I understand that that would be improbable.

Brought my wedding ring in to get repaired and cleaned. I bought the ring somewhere else but we no longer live in that city. They were incredibly helpful and reasonably priced. I was able to get my ring back in about 2 weeks and it looks good as new!

I had my watch band break and took to the other store here in town quoted 100.00 and week wait. Brought here and replaced 5 pins while I waited for less than $ 20.00. Excellent service and was able to repair the watch while I waited.

Everyone is always happy and good to deal with. We bought our rings 15 years and have referred many many many people there. The service and reliability is always top notch. Have never been disappointed with them. We moved out of state and they are still one of the stops we make sure to hit up every time we come back to Minnesota.

I will definitely go to J.F. Kruse again any time before considering going to a big chain jeweler. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the ring I ordered was delivered within a week! And the warranty is included on it, which would normally be another $250 anywhere else you would purchase jewelry.

Went in to get my ring repaired and was blown away by the service and consideration towards guests. They had toys for my toddler while we waited, a coffee and cocoa bar, chocolate candies, cozy seating by a fireplace to relax, adorable decorations for Christmas, and kind people throughout the store. Besides all this the price for my repair was very reasonable. Will definitely be back.
