I saw the good reviews so I trusted them to do a custom engraving job on a brand new $6500 Breitling watch. Today I received the finished product. The engraving is crooked. I pointed this out and was told it's because of the curvature. This is hard to believe as I've had other watches engraved without curvature being a problem. Also, if the work is going to come out crooked because of curvature, shouldn't the customer be warned in advance? Additionally, the watch now has scratches both on the back and on the bezel. I am both furious and disappointed.

Kensington has needed a good jeweler for a long time. We have one now. Have a family heirloom diamond engagement ring, needed to be reset, cleaned, and appraised. All work was done with expertise and care. All charges for work done and the appraisal were very reasonable. We then took in a sterling silver necklace and a sterling silver bracelet that were damaged. Again items were expertly repaired with attention to detail, price for the repairs were very reasonable. In the future they will be taking care of all our jewelry needs.

My fiancé and I made a $6,000 purchase for a bridal set. The engagement ring was ready however the bridal band was not. My fiancé was made to sign the work order while being promised the wedding band will be ready later. We never received a call and are being told that the order was fully completed and will not be receiving the ring. They make beautiful jewelry but never trust them with their word. We lost $1000 with this business.

I had an heirloom Diamond that I needed get a new setting for an engagement ring and had fallen in love with a design online that I wanted to get made by a local jeweler. I tried two other jewelers that quoted me a ridiculous price telling me the design was really complicated and I was about to give up on the design until I found Mardik who quoted me a very reasonable price, 60% less of what the two other jewelers had said. Once I decided to go with Mardik he worked extremely quickly to get the ring made in less than 3 weeks before Christmas. He also completed an appraisal of the ring before Christmas. The ring came out beautifully and was exactly what I wanted! Despite it being a difficult design, Mardik had no problem making the ring just like it! We brought in a silver plate candelabra with two arms broken in several places. Mardik was doubtful that it could be reassembled but understood that it was a favorite piece of ours. This place is a gem. You don’t want to give your valuable and expensive investments to just anyone. The person who adjusted my wedding rings was thorough and knowledgeable. He was trust worthy and had excellent customer service. I had a few things done to my rings: added/tightened prongs, removed an adjustment, and had two appraisals. Everything was done on time, the end product was better than I imagined, and I feel like I just bought new jewelry! I will definitely be back!

Purchased a bar bracelet from Kensington Jewelers. My niece's name was too long for the normal engraving option, but Mardik did an excellent job engraving her name with equipment at the store. I purchased a poor design from a big box store and he took the original ring and advised what similar style would be best to make a new ring, using the original band and diamonds in the new design. I have a custom made braided gold wedding band. After 30 years it became loose and fell off my finger. As it is one of a kind I was concerned that resizing it could not be done easily. Mardik did an incredible job in cutting the threads and reattaching them. It was a very complex job and was done to perfection. My wife took her Longines watch there for a check up and Mardik noted that the prongs on her wedding ring were worn down and the diamond was in danger of coming loose. He restored the prongs to their original size. So we both have wedding rings that will last another 30 years. Highly recommend Kensington Jewelers.

I'd previously had my ring resized (it took 2 weeks) elsewhere and the metal fell out. I took it to Mardik and he realized that the prongs needed reinforcement to secure my diamond. So he did that, repaired, and invisibly fused my rings together overnight! Very good communication to let me know next steps and when my pieces were ready for pick up.

We brought my wife's engagement ring in to be serviced just before our tenth anniversary. The owner was to restore the milgraining on the ring, and the rhodium plating, tighten the diamonds in their settings, and replace one tiny diamond that had fallen out of the band. The owner promised the ring would look as good or better than new when he was finished with it. When we returned to pick up the ring, we noticed that the milgraining had not been restored. We pointed this out and the owner agreed to do it on the spot. He took it away for a few minutes and returned with the ring and we paid and left. When we got home, we noticed that the milgraining was very roughly done - not at all delicate like the ring had been originally. Also, the rhodium plating on the white gold around the milgraining had come off so you could see the yellowish gold underneath. Also one of the prongs on the center diamond was now noticably taller than the others. We brought all this to the owner's attention and he agreed to redo the plating and fix the tall prong, which he did, free of charge. However, even after paying roughly $600, I still had a hard time convincing myself that the ring didn't actually look worse than before we brought it to him. Most disappointing of all, one of the diamonds in the setting, which had been just fine for over ten years, fell out just six months after being "tightened" at this shop. I would not bring jewelry here again.

The custom made silver pendant I had made was very fine. It had curves and parts of musical notation and was very delicately made. It was polished and it’s appearance was quite pleasing. Since it was a one-of-a-kind piece it was expensive but worth the price. Excellent craftsmanship!

Even after just meeting him, I had trust in Mardik's handling of these precious rings, and he did a great job with the work. He also, with a single glance, noticed that my Fiancé's engagement ring was not set well, and within a few seconds had grabbed a tool and fixed it on the spot for no charge. According to some forums, the resizing and engraving was a little overpriced, but I would and will return to Mardik for all my future Jewelry needs and I will happily pay more than those janky websites and cheap shops as I believe Mardik's service and expertise is well worth the extra mile.
